I cannot recommend Justin(owner) at go Green Air Justin sent the technician Ralph to look at my AC it was a space pack system, which is no longer in business so there was no parts to get they said They should've been able to find something comparable to what I had but they did not. They sold me a new air-conditioning unit inside and outside we agreed on a price. Gave it a deposit They did show up when they said they would they installed the units That's where it all went wrong We ended up having to change all the ductwork He had to get a piece fabricated to make it work He showed up one night with the piece to finish up the job mind you we would've still had problems The job was 14,000. I gave him an $8000 deposit which he asked for 10,000. He came back with the piece we needed and he wanted me to give him the balance that I owed him before he walked into the store to finish the job. When I left a negative follow up review, with the expectation that the issue would be fixed, they lashed out and I said I'd be fine pulling the review if they came and fixed their mess up the day after they did it. DO NOT TRUST. I hired go green to take a look at my split level central air system. The 2nd floor was blowing cold but the first floor was about 5 degrees hotter....after spending 2 hours with his assistant fiddling with the outside unit , Justin charged me over $600 and told me it "should cool down in a few hours"....the Central air unit was completely broken by the time they left and my home heated up to over 80 degrees overnight (hotter than outside). Our newborn and my wife barely slept through the night...it's now over 85+ degrees with my Central air on and we'll be staying in hotel....we need to hire another company to actually do the work CORRECTLY....Justin has yet to return any calls. Between the repair fees and accommodations I've lost over $800 by trusting Justin and Go Green Air. We had a tricky issue with a mini split unit and they kept at it and got the job done. They're great at new installs as well as repairs and maintenance and if you have any experience with HVAC, you know you'll need a good partner to take care of maintenance -- these are the guys I'd recommend. The company owner's son showed up to do the work and when I informed him that it would need to pass inspection (i.e. - be done the correct way), he said "listen, I haven't done any work...so, lets just cancel the work." I even pointed out that I had the necessary electrical pipe, so that he wouldn't have to go buy it and it wouldn't cost him anything. He then said he'd want to charge me an extra $1,000 to put the electrical wires in piping. He used soft wiring wrap for more than 6 feet, which is against code. Given I have a tenant, I had to accept his shoddy work that doesn't meet any type of code. AVOID!!! read more

May was a cool month. The installer in May failed to test if the new out of box air conditioner really cooled down by using a thermometer with a low number setting on the air conditioner. He simply put his hand over the vent and said it was cooling when I asked. The owner said he just installs and that is it. It turns out when my super tested it in comparison to a working air conditioner he found the air conditioner put in by Go green was defective. The brand was Frederich I dont recommend their air conditioners as I have been 6 weeks without cooling and have to replace it with a new one from a different manufacturer and my building staff will help me install it. When my main split-system AC went out the morning of the hottest day of the heatwave, I went into a bit of a panic and started emailing and calling HVAC companies around 7am. Justin at Go Green was the only one who said he could send someone within a few hours (everyone else said it might be a few days). True to Go Green's word, Harrison the tech showed up within about two hours and spent the another two hours diagnosing the issue, keeping me in the loop while he chatted with Carrier support. It was an electrical issue and new electrical boards were needed for both the unit and my outdoor compressor...and they needed to be ordered, and might take up to 4-5 days to arrive. While this wasn't ideal, Harris kept in regular text/phone communication with me over the next few days, providing updates. When the part came in a day early, he texted and told me he was on his way. He wound up replacing the boards and wiring, explaining the process as he went. Once the unit was fixed, he stuck around to make sure it was working properly, and even texted later that night to check in. While the final bill wasn't cheap, it felt fair, given the amount of work Harrison did. Harrison and Go Green are communicative, friendly, honest, and know what they're doing. Hopefully my ACs are good for a bit, but I'll give Harrison a call if I run into more issues. read more
