Still a good cafe. A bit pricey, but what isn't in these times we live in. I have purchased so many things from this cafe and nothing has been a disappointment. From smoothies, to shawarma wraps, pancakes and bacon, cakes etc. The coffee and chai teas are almost good. The customer service is always outstanding and the store is always clean and they offer fresh ingredients. The only thing stopping the fifth star is I really think things are a bit pricey. Stumbled upon this place while looking for iced coffee. So nice to see a place like this in the Bronx. It was super clean, very big menu. They make coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and have a bunch of desserts as well. The ambiance was so nice. The workers were super friendly! Most places just put a breaded cutlet and rely on an external sauce for flavor. So I ran out of creamer and decided to go to my local cafe. The only one around that's not a Dunkin' or Starbucks so that is a plus but unfortunately I went in and there's a man there with a huge dog that's barking at people. Why a dog was allowed in a cafe that's not well-behaved at least is beyond me. And no it was 1,000% not a service dog. Also all I got was a drip coffee nothing fancy but it was lukewarm at best. $3 for a cup of coffee that's lukewarm is a waste of money to me. Love this new healthy addition to the neighborhood! This place has been life saving during the past few months working from home! I usually run in there to grab a breakfast sandwich either on a bagel or a croissant. Good green juices, I come to get my fresh green juices about 3-4 times a wk. I often bring my own reusable cup for my green juice and the young lady always fills it to the top. (I always make sure to tip) Their baked good are yummy especially their cookies. Good salad bar also- i usually get the salad w out any protein as they only have chicken but still good -the worker behind the counter always gives me extra chickpeas, my fav! The food was amazing. Great wrap and french fries. The locale is also bright and airy. However, the star deduction is primarily because the cashier was extremely unpleasant. The guy behind the counter clearly told her I was next to pay. She then glanced at me and proceeded to invite someone else to pay before me. My friend was also treated rudely by an older guy preparing her food. Maybe the workload is too much for too few employees? Anyhow, these experiences are enough for me to feel that I don't want to return there. I was stuck between giving a rating of 2 and 3. The reason I went with 3 is because I actually do like their Athens omelete and mocha latte, which Is the only part of the meal that I ate. However, I am very disappointed that after spending a little over 16 bucks, the hash browns and toast that came with the meal was literally burnt. They were so crispy and near black that I could barely bite into them so threw the food away.
