Extremely overpriced pizza, "specials" are non customizable. When asked about any customization I was talked to extremely rude and was just told to talk to the manager... uhmm, how about you do your job. Was not allowed to put toppings on only half the pizza, told "Absolutely NOT!!!." Think maybe the salad bar is the savings grace? Nope. The salad was warm and the toppings were old and stale. Plus they don't give you a plate for a side salad, they will give you a styrofoam clamshell burger holder and said you can't get more then this, we will be watching. Soo...Godfather's Pizza has been mentioned as a BOMB place to get pizza. From my understanding, Godfather's Pizza is a national chain, but this particular location is actually Black-owned. I finally was able to try out this establishment, as I was in the Humble area. I arrived around 1pm and there was no line! It was a perfect time to show up. I decided to get a small meat lover's hand-tossed and an order of the Monkey bread. It only took about 15 minutes for them to prepare everything. I opted to wait until I got home to dive in (45 minute drive). When I arrived at home, the pizza was actually still warm. The pizza is delicious!!! I highly recommend! They are not skimping on the cheese or the toppings. Everything was bountiful! 6 slices come in the small FYI. The Monkey Bread was also good, but definitely not a fave. I will plan to order the cheese sticks the next time I order from them! I'm not sure when that will be because I am 45 minutes away, but I will say the drive would definitely be worth it for some good quality pie. The prices are a bit higher than what I am accustomed to, but I was NOT mad due to the goodness of everything. read more

Godfather's pizza the worst costumer service ever. From the employees to the owner yes the owner I actually met the owner or owner/operator. I visited the pizzeria 30 mins before closing looking at the menu on the board and he rushed me out saying the store closes in 10 minutes. Im not gonna go in deep details on what happened after that, but I can tell this guy is going through something that's been bothering him. I find it harder and harder to continue buying pizza from them. Don't get me wrong, they get one star as their pizza is pretty darn good. Their problem lies in the following. 1. You can't order a couple of pies to "feed the gang" for less than a small fortune. For that price, I'll get more from Johnny Sortino's or any other pizza parlor in town. 2. Specials. They're essentially non-existent. While the buffet is reasonable, it isn't the same type or quality of pizza you get from take out or delivery. 3. Don't ever need to call and place an order. It's not that it's hard to find someone to speak English, it's just hard to get English speaking employees to understand English. Employee competence simply isn't there. She then asked me if l was picking up or trying to order.l said order she then informed me that they could not make any more pizza's when they have run out of food. My question is how can you run a pizzeria and not have enough supplies for the clientele. I am very disappointed in the way the employee handled the conversation. 1. Being rude to me the customer 2. I love this pizza! The cashier was kind of curt but I just ignored her because I didn't want any hold ups with my food. I will go back.

I called in my order and it was ready and hot. Once I got home, the pizza was so delicious and the wings were great as well.

Update: went today and service has went downhill fast. The girls working there don't have a clue. They didn't cut our pizza all the way through and she's gonna tell me it's only because it's hot. My husband literally had to re cut it with a plastic fork. Another girl was standing there warming her hands on the pizza warmer the whole time we were there. The place was in disarray and messy needless to say we won't be back. Get the old workers who used to work there back because the girls are space cadets!!! read more

Great little location. Brought the kids to order a pizza and discovered that they also have a lunch buffet. Pizza is very good and it includes a salad bar. Salad bar is not that big but has the essentials to make a good salad. The pizza buffet might seem empty when you first arrive. But they'll start bringing them out hot and fresh. read more

Why ruin a good tasting food with horrible customer service? From placing my order to picking up the order was terrible. The older lady at the front need a quick lesson in customer service. My advice is to be courteous to customers especially when they greet you in kind. I am one for giving second chances, but I will not be visiting this specific location any time soon. This has nothing to do with Covid just poor customer service. So we have now tried to order twice. First time they were out of dough ....wait what? Second time two weeks later. I called the person answered the phone and just said hello. Didn't identify place or self. She was very very rude!!! I said I wanted to order for take out and in an awful voice said "we close at 8:00 so you have to be there by then!" It was 7:10 .... I said yes that is why I am calling now??? Weird. Then I started to order and proceeded to say what I wanted which was 1/2 & 1/2 she was in her whiny voice and sighing said " we can't do 1/2 & 1/2 wait..what??? So I hung up to figure things out and then proceeded to call back to which it kept going to voicemail which was full of course! Finally a guy answered he actually said Godfather's whoa that was a plus but sadly he was equally unenthusiastic. He took the order and then dryly told me the price and said it will be ready in 40 minutes - no thank you wow. They may need to review their phone calls if they have recorded lines to address customer service and if no revised lines times to get them for quality assurance. I originally came to visit Godfather's Pizza Humble because of all the positive feedback from this group alone. It's a 30 minute drive from my house but based on the reviews, I felt like it would be worth the drive. I ordered my pizza (Jumbo, All-Meat Combo) at 12:47pm after the cashier told me it would be a 30-45 min wait. I was cool with that. It's been almost 2 hours now and I'm still waiting on my 1 pizza. People that have placed orders after me with more food, have gone and left with a minimum of a 1 hour wait. I've asked repeatedly what's happening and no one has been able to give me a clear answer. At this point, I don't care how good the pizza tastes, the customer service is trash and the worst I've ever experienced! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. read more

Great pizza. The dough and crust make the pizza. Toppings are good and usually generous. Cheese is above average, not spectacular, but good. The lunch buffet is a good value. Nice selection and the staff will take requests if they aren't too extreme. That said, when 2pm comes around, the buffet is closed no and ifs or buts. They are also quick to charge you for a to-go drink if you dined in. I understand about maximum profit, but that is just poor customer service experience. Would be nice to be comped a cup off the soda fountain when I just dropped $40 on pizza for the family. read more

I came here with my gf and our daughter. My gf had talked about this place for weeks before we came. She read somewhere that it was one if not the only godfather pizza franchises In Houston that Happened to be black/minority owned and she wanted to come and support. When We arrived my gf and daughter walked in my gf has a medical condition so she doesn't always have her mask and she has a medical band given to her by her doctor which allows her to not have to always wear her face mask. The older black lady and older black male angrily yelled at her that she would have to leave she could not be in there without a mask. She asked could she just pay for her food and leave the lady replied no you need to leave now. My girlfriend simply replied ok and I told her that I would grab the food just head back to the car. I waited in line and a younger black lady assisted me she was nice she said my order would be ready in 5 minutes and I could come back then. When I returned the same older black lady who was disgruntle with my gf asked me rudely can I help you. I replied yes ma'am I was just trying to pick up my pizza the girl said it would be 5 minutes. Then the young girl who helped me before came and remembered and told the lady I had a order and the older lady threw up her hands and said ok whatever. As I was checking out I used my gf card to pay for food the older lady said they don't take credit just debit I then called my gf to get the pin. After the payment was processed the older rude lady rudely said to me thank you for doing business with us. You done in a snarky tone she didn't give me a receipt or nothing. I didn't argue with the lady or nothing I simply told my gf we would not be coming back. When my gf went in to see what was the issue. The lady just kept yelling good bye repeatedly while customers were there. That's not how you do business that's not how you treat customers. Even if the pizza was bad good customer service always win. Not a great first experience here and we won't be returning. It's not often we go out for pizza, but when we do, we'd like to get what we order. The lady taking our order was completely distracted and had to ask us twice what toppings we had said. Bacon, onion, and jalapeño- the same pizza we've been ordering for almost 20 years. We got the salad bar as well which was a joke and the lettuce was brown and gross, so we were really ready for a good pizza! Shows up at our table and we immediately realize it's not bacon. I take a piece of the meat and realize it's sausage...not at all what we want. Long story short, my husband takes the pizza back up to show them we didn't get what we ordered- and instead of correcting the mistake the lady argued with him and said we ordered beef! (1) does anyone order beef? Isn't usually hamburger? And (2) this was definitely sausage and not beef. He politely tried to tell her that we most definitely ordered bacon and that she was a bit distracted taking our order. She got out the order slip and showed him the "B" - Ummmm which apparently means beef and not bacon. They didn't offer to rectify the situation and we didn't want spit on our next pizza so didn't continue to push the issue. It's a shame because I think it probably would have been good pizza had it been what we ordered. But poor customer service is the #1 reason I will or will not return to an establishment. read more

It was my first time dining here, and immediately we were greeted, and offered their family deals. The cashier was extremely nice offering her recommendations. We grabbed our drinks, and picked a table. The pizzas came out hot and fresh, the ingredients were good, the wings were good.
