I was visiting from Nor Cal and found this sweet studio. I took a Kundalini Yoga class and a workshop by the author of Sh$t Your Ego Says. It was perfect! The studio is very inviting, absolutely adorable, and I fell in love. There is a little area with essential oils, jewelry, clothes and a couple rooms for facials too!! If I didn't have to fly home I would have easily spent the day there pampering myself!! Kelsea has done a great job with the studio, various classes and workshops. I highly recommend it! read more

So excited to have a studio in town dedicated to Kundalini yoga! It's apparent that a lot of thought and care has gone into the design of this lovely space. It has a really luxe vibe that makes me feel like I'm pampering myself by going there. I love the ladies that run the studio and have met some really nice people in my classes, too. 10/10 would recommend for a spiritually uplifting experience! How does this sanctuary exist? I've found Belmont Shore's hidden gem! Although it's right in the heart of 2nd St., it's like you've entered a secret peaceful meditation den. I first found out about Go Inward because I heard Jiwan Dev started teaching kundalini yoga here, and I met her in NYC, (she lived there for years.) Let me tell you, Long Beach is so lucky to have her! I want her back but on my visit to LA I made it a point to go out of my way and take her class. She is tuned in like no other, her class was deep, yet still fun. The studio has so many cute items, I wanted to buy everything! It smells amazing, and the tea is delicious too. What an amazing secret sanctuary in Belmont Shore. You have to enter through a door in the back alley and climb the stairs to the loft. It is located on the same block as Tilly's. But once you enter, you are transported to a whole beautiful secret world of calm and luxurious healing. I try to spend some time lounging before and after class, sipping Yogi tea, checking out the essential oils, sage, crystals, meditation books,etc. There are a lot of different yoga and meditation classes, including classes geared for tweens and teens, which I hear are very popular. But I love Kundalini yoga, so I am thrilled that there are many options for it here and excellent Kundalini yoga teachers. read more

Go Inward is a hidden gem in Belmont Shore! I came when I heard that Ramona was teaching a flow yoga class. Ascending the stairs from the alley entrance you know your stepping into a special space. I felt like the layers of stress were slowly dissolving. My real story about Go Inward though is that I ended up meeting Denise. About two weeks after meeting her I came down with sciatica for the first time. After a few days of trying to stretch, use ice, chiropractor, etc. I found myself making an appointment with Denise for acupuncture. I had so much relief after that first treatment that I was able to travel over the holiday and go on a mild hike in Zion just three days later! While I wasn't 100% I unfortunately didn't make the time to return to Denise until I had a painful relapse. I then found the time to see Denise. I'm so incredible grateful for her care since then! I've found her to be patient, understanding and knowledgeable. After a change in diet along with the acupuncture I've not had any more relapses. I've also been able to return to yoga! Health is Wealth!!! Go Inward is the new BLESSING to Long Beach. I love this healing sanctuary on many levels. The minute I walk up the stairs to the studio I can feel the good healing vibes. My nerves are calmed by just being in the space. I always start off with a free cup of tea ( I love this mystery tea so much) All the teachers and practitioner are truly passionate and knowledgable about the healing arts they offer. I was originally drawn to Go Inward because this was the only Kundalini studio in Long Beach. If you've never tried Kundalini Yoga I highly recommend it = life changer on all levels = physical, mental & spiritual. I then discovered all the different healing modalities offered at Go Inward like Craniosacral Therapy & Acupuncture. I now get both these healing modalities every other week which help me so much in dealing with the stress of life. I can honestly say Go Inward has changed my life for the better.
