Burnt, inedible burger. I asked for medium-well.

Disgusting food received from Goldmine on 4/15/2024. The burger was burnt beyond (I asked for medium-well) and I asked for homefries instead of French fries. This place has gotten significantly worse over the last year with their food orders via delivery. The last few times I have ordered, they sent me more than one wrong item. This time (4/15/2024), they did the same thing - left out 2 sets of homefries that I ordered and sent me a blackened, burnt burger when I asked for medium-well. When I called to complain, I was put on hold for 5+ minutes, so I think they forgot about me. When I called back, the owner who had an attitude, initially told me that he didn't see my delivery. After I explained again that it was via Seamless, he then rudely rattled something about when they get an order, it doesn't show that it's coming from a food app. In any case, he miraculously found my order. When I complained about all the things done wrong, the man actually acted as if the errors were my fault - as if I was personally on the grill messing everything up. I ended up hanging up on him because try to get him to understand that he ruined my order was becoming a moot point. This is a place I have patronized for more than 15 years. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Wish zero stars was an option.

Grabbed a BLT and fries while I was running an errand on Monday. Great diner, loved the artwork on the walls. Sever was nice checking if I wanted refill of coffee or water.

I ordered meatloaf with lots of gravy on my meat but the gravy was not on the meat and it become water gravy due to the poor drainage of my broccoli. Disappointed.

Do you mine for gold? Sustaining a substantial breakfast is gold. In scanning their menu + the limitation on time available, I elect the quickest items: toast with butter and hot green tea $2.40. Gold Mine Cafe is an old fashioned diner open 24/7 for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving Marble Hill, Bronx community. The menu offers a lot of options which breakfast can be served at 11 PM in the late evening. Waffles at 11 PM? Hellz yeah! Family friendly diner therefore no alcohol which equate to no trouble, no spats, no bar brawl incurs here. Minimal seating of booths and tables in a diner setting. Price is moderate. Atmospheric conditions of furniture and interior appears very dated to 1950s. Service is attentive, very efficient as all staff members checked on me three times if I was served or my order was in progress. Business card is a magnet.

Good food. Convenient and clean. Came here with my best Freind for his bday lunch. He was happy, that mattered to me the most.

This here is more of a diner than a cafe. It's actually one of the best in the neighborhood. I perfer to go to this one then all the rest. I do think they should do an upgrade of the place, being that we have so many new up coming restaurants, and all the old ones are getting new renovations, I think they definitely need to get one too. Might I add that this place has the best and cleanest bathroom, compared to all the diners I've been too. Now the food, its good for breakfast, brunch, and dinner too. The deserts they offer are a plus. I had a piece of their cannoli cake, and boy did that make my tummy happy. The prices are your typical diner prices, and N.Y., seems to be getting more expensive by the second, my opinion. This is not a hugh place, either has about maybe 6 or 7 booths, and an area to sit at, where you can see them cooking. The people here are nice, they only have about two waitress to take your order, bring you your coffee, and food. Very small place, maybe that why they choose to call it a cafe, but its definitely a gold mine, a small lil gem. Heres a tip too, if you staying pay cash, because they charge you 50 cents extra for using it, and they don't add a lil area where you can add a tip. I was sad that I couldn't tip the lady who waited on us, because I don't carry much cash anymore. I mean really who does, lol. If your in the area stop by, I recommend it.

Newly renovated, friendly staff, good food for any part of the day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert, and the best thing, they serve all kinda of food at any time. Breakfast for dinner = Win :). Limited space for seating, but worth it. A great late night food spot as well. Not to mention it won't break your pockets either... Try it of you haven't already.

They refused to accept this bill, and were rude + dismissive about it. Gave me egg cream free and hurried me out the door.

Came here for brunch with a friend. While waiting, I sipped on a Cinnamon Maple Latte, which was bold and strong, as well as heavy on the cinnamon, but could have used more maple and sweetness. My friend and I shared the Bread and Cornbread Basket, served warm with raspberry preserve jam and butter. The Bread was perfectly baked, fluffy, and well seasoned. Cornbread was glazed, giving it a slightly sweet taste, as well as crumbly in a good way. The butter made the breads richer, while the raspberry jam added a nice layer of flavor. For my meal, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, adding Truffle Fries, which were an additional $5. This also came with a small side salad topped with radishes. The Steak was tender, wonderfully juicy, and flavorful. Eggs were cooked over hard, just how I like them and made expertly. Truffle fries had a generous sprinkling of Parmesan and were delightfully crispy, with strong truffle yumminess. Salad gave a fresh element to the dish. Service was lovely. Our waitress was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were decent. I would consider returning for dinner to try the Short Rib or Brisket Mac & Cheese.

This place is a family favorite…read more Their wings are also a must get every time. We always take guests here and recommend to friends

This place is incredibly easy to miss unless you're intentionally looking for it. I've gone past it…read moreso many times without a clue this establishment was even there. I loved the ambiance of the place, it was so cozy, warm and relaxing. The music they were playing matched perfectly with the vibe and aesthetics of the place, it was soft and romantic in a way. There are plenty of tables available for groups or solo dates. This is a perfect place to sit down and journal or get some work done. I literally only waited 10 minutes from start to finish to get my takeout, I sat down on one of the available tables and immediately started reading my Bible app, truly relaxing. Half of the tablets were occupied but everyone appeared to be relaxed and just enjoying their meals so the noise level was low. If you're waiting for takeout they give you a ticket and then bring your takeout to the table you're at. If you ordered in advance for a pick up you just walk to the counter and they hand over your food. The staff were friendly and graceful. While I was ordering my food at the counter, I was able to see the staff handling some of the food. They were plating, and I was pleasantly surprised with the fact that all of them were wearing gloves even while they were taking the prepared food to the tables. You get 5% off your bill if you pay with cash. There are no atms inside. Now let's talk about the actual food, the star of the show. I ordered the claypot braised pork belly and I was notttt disappointed! This meal was such a unique experience. I am used to eating very flavorful and well seasoned dishes overall so I've tasted plenty of dishes that had more flavor than this. However, I have never enjoyed a dish that was so intentional with all of its textures and tastes. The rice was soft and light, and the vegetables had the perfect amount of crunch and spice, while the pork had a mild sweetness to it. The egg was a perfect add on to put it all together. This is the kind of plate that you have to truly eat everything it's served with to fully enjoy all of the different textures and flavors that it brings. If any of the spices or flavors would've been overwhelming, it would take away from the other flavors every item on the plate has to offer. I put a little of everything with each bite, yummm. The only flaw with the dish unfortunately is that the larger portions of the pork were chewy and a bit dry, which based on other reviews seems to be a thing. The smaller pieces were very tender and delicious. I will definitely order again from here. I'm excited to try their homemade soda, coffees and their summer/spring roles Happy yelping and enjoy
