Total rip off. Products I purchased were not what was sampled. High pressure sales person. Some jars seemed to have been opened. YUCK

This place is inside Gaylord Opryland Hotel/…read more The Opryland Hotel, now known as the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, is a renowned 4-star resort in Nashville, Tennessee. It is known for its impressive nine acres of indoor gardens and waterfalls housed within glass atriums. The resort boasts a wide range of amenities including a full-service spa (Relâche Spa), several swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a water park called SoundWaves, a fitness center, and a golf course. The Spa is ok and offer lots of services with a few skin care lines but my personal favorite is " Emminence Organic skin care" and this is one of the only locations close to me. I didn't have any services done yet in this spa I normally go to a different one but they have good product and you are an Elite Marriott member you can get 10% discount in the product you just need your EMN.

The only reason this review isn't a one-star is because of the actual massage service--which was…read morefantastic. My therapist was attentive, checked in frequently, and clearly cared about my comfort and the quality of the treatment. That's the one highlight. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience left a lot to be desired. I called in advance because I had a full day to unwind and wanted to make sure the spa had enough to offer. I was told they had a steam room, sauna, eucalyptus room, hot tub, and more--all within the spa area. That either wasn't accurate or was a major overstatement. * The showers were not functioning properly--both knobs were broken and temperature control was impossible. * Towels were tossed everywhere, with no organization or cleanliness upkeep. * What was described as "ice towels" in front of the sauna were bone dry and room temp at best. * No sign of a hot tub or any inviting relaxation areas. * The water station was underwhelming, with no cold or infused water options. Wanting to settle in and make the most of the day, I asked if I could purchase a drink--maybe a glass of wine or champagne--but was told I couldn't have any alcohol before my massage, and that no drinks were allowed. Odd, but I respected the policy. However, after the treatment, I was told I'd receive a complimentary glass of champagne--what I received was a literal sip, maybe an ounce at most. When I politely asked if that was the full serving, I was met with rude and condescending commentary that made me feel embarrassed for even asking. To be blunt: the front desk staff and support team were the biggest letdown. From the moment I arrived to when I left, they were either dismissive or cold, which does not align with the kind of experience expected at a spa with this reputation and price point. If you're booking solely for the massage, it might be worth it--but if you're looking for a relaxing, welcoming, full-day spa experience, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This was a major disappointment.

The robe was a great feature but my only complaint would be that I wish the locker room had double doors to have more privacy.

We were first led to the locker room, where robes and sandals (in the sizes we provided over the phone) were waiting for us. From there, we headed to a serene waiting room to complete paperwork. A staff member brought out warming neck pads, which was such a nice touch, and I also noticed a small refreshment area in the corner, which felt very thoughtful. My Vichy shower and scrub were amazing. I instantly felt comfortable with the provider, who did a fantastic job. The massage portion with the scrub was heavenly, the water was perfectly hot and I left feeling completely relaxed. My mom said her massage therapist was gentle, attentive, and made her feel very much at ease. The pressure was just right for her, and she left feeling absolutely spoiled. The front desk associate was also incredibly kind and even offered us both 10% off as first-time guests. Overall, the service was wonderful, pricing was standard for the area, and we'll definitely be back!

I will definitely be visiting again

I found myself booking at Massage Luxe because I was gifted a Spa Finder gift card for my birthday,…read moreand Massage Luxe was one of the few Nashville spas listed. I saw it was in the capitol view area which I like and figured it might have a system/vibe similar to the Massage Envy chain but a smidge nicer. (and I was right) My massage therapist was nice and a decent massager. She did check in on pressure level and how I was doing. I did have to wait a little prior to, and the appointment didn't seem long or like my full time allotted, even considering the prep/brief undressing period. The time I sat waiting still seemed to take up more than needed with a shorter actual massage time. The therapist covered pretty much all areas though and doesn't usually work on a Sunday but had come in for one of her other steady clients. After my massage I was invited by the staff to try the hydro therapy bed which is like getting massage with shooting water. This was complimentary probably bc was my very 1st visit. They don't really limit you on the time you spend in there or didn't seem so but also don't go crazy. I really enjoyed my 15 minutes!! It was a cool experience, and I could've even been good with 10 minutes. You control the intensity and speed. And no you don't get wet at all. I had never heard of that and would recommend it or use the machine again. This alone added a star or half star to my rating. Overall I got the decent experience I expected. Didn't have super high expectations - was just grateful for a massage; I am still a fan of Escape but if you need a monthly in and out more affordable setup, consider Massage Luxe. They do offer a discount for your very first service. Parking in the garage by Publix is easy & accessible. Brief walk to the spa.
