I was at their indoor studio 2 weeks in a row. 1st is for Puppy Yoga and 2nd is for Goat Yoga. It was so much fun! I dont really do yoga coz it kinda messes up my knees which ia weird right i know! Anyway, being wifh the animals is such a stress relief and so good for my mental health. I did the Puppy Yoga alone and some friends joined me for Goat Yoga. Everyone was great and they even offer to take pictures for you! Ita 30 mins of yoga and 30 mins of playtime. I think if you havent tried this, you should at least once! So far, I have only tried puppy yoga here. It was a fun class, and the instructor did her best to give us directions on poses despite the little puppies running around and occasionally barking. But that was the point, right? I didn't think it was fair that one couple seemed to have treats on their towels, so many of the puppies kept going over there. However, the staff and volunteers from Second City Canine Rescue did their best to distribute the puppies so everyone could get equal play. The class time was 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of puppy play. The only suggestion I would have is that perhaps they discourage people from bringing their own treats so more people get to play with the puppies. Maybe it's just me, but I just thought that was a selfish move anyway, to try and get the puppies to stay by one area. If you are looking to relax and enjoy yoga and puppy time, this is definitely a unique experience. read more

We went for a goat hike for my daughter's birthday. It was an amazing experience! Sarah was our hike leader and goat pro. She was so kind and knowledgeable and the kids loved her as much as they loved the goats. The farm is lovely and has a very serene atmosphere. My daughter exclaimed "This was the best birthday EVER!" Her friends had a magical time as well. We are beyond happy to have visited and will come back for goat yoga in the summer. Please go have a hike with the goats! You won't regret it. read more

I dislike writing negative reviews but it has to be done at times. Foremost, I did not actually do goat yoga - this is a review of their policies. I understand that running a business is difficult and you have to have cancellation policies but to have zero leeway for illnesses is simply unacceptable especially within the health and fitness realm. I work with kids - I get randomly sick - I don't want to spread my illness & yet they have zero accommodations for this. I can give my ticket to someone else but I don't know anyone who could use it. I was planning on traveling over an hour each way to attend this class & if I enjoyed it would have possibly been a repeat customer but sadly I'll never be a customer at this point. I tried Goat yoga for the first time in August 2019. I had a fantastic time! I've only done yoga once before in my life so I was a little nervous before I got there. I assumed this was going to be equivalent to rolling around in dust and hay with petting zoo animals but I was completely wrong. As I pulled up and walked towards the studio I was pleasantly surprised by how inviting, clean, and beautiful the "farm" and yoga studio is. I was greeted by Danielle, who you can tell from the moment of meeting her, that she is genuinely passionate about what she does at Reverse the Kerr's. The yoga session was phenomenal and the goats were fun and engaging. we never felt rushed and there was so much time allowed to take pictures and play with the goat. After class we were provided with cool washclothes with essentially oils (an amazing touch btw). after my first experience I knew I wanted to bring my son here. My son has ADHD and is autistic so I was reluctant to ask. But in talking with Danielle, I found that she was the owner of Reverse the Kerr's and that kids of all kinds are welcomed especially those on the spectrum or with special needs. I went home and immediately signed my son and I up for a class today. The experience we had was incredibly. We laughed and played and even did a little yoga . Seeing my son interact with the goats really made my heart so full. He was completely in his element and made to feel comfortable. I'm so grateful for rare places like Reverse the Kerr's that create such a positive environment to exercise and meditate with these amazing animals. If there were season passes I know me and my son would be first in line. Looking forward to many more sessions. read more

It was a fun experience! The only downside is that I wish they provided mats for use during the class. The current policy is to bring your own mat or buy one for $10, which brings the total experience to about $50. Multiple mats get peed or pooped on, and the towels provided don't really help with the pee. read more

Our parent teacher organization booked a private goat yoga session at their South Barrington location for the faculty and staff during teacher appreciation week. What an enjoyable way to wind down after a long day in the classroom! We enjoyed 30 mins of yoga followed by many photo opportunities and even more laughs! We did a private yoga birthday party here for a group of 13 adults. It was totally awesome. The birthday girl described the experience as "the best day of her life" (she really likes goats). Everyone was super friendly throughout the process, and getting every scheduled and paid for was pleasant. On the day of, everyone was super polite, friendly, and helpful. The space is nice and the instructors were engaging and fun. I don't think it was the most challenging yoga in the world, but most of us aren't regular yogis so it was great for our crew. Upon our arrival we were ushered into the studio space, with a brief glimpse of some newborn goats in a little room on the way in. There were a few goats in the studio space as we got signed in and settled. Once we were all there ready to go several more goats came into the space and stayed for the yoga class. They were cute and hilarious throughout the class. There were a few poop incidents that were quickly swept up by our hosts. Afterwards we hung out, met some baby goats, did a little bottle feeding, and took soooo many pictures. The crew was totally cool with helping us get good goat shots. They provide mats, and I recommend taking advantage of their mats as the goats like to poop on everything. No sense in getting goat poop on your fancy yoga mat if you don't need to. All in all it was a really fun experience and well worth the roughly $40 per person that it ended up costing. Great times, great pics, great memories. If it's something you might be interested in, I'd highly recommend checking it out. Even those of us who aren't super into goats or yoga agreed that it was more fun than we'd expected and totally worthwhile, even though we had to drive an hour each way to get here. read more

Paid for my wife and daughter to take part in uncovered field in full sun. But then was told that I could not observe as this was a 'paid event'. So no photos of them together by me..this is ridiculously cheap of the people who charge $35 for a 12 year old and there is no legal or saftey reason for this. What a wonderful experience! Goat yoga is an amazing way to relieve your stress, get your exercise on, and have plenty of belly laughs with your friends. My class was with yoga instructor Danielle and she was WONDERFUL. She welcomed a newbie to yoga aka me with open arms. You can tell she loves the farm, goats, yoga, and the people she can impact on a daily basis through her classes. The studio inside is just as gorgeous as the views for the classes that are set outside. Obviously the best part of the class was the adorable goats. This was the BEST! A few girlfriends and I went to check out this funny new twist on yoga and it was worth every second! We couldn't stop giggling, smiling and boy were the pictures awesome to prove our good time. The entire team was professional and fun. The workout was great and run by a trained yogi. But let's be honest, the goats were by far the best thing. Their involvement during the entire session was so hilarious and so entertaining. I'm a sucker for a good photo op and there were a ton of worthy shots! Their cute little goat names and the way the team treats them like a true household pet, surely will make you want to move to the farm and get a goat. Ha!
