I was feeling under the weather and decided to try the lentil soup at Healthy Fresh. They have two locations but I went to the one on Morris Park Avenue. Super clean inside and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. My lentil soup tasted amazing and definitely hit the spot. Their menu has something for everyone. The most disrespectful place I have ever been. One of the lady that takes the order treats people with a lot of disrespect. She is very mean and treats all the employees very badly as well . I just told on of the girls (please if it is possible put the Leeds better on the cup) becouse it happened last time that the cup got opened from that. I don't know what is her position there , a manager or what but she is very disrespectful. She didn't know that I speak Hispanic and start offending me and telling the lady to get me out, she turn on the side and didn't have the encourage even to talk to me but just pushing her employee to look bad . The wraps are WAY too small now. I used to eat them before and they weren't that little, I don't think this is fair for the customers and for what we pay. They even invested in a box that fits the exact measurement of the wrap which means they will not change this anytime soon. read more

Not that this is actually a "five star restaurant"... it's hardly a restaurant, more of a deli. There is seating though, about 5 tables against the wall opposite the deli counter, each with 2 seats. I can't think of many times when I would think of a deli as deserving of 5 stars, but their service behind the counter today put my experience over the top, and the food was above par. I got a Turkey Club Panini with a side salad. The fellow taking the order asked if I wanted chips or side salad... I asked if the salad has cucumbers. "Yes, it has cucumbers, lettuce, pepper--" I cut him off and said "Chips are fine." He goes, "Well, if you don't like cucumbers, I'll make you a salad from scratch without them." PERFECT ANSWER! I got a Snapple, the bill came to a little over $12, and the cashier told me that I was entitled to a free soda or water. The food was totally fresh and yummy. The only advice I can give management, if they want to be more than perfect, is the following: - have the person taking the order notify the customer when the meal they're ordering entitles them to a free soda. This way they don't feel like they wasted money on the Snapple. - have someone clean the wall adjacent to the tables at least once, daily. The place practically screams with lime green and orange wall colors from top to bottom and thought it was quirky- with an upbeat touch. Skipped their "Seafood" and hard-boiled egg Protein for my Salad and went straight for the provided 3-Veggie Toppings- (and one more on the house to replace the Protein) and 3 others for 50¢ each. While Mom enjoyed her chicken Quesadilla with complimentary Potato Chips. In my perfect world, a plus would be to offer Salmon chunks- instead of canned tuna for Salads. But hey...it's a one-stop healthy eatery for all other things- like Smoothies, Natural Juices, Paninis and Wraps. Service was very pleasant and bopped to some Phil Collins/Phillip Bailey's 'Easy Lover' and Mellencamp/Me'Shell Ndegeocello's 'Wild Night'- while Mom and me noshed. The lowdown? For the past 2 weeks I've been eating salads and felt like I shredded a few centimeters (hahaha) point being is that today I felt like eating pretty healthy (continuing the Regimen) so instead of eating another salad I decided to swing in a grab a bite (something different). I'm just impressed of all the different sort of healthy eating and juicy selection they make FRESH! right in front of you, from kale ginger juice ect ... to grilled chicken panini and salads with all the extras you can add. If your looking to go vegan or for juice dieting this is definitely the place to order from. Most of all we all know how expensive eating healthy is and I gotta say the prices in here are moderate, good for my pockets. I ordered a Tuscan panini sandwich (I know BREAD!!! It's wheat tho Ugh) with mozz cheese, Spanish and my favorite sundry tomatoes and it comes with chips on the side (would I eat the chips too?!?!?! Hell yes) for only 8 bucks and change. Fresh ingredients and fast service made my day after a gym session with my girlfriend. I try to grab something substantial right after every workout so I'm not starved and shaking. I believe they only accept cash but the convenience store next door has an ATM so no biggie although, you'd probably prefer to just have the cash on you. The adjacent store is not the cleanest. They offer made to order salads, smoothies, breakfast items and juices. I LOVE Healthy Fresh and literally order from them atleast twice a week. About $23 per order meaning almost $200 a month. With that many orders, I'm really sad that they took the vegetable delight wrap off the menu. It was the perfect vegetarian option and I've been ordering it for years and never get tired of it. Too many places aim to offer vegan options but forget that vegetarians don't always want to eat vegan food. I want cheese! When other places make vegetarian wraps, it's often bland or they mix too many vegetables that don't go together and it's usually a sloppy wrap. This was the perfect wrap. As for the vegan wraps, I love the creativity. Summer is a pretty good wrap. It could be a little dry though since it uses hummus, but overall a good wrap. April is delicious. I was ordering that for a while but started making it at home to save some money. I was ordering it almost every day for a bit I wasn't a fan of the Blazing wrap at all. I didn't think I would be, but wanted to try it anyway. I don't really like the pairing and choice of chipotle sauce. I prefer my wraps with vinegar - yet another reason I love the vegetable delight wrap and they should keep it on the menu. I didn't try Kaiser because it seems similar to Blazing. The chocolate peanut butter protein shake is soooooo good. It's so good that I'm suspicious and wonder if they're putting sugar or using condensed milk, which would take away from the health value of it. To be safe, I started ordering the D3 green juice. It has a really nice balance of fruits and veggies and when I feel like I haven't had enough servings of fruits and veggies for the day, it feels good to drink them! My only issue with it is that sometimes it isn't blended enough and I'm really not a fan of chewing my juice My final note about the menu change - I can't understand why they took the vegetable delight wrap off the menu. It doesn't contain anything that isn't used in other dishes - mushrooms, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella and spinach are always in the salad bar so why remove it? When I ordered today, the girl on the phone was willing to make my order but I prefer ordering on seamless because I don't like to use my card over the phone and delivery takes longer. After searching for something healthy I came upon this restaurant through UberEats and based on the yelp reviews I decided to give them a try. I played it safe & ordered a tuna melt panini. I must say it definitely had that healthy taste but still pretty decent and It came with a side of chips. The only critique I have is that the tuna is very wet like it's not fully drained properly. Every time I took a bite the water from the tuna would drain out from the panini and eventually soaked the chips. I prefer my tuna to be fully drained so that I can enjoy the taste of the mayo lettuce & tomato but like I said that's just my preference. We used to go to Healthy Fresh shop physically when it first opened and I remember their smoothie menu is huge especially protein shakes very really good. Lately we are not going there but have been ordering delivery a lot, I forgot to leave a review eventhough my experience is pleasant with them. We usualy make our own salad- spinach base couple vegetables, cheese and protein with some toppings. Salad is really fresh and tasty . What I really like is that delivery person is on time and usually very kind and bring the order to our apartment door even. Only thing is that one time we tried their empanada but I didnt like the cheese empanada a lot , the cheese was not tasty at all, but the chicken empanada was okay. Finally made it here. I have walked passed a thousand times. They are definitely deserving of all the 5 star reviews. The place is spotless n everything is right in front of you. If your desired fruit/vegetable combination is not listed on their menu they will gladly make the one you want. I got beet, orange, ginger n lime juice with egg n cheese on a roll. They use real cheese, not the fake process cheese. I'm mad at myself for passing them by so many times. There are a lot of juice places in this area. For me customer service goes a long way. This is my go to spot from on. Next time I will try one of their salads. Omgooooodness....sooooo yesterday I was craving meat. I went in for my regular beet juice smoothie. I decided to order their cheeseburger deluxe. Too bad I don't have a pic of it. I was so hungry n impressed when I saw the crispy fries n the huge burger. My first bite was satisfying.
