Should have done this review 3 months ago! How do I explain just how impressed I am with Gofer It! without writing a long essay? I work for a mobility company in Canada that assists airlines all over North America and abroad when mobility equipment is damaged or delayed. An airline called us on July 4th, Independence Day when a knee walker was damaged. It took many hours & phone calls to locate a mobility store that would let us rent one, however they could not deliver it. A courier we have used before was not able to assist, and a couple other places could not do it quickly or were charging huge rates. I used Yelp to find the highest rated courier & Gofer It! had excellent reviews, so I called them and spoke with Martha. Martha was very kind & courteous & confirmed they could assist with delivery. She walked me through creating an account so we could order deliveries online, however because our credit card is tied to a Canadian address (even though we also have a US office) the website would not process our credit card and allow us to create the account. Martha understood that this was an emergency & advised she could have someone sort it out. Noah, the owner of the company called and he was able to approve our credit card so we could order the delivery. What's amazing is that Noah was on vacation with his family in FRANCE and still took the time to help us out. Nowhere have I ever experienced that kind of service. Everything is automated so there is no guessing. You can get a quote, pickup and delivery confirmation as well as a receipt all by email. I wish they were located all across the US, but at least we know they're there if we need them in the cities they service. Many of our mobility stores will deliver equipment, so we don't have the need to use them often, but they would be my first recommendation. I experienced Gofer It! for the first time today, and their amazing customer service has had quite an impact on me. I work in retail, and found myself in a tough situation today when trying to get a package delivered to a customer. Our go- to delivery service fell through for us, and essentially refused to deliver a package, claiming that the address I'd given was invalid/ unreachable (not true, I easily located it on a map myself). After a quick search online, I found Gofer It!, and gave them a call to find out if my request was unreasonable. From the moment that the phone was answered, to the very end of the call, Noah was nothing but excellent. He talked me through the steps of setting up an account with ease, and tolerated my (I can only assume) somewhat-panicked intonation with outstanding patience. Communication was top- notch throughout the whole process, and I cannot stress enough how enlightened I felt when ending the call, knowing that humanity still exists in the workplace (no matter how rarely). The package was delivered quickly, without incident, and was even at a cheaper rate than what our usual service had quoted us! This amazing team saved a sale for me today; the least I can do is to show my gratitude with a 5-star review. They're more than deserving of it. read more

Recently, I found myself in need of a reasonably priced and reliable courier service. After contacting and reviewing a number of businesses in the area, I came across Gofer It and that was it. I found what I was looking for!! Not only is ordering easy, efficient and economical (especially in these tough financial times), the owner Noah is a pleasure to work with and his courier service beyond professional and dependable. This was very important to me as I was delivering items to a person and business I absolutely do NOT trust and needed verifiable proof of items being delivered along with dates/times of delivery. The best way I can describe how professional, reliable, and all-around fantastic Gofer It Delivery has been since our company started using them is to say that you shouldn't bother using any other messenger service in Southern California. The pick ups and deliveries that we have scheduled - and there have been many, up to 4 or 5 a day every day during holiday season - are completed almost always AHEAD of the promised time. When Gofer It was experiencing a high volume of orders, we received an email or phone call from Noah to let us know the status of our messenger and follow up calls with additional information. I love the service provided by these guys. Need to relocate from Santa Monica to San Diego and have around ten pieces of luggages to deal with. Driving a few times back and forth is not the ideal whilst uhaul is not the preferred solution for me either. Then find this entity and the cost they quoted is just higher than all inclusive cost that I envisaged for other solutions. Engage them for the service and follow up is efficient. On date of delivery, the cargo van driven by a gentleman, in name of "run" arrived on time. Run is excellent and friendly and have my stuff delivered to my new apartment without trouble. It's been a while since I needed a messenger service. I used to use them all the time, but the internet has cut down my delivery needs to almost nothing and I let my subscription to my messenger service lapse. That said, sometimes you NEED to have a package messengered and today was that day. I couldn't be happier with the service Gofer It! delivered. I loved the online process. I loved the speed in which they got to my home office. I loved the speed in which they delivered the package. I loved the email confirmation I received when my package was picked up. Wow, so convenient! My day was too busy to do it on my own.... and the cost didn't even compare to the cost of my time! What a savings! I bought something online from best buy and selected in store pick up, then just sent Gofer it! to pick it up and bring it to me. Will try this with Albertsons next when I can't get groceries on my own. They have online order/in store pick up too. The package arrived in perfect condition, delivery guy was running! Super fast and reliable courier service. I work 45 miles from where I live and, unfortunately, forgot to bring my wallet with me to work this morning -- no driver's license, no cash, no credit cards -- nada. I didn't discover the wallet was missing until I stopped for gas and was unable to pay. Gofer It! to the rescue! They swung by my house, picked up my wallet (that my partner placed in an envelope) and delivered it to me at work -- all of this occurred within two hours of having called them for help. I live in Australia and found USPS and FEDEX a nightmare to just organise ground shipment from Lynwood to Longbeach CA and charged me a bomb! Everyone I dealt with at Gofer It! was extremely attentive and helpful. I am an attorney in San Diego and needed to serve documents on opposing counsel same day. They were obviously experienced in serving documents and had no problem taking my order in a couple of minutes. First time order went PERFECT! Called Sunday to inquire about Mon AM delivery, no problem. Created account & scheduled service Sunday night for 7am Mon pickup for direct shot from Pasadena to Irvine. Needed to be there by 10:30am. Delivered by 9:30am. Security cams captured the pickup at 6:30am on porch. GREAT email updates on the status of the order.
