My friend and I shared our guide Abigail Lichens on Stormy with a mother on Sonny and daughter on Otto. I rode Nightlinger and my friend was on Mugshot. All of the horses were well cared for and really good looking horses. They had their own personalities; they like to snack and rub against trees and branches along the trail, even though we did our best to keep them from snacking and going off trail. There was a fallen tree on the trail that the horses navigated around fairly easily. Abigail informed the people at the corral about the fallen tree to have it cleared and filled us in about plants, wildlife, trees and the area. She was friendly and very helpful. Her first priority was safety. All of us had a fantastic time.

She first went over all safety procedures, how to mount, dismount and sit going up and down hills. Helmets were available along with saddle bags. Along the ride Kate was very friendly, professional and informative telling us about the area as we rode. Both our horses (Nash and Astro), were the perfect match for our riding skills. The ride through the area was beautiful with the mountains in the background. After our ride, we were greeted by Sophia who had cooked us a delicious lunch of steaks, corn or the cob, BBQ beans and a fresh salad. She had made a camp fire (it was a chilly day) which was nice to sit by. After lunch we sat by the fire and even enjoyed S'mores which Sophia had provided. We would highly recommend this trail ride especially with Kate, Sophia and of course Nash and Astro!!

Our trailer had an insane nice view of the lake and everything inside was sparkling clean. Stillwater landing had a live concert going on Friday evening and dinner was so amazing. The chef / owner was on site cooking and their service was amazing. Endless stars, amazing vibes, and a happy wife. I was all set. The next day we paddle boarded around the lake and on Sunday there was smoked salmon Benedict's and hot coffee, as well as a brunch concert. This place will take your breath away. Definitely coming back next weekend for more. Everything was on a whole other level.

There was absolutely nowhere for us to sit or even find a place where we could see the event. People were allowed to save entire rows and large sections of seating while paying guests were left with nowhere to go. We were told that the event had actually undersold by 300 tickets, but based on what we experienced, that was extremely hard to believe. If there truly were 300 fewer tickets sold than capacity, how were there still so many paying customers who couldn't find a place to sit or even watch the rodeo? To make matters worse, we also had to pay for parking on top of the cost of our tickets, only to leave without seeing a single minute of the event we paid to attend. After seeing other reviews, it's clear we were not the only ones who had this experience. There needs to be adequate seating and viewing space for the number of tickets sold, and allowing people to save entire rows while other paying customers have nowhere to sit is unacceptable. We paid for tickets, paid for parking, and left without seeing a single minute of the rodeo. Extremely disappointing and poorly organized. I cannot recommend this event unless the overcrowding and seating issues are addressed. I'm only giving one star because i have to.

This is such a nice dog park. There is a large open grassy space for play and a shaded area with…read morebenches to sit. There is a paved walk around the grassy area as well so dogs and pet parents alike can get their steps in. The park does have a very tiny "small dog area" if needed, but our small dog was happy out playing with the big boys. The days we visited were very warm and many of the dogs were enjoying a dip in the pond area. There is plenty of parking and restrooms and it seems like the park is still under construction and there will be more to come.

We went to the resort late July to hike so we purchased tickets for the lifts and alpine slide…read more The parking lot is quite big so there are plenty of parking spaces. The main building was empty except for a couple of employees selling tickets. I thought it could definitely use a refresh but we were not there for the lodge. We rode up 2 lifts to reach the top of Whitefish Mountain. There are two peaks you can take lifts up and we went to the higher peak for one if the longer hikes. Both lifts were easy to get on, getting off was a little sketchy as we had to quickly jump off and move several steps forward to avoid being hit by the lift. Thank goodness for the lift operator assisting people off the lift! I'm sure it's much easier to exit when skiing. The ride up was great. Such beautiful views! There is a small bar/restaurant at the top with amazing patio views and a restroom. We hiked down the Danny On Trail From the top. There are plenty of trail Markers so you cannot get lost. We did see a sign warning us of bear activity while hiking but we never actually saw any animal activity, not even a deer. A majority of the trail had beautiful views of Whitefish Lake. The lower part of the hiking trail was covered with dozens of people picking huckleberries so you just had to navigate around those groups. The hike took approximately 3 hours to reach the Alpine Slide area. You could ride the slide down or jump on the ski lift to go down. Whichever you purchased tickets to do. There are is also a separate trail for mountain bikers but we didn't cross those trails until closer to the Alpine slide area. We purchased tickets for the Alpine Slide so we jumped in line which went quickly. There are two slides to choose from. One slide is "fast" and the other is slower and more scenic. We chose the scenic as it was our first time on the slide. You can also choose the speed as you navigate down the slide. The slide drops you right off at the bottom of the resort so you can walk directly to the parking lot. I would definitely recommend the hiking and Alpine slide. It was very scenic and a wonderful experience.

I went inside to buy some pictures that this ski resort took of my wife and I and 10min later I came outside and my skis were stolen! Be careful! The ski resort said they could pull the security footage and after they made me wait 40min they said they actually didn't have cameras pointing to the ski racks so there was nothing they could do! Ridiculous. My rental skis were stolen and they did nothing to try and find who did it. They should 100% have security cameras pointing to the ski racks!

Great pricing for an hour of throwing and tons of boards and games to play to better your axe throwing! Also a lovely staff member (didn't quite catch his name!) gave some great tips on how to throw one arm, two arms, and the cool stars which I'd never thrown before! Will be coming back here on my trips to Whitefish :)
