Not from the area but Yelped restaurants to eat on the way back home. We came across Go Fish and read through the reviews, sushi looked good, so we decided to give it a try. You take a menu, find a place to sit, look through the menu, then go back and order your food. Food: we ordered from the happy hour 3 rolls for $13+. The Louisiana and spicy tuna roll were ok. Third roll we got was the katana, which is a deep fried (tempura) with cream cheese, jalapeño but tasted like bell peppers. I wasn't a fan of this roll, it was drenched in oil, and it was not crunchy at all! For some reason it longer for us to get this particular roll. Loved the side seaweed salad, gyoza, and miso soup though! We dined in so I got to see the cleanliness of the restaurant. Not so clean, the restroom was filthy and is in major need of cleaning, the toilet seat needs to be fixed too. I can only hope the kitchen area where the food is prepared is sanitized. read more

What this place lacks in space, it makes up with amazing food and great service! I was in the area and craving sushi, so we decided to try this place out after seeing the good reviews. There was a line of 2 other people in front of us which gave us just enough time to decide on what we wanted. We got California Roll, T-Rex Roll, and Spider Roll. I was a little surprised with the serving size of the T-Rex Roll and Spider Roll; I'm definitely getting my money's worth just by size alone, but the fact that it was so good?? It was probably the 2nd or 3rd best Spider Roll I've EVER had, and it was enough for me to decide on coming back. T-Rex Roll was also very good, and you can't beat a classic California Roll. I tried the Poké roll which is tuna, avocado, mango and crunchy inside and outside is yellowtail, tobiko, jalapeño, chef special sauce and mango salsa (this includes cilantro). This place screams "best kept secret" vibes but I can almost assure you, this place is no secret. They are busy, very busy pretty much every time I have come here. The dining area is small but fills up quick and then have numerous to-go orders in process both from personal orders to delivery drivers. Easily the best sushi in town from freshness, quality, value and options. Usually not my thing but their hibachi rice is a high note as well. Let me start this review out by saying how much I HATE fish. Always have. Then, I had sushi here. MIND BLOWING. The fish is so fresh and there's no overpowering fishiness like when I've had sushi at other places. The best part is that they have a seemingly endless variety of sushi options to choose from. They vary from tame and tasty to spicy and superb. The service is amazing, too. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. My partner brought his service dog in and we were given no hassle about it. It's more of a take out place, but there is some seating inside and the ambiance is very cozy and quiet enough that you can actually have a conversation with the person you're dining with. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I'm looking forward to when their sister restaurant, Ichiban Ramen, opens up because if their ramen is as good as their sushi it's going to be to die for! Go Fish also offers great appetizers, sushi burritos, fried rice, poke bowls and more, so if sushi's not your thing chances are you'll find something you'll love there. This place was very good. High quality fish. However there was a issue in ordering. I have a very strict diet and require sashimi ONLY. However when I ordered the sashimi plate it came with rolls too not just the Sashimi. Kind of sad I couldn't eat them and a waist of money. Other then that it was great! I highly recommend.
