Cheese sticks with marinara. Delicious.

If you are an Omaha native then it is highly probable that you have eaten at Godfathers Pizza. A little known fact, the creator of Godfathers, (he now owns Pitch) was the one who created the very FIRST Taco Pizza! Well done Sir! This is a chain restaurant but don't let that stop you they have such great pizzas and side items. Order the Taco Pizza!

Local Godfathers Pizza. This Franchise is struggling a bit. Finding good help must be a challenge. Pizza is good and usually hot.

Local Godfathers Pizza Franchise. They must struggle a bit. Pizza is good and usually hot, the restaurant is usually a bit dirty but the bathrooms are clean.

Pizza was delivered like this. Luke warm. Numnum

1.5 hours for a large thin crust?!? Yes, it was Friday night but it shouldn't take that long. Especially when it shows up like it did.

All of this for under $7

5 Thirty-One recently announced they have sold the business to a new owner, but I hope they keep…read morethe menu (at least my favorite items) on the menu and as high of quality! The ambiance is casual, yet a little upscale with the red, black, and white color palette. The party room on the side is a great place for an event or celebration (we had a Yelp event there). The Garlic Cheese Sticks starter is heavenly. Basically a little cheese pizza (but fancier cheese) with marinara on the side for dipping. So good! The Philly Fries are another starter that's delicious and it's huge, so could almost be an entree if you get it just for yourself. Huge chunks of Philly steak with a cream cheese drizzle (that I could drink in a cup). The salad bar is also great, if you want a lighter starter. I cover mine in their homemade ranch so it's definitely no longer "light" in my case! My favorite pizza is the Parm Alfredo, with an Alfredo base, tender chicken, and grilled broccoli. I know what you're thinking, "broccoli on a pizza?!" But just trust the process, it's amazing. The best Philly sandwich is the House Steak. Huge swaths of the Philly meat, green peppers, onions, provolone and the awesome Cheez Whiz! You can't go wrong getting this classic, with 531's twist on it. We met the original owners at a Yelp event we attended, and they were so nice and genuine and obviously cared so much about their food/product and pleasing their diners. I hope they have plans to stay in the restaurant business in Omaha, because I will support any new venture they have. I so am hoping the new owners don't change too much about the menu. I will give them a chance to see their vision, obviously, but hopefully a few of my faves remain!

The pineapple bacon drizzle almost caramelizes on the top, giving it a really unique taste. We recently moved to Gretna and have tried several pizza places around us, and this is our favorite so far by a long shot.

Does not look like a restaurant/brewpub from the outside. You will not stumble upon Heavy Brewing,…read morebut need to seek it out with intent among the other industrial buildings. Friday evening and the place was packed. Not really an appealing setup indoors, loud and rows of bare bones tables and chairs. The patio was very nice, if you are there on an evening the Nebraska weather allows the patio. We were, and enjoyed it. Beer was good. I had Red Ale and my companions sought "something like Blue Moon," which the bartender was able to recommend. Hot honey pepperoni pizza was very greasy but tasty. We saw a neighboring table use a napkin on top of the pizza before they ate, and we did that too. Service was friendly and fine, although the setup is a bit quirky. Food is separate from beer and ordering is done via a QR code, but you can order at the counter if you prefer. Would visit again, but not for a My Dinner With Andre conversation.

The beer! It's all about the beer! Heavy Brewing provides a great selection of beer. You are sure to find a style that you prefer. We have always found the beer to be perfectly cold and fresh. We prefer pale ales and (especially) Hazy IPAs. We love the pizza too. They have a fun selection. On this trip, we ordered The BDub which has hamburger, sausage, green peppers, and black olives. It was easy to drop the green peppers and add jalapeño on the ordering form. The pizza did not take long to prepare. It was hot, thin, crispy and delish! As for the setting, Heavy Brewing is very welcoming with plenty of seating. It's informal and set in an industrial building. It is kid friendly for sure, though there have been complaints in the past about kids running amok. The owners have addressed this and we appreciate it. Parents need to parent again.

Pizza Quest -- Episode 3: Built with Love…read more The campaign continues. Next stop: Piezon's Pizzeria a neighborhood stronghold with a robust menu that offers plenty of choices without feeling overwhelming. For this session, I picked up: One slice of the Oh Mio Dio One slice of the Mahalo with jalapeños The standout of the encounter was the Oh Mio Dio. The combination of fiery chicken and cream cheese landed exactly where I like my pizza builds to be--bringing the perfect balance of heat and coolness in every bite. The Mahalo took a different path. Built with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cream cheese, it already offers a unique take on a Hawaiian-style pizza. Adding jalapeños gave it just enough kick to complement the sweet and savory flavors without overwhelming them. I can see why it's my wife's favorite. The menu itself deserves credit. There's a lot to choose from, but it never feels complicated. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time visitor, finding your next slice feels straightforward. What stuck with me most, though, was the atmosphere. The walls are filled with stories and adventures drawn by kids, while pizza trays signed by Husker fans cover the space with messages and memories. Everywhere you look, there's evidence that people care about this place and that this place cares about its community. Heart 18 (+4) From children's drawings to signed pizza trays, the entire restaurant feels built on memories, traditions, and community. Wisdom 16 (+3) A menu with plenty of variety that remains easy to navigate and approachable for any adventuring party. Dexterity 17 (+3) The Oh Mio Dio balances heat and coolness with precision, while the jalapeños on the Mahalo add just the right amount of extra movement to the build. Primarily we felt the amount cheese on our pies was sparse. As a result toppings slid off the slices when picking them up to eat. Not sure it is worth the value.

Always on the lookout for delicious pizza, I ordered takeout from Timber Creek. Online ordering is…read moreeasy, and it was mid-afternoon, so turnaround time was pretty quick. Pizza was ready right on time, and the smell was great all the way home. Initially, I was disappointed in the side salad, as it came in a box approximately the size of a big Mac box. I paid $5 for this? But when I poured it into a standard cereal bowl at home, I had to level up because there was so.much.salad! And it was fresh, and delicious. Toppings on the pizza were generous, and it looked great. Cupping pepperoni can be a little spicy, and the sauce had a little spice as well, but was very good. I got the standard crust (vs thin crust), and maybe standard is the best thing I can say about it. It was meh. Not fluffy, not chewy, just better than frozen. Everything was cooked well though, and I applaud that. Lots of pepperoni, olives and maybe not quite as many mushrooms, but a fair amount. I'd go back, this time trying the thin crust. Timber Creek has a fair amount going for it -- and friendly staff to boot!

I liked the variety of unique pizzas on the menu, but when it came time to add the actual unique toppings, they fell short. I had the street corn pizza, and there couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chorizo on the entire pizza. Additionally, the sauce on top had a gross mayo-ish texture. If I were to return, I think I would play it safe and stick to the classics.
