I came in hurting and feeling super discouraged by the pain and poor posture from my pain. The treatment I received was a medical massage it's intense... like it hurts but you know your body needs it. Just breathe and focus on healing the parts of your body that are stuck. I've been to this dude before and got a legit massage and even left a review here when he asked me to. I do remember getting a tiny vibe last time but it had been at least a year - so when he texted and told me about the Whittier location and I had just thrown out my back I returned to get it worked out. 1) I don't think he is licensed to do the chiropractic adjustments he is doing . Otherwise the sign would say "chiropractor". He adjusted my neck using the quick side jerk that I know can cause death if not performed correctly. Eek. I lived, and wouldn't let him shear my spine off in the other direction once it was over. 2) I have been to him before and gotten G rated massage, and in fact, the beginning of this massage was great. The five stars here aren't wrong. He really got into some tough knots I had and I do feel better. But... 3) This guy is for sure some flavor of perv. Like the other poster, he pulled my underwear DOWN instead of up to work on my hips Buttvision as far as the eye could see. Then he turned me over like normal massage therapists do, asked if I would be comfortable having my chest and belly massaged. I said chest only (indicating my clavicles/pecs) because I had had abdominal surgery. He asked to see my abdominal scar, pulling the drape down so my boobs were out in the bright fluorescents. Next was the rarely employed mammary massage. Staring at the front of shoulder, pecs, but quickly honing in on some soft tissue work? Lots of oil and just cupping my boobs. I was trying hard not to laugh, and was just waiting to see what he would do next. Luckily, aside from some neck massage using a light front chokehold, technique that was the end of it. When I was getting dressed I looked everywhere around the room for a camera. Seriously if you see me in a video let me know I was not afraid of him - he is tiny and I think he is just one of those sneaky pervs. The kind that wear mirrors on their shoes? I went today for the first time and I have to say, if I could give him 10 stars I would! I have scoliosis and my left leg and hip have always bothered me. Haven't written a review in years, but Adam is absolutely THE BEST. I've suffer from constant pain (head to toe) my neck is one of the areas that I would consider the worse. It's been over 3 weeks and no joke-- my neck is barley cracking( it normally cracks constantly). Generally after a massage, I feel good for the night, following day all tension comes back. If you like the deep massage, this place is for you! He worked on my knots and my pain... and incorporated stretch, some kind of alignment and a little relaxing massage. My back felt better afterwards although the pain wasn't completely gone. I want to start off by saying I had GREAT experience! I have gotten a number of massages before but this was my first time getting a medical massage done. I found him through my insurance which he accepts! I have Lupus and Pulmonary Fibrosis so I have a lot of joint pain, muscle pain and inflammation. Adam was super professional with me, very kind and for the first time ever someone really explained the issues with my back. He pointed out the knots that I had, how he was going to get rid of them and what was causing them and my pain. First time here today and I swear it was the BEST I've ever experienced. He accommodated my time change request at the last minute and very professional about it. I didn't know what I was walking into, so he walked me through what to expect and which treatment he would recommend based on my problems. He checked my entire body for problem areas, then he recommended the medical massage. I went with what he recommended and I'm glad I did. Back ( lower ) was on a spasm. Adam did a medical massage that also incorporated hot stones. Went on a Friday and and 4 days later for treatment. The spasm subsided a lot after first treatment, but, after second treatment, the pain is gone. He also includes stretching and lite Chiropractic moves that adjusted my back. My neck used to always hurt because of a car accident I was in. It always cracked and was super stiff. I got massages and acupuncture but they were either a complete miss or only helped temporarily. This was the first time that my neck didn't crack anymore. Even if I tried to crack it!! I was in a lot of pain the following morning but realizing that then I would be significantly less in pain it's worth it. I should've looked up what consists during a lymphatic drainage massage because I didn't know that the breasts were massaged in that kind of way.
