Their new location provides a ton of free street and neighborhood parking. If you don't have a car, they're right next to a bus stop on Armitage, so convenience is still there. This practice really cares about their clients on all levels (ex. mental, financial, emotional, and etc), so don't be afraid to try this practice. After just two appointments with Dr. Simms and additional biometric (blood and saliva) testing, we both came to the conclusion that not only was I working against my thyroid by way of the foods that I was eating, but I was also suffering from iron and vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, I had moderate hormonal imbalances. These weren't far-fetched, non-Western conclusion, but founded in more accurate interpretations and more complete biometrics. The "prescription" was a variety of supplements to address deficiencies and excesses. I appreciate that Dr. Simms did not push me to buy the supplements offered at her clinic, as this would have been a turn-off for me. As someone who endured years without health insurance, and multiple events that would send the average person to the E.R. (but who wouldn't go because of the impending doom of the BILL), I just gotta tell you how this man has saved me *multiple thousands* of dollars AND the results of bogus diagnoses that would've been done by profit-seeking general practitioners: * Trigger Thumb: It wasn't one at all. The GP wanted to shoot me up with cortisone (and wreck good tissue/cartilage). Dr. Paul manipulated the pain away, because it was just a bruised muscle; no need for alarm; and, * Sciatica -- Lower back pain, and the feeling of gerbels crawling inside my calf. It drove me nuts. Sciatica is just a symptom, people; it's NOT a disorder all by itself. Something else is at play; i.e., something awry in your spinal cord. He sent me for a "drive through" MRI (only $350, hello!) and then confirmed a bulging disc in my spine. Only *3* sessions with him and at-home exercises FIXED it. No hospital; no drugs; no shots; no bullshit. (That was six years ago. Permanently cured!) * Swollen back of knee for no apparent reason; wanted to go to E.R., but saw Dr. Paul instead.
