This was good food! The boxes were steaming when I opened them, and a feast for the eyes as well as being delicious. All of the meats tasted real (never thought I'd have to write that...). We picked up our food within 15 minutes of online ordering. This is what *I* want in Americanized Chinese food. Big chunks of aldente' cooked vegetables, properly cooked shrimp, beef & chicken, sautéed in a spicy Hunan sauce. Just YUM! I could have this or a burger for under $20. I choose this. Food- This place was DELICIOUS! I got the Orange Chicken and it tasted like the name suggests, orange chicken. I also tried their Chow Main and it was also delicious. If you're looking for a succulent Chinese meal to fill you up, this is the place. Service- The people who took our order were super nice and made sure that we (me and my friends) had everything we needed. Plus the cooks did amazing! I asked my wife to pick-up me some Chicken Chow Mein with some extra cabbage. She told the lady she specifically didn't want lo mein at the drive thru. There was a language barrier between them. She also told them I wanted steamed rice which normally comes with the order. This resturant is out of our way but I liked their Chow Mein. When my wife got home with my order, I opened it and it was full of Lo Mein which was specifically relayed to them. I called the next day after I found their phone #. I talked to a real nice lady & she said the Mgr would call me. I called back 4 hours later & she appologized, She said the Mgr doesn't work on the weekends & he would call me on Monday. I got home from work & called again. She said the Mgr will be back in ten minutes & still no return call. I can't beleive a mgr wouldn't call back to make sure their customers are taking care of or have a problem. It's not necissarily about the money but I just wanted a call back. I waited for them to open because they have good reviews however, everyone who worked didn't arrive until 30 minutes to open. I got the chow mien and there crab wantons, the crap wontons was good but the chow mien was absolutely disgusting. The noodles tasted stale and the shrimp didn't taste good either. Seemed like it wasnt fresh. I went to get a refund for my food because I spent a good 20$ on just something for me if you ask me that's expensive. They didn't give me a refund, and refused too. The restaurant was clean, and the service was fine. The food, however, was simply middle of the road. I ordered beef lo mein and eggrolls to go. The flavor of the lo mein was really pretty bland, and I had to add a lot of soy sauce to give it some seasoning flavor. The egg rolls tasted like they were frozen, ordered pre-made by food service companies. The one really good thing about the food was that the proportions were large, so it was enough to have a second meal later. I have passed by this restaurant several times and stopped in specifically to see how good an option it was for getting a meal to go. We decided to try Burning Wok because it is close to our house. We tried the Sesame Chicken and the Orange Chicken, each with the "fried" rice. The servings were both large but the chicken was mostly breading and the "fried" rice was just white rice covered in soy sauce. No frying involved. Not sure if we will go back. I went to try Burning Wok for the first time last night and let me just say I had a GREAT experience! The place was clean and the staff was so kind. I asked for Shrimp Egg Foo Young which is not on the menu. I had no problem ordering something else that was on the menu, but they made it for me anyways with no hesitation. That was probably the BEST Shrimp Egg Foo Young that I have had in this area. I really hope they do add it to their menu and I will definitely be returning! read more
