This place is a hidden GEM in the neighborhood. I'm pretty sure its existed for ages but I started coming in here after one of my favorite nail techs left my go to spot. It is clean, CALM, and I have never once had to wait a second for my appointment. While it isn't the most modern of places interior wise, all of their equipment is new and up to date and they have never had an issue giving me any type of nail and style I have asked for over the last couple of years. They have a multitude of colors in every nail finish imaginable and their techs are skilled and professional. The price is also right here in comparison to some other local spots, for the same services and in my opinion longer lasting results. RUN, don't walk to make an appointment here. My go-to spot closed so my friend suggested Gold Nails since I already had a bad experience elsewhere. I had been here when it was under a different name so I already knew what to expect. The place is a bit dated but it was clean and spacious. They had a ton of nail colors and offer a lot of services but I was just looking for a classic mani / pedi so I was happy to learn it was only $45. I am so happy with the service I received. I mistakenly said mani & pedi when I called when I really wanted a full set and pedi. They adjusted and were very helpful. I am *very* indecisive and they were patient and kind with me while it took almost my entire pedi to pick colors! I love my nails and am so happy I came to this shop! Don't bother making an appointment because it won't be honored. The services are adequate enough for the price but I've come in as a walk-in and seen appointments wait. I had an appointment at 2 o'clock and they phoned to ask if I could come at 2:30. I said no problem. It's now 2:55 and my daughter & I have been sitting waiting for 25 minutes. I have been going to this place for over a year and unfortunately I will not be returning. I really loved this place until 2 days ago when I received the worst customer service ever. First, I picked a gel-no chip color that was wine red. From the first coat is was a completely different color and I told my tech: "Are you sure this is the right color? It looks completely different" and she responded "Yes it is. It's because this isn't a popular color so I need to shake it and after a few coats it will turn red". I trusted her because I have always gotten my nails done by her. We get towards the end of the manicure and it was still not red. She proceeds to get the box and on the box it said "NO MATCH". Meaning that the gel no chip polish did not match the demo. She just told me it was still a pretty color and offered me nothing. I was unhappy with the color especially after being there for an hour and a half due to the amount of coats she had put on. So I calmly asked Henry if I could get a discount because this is not what I wanted. He got angry and did not even want to look at me and said: "I can only discount $5. Next time tell your tech from the first coat if something doesn't look right." The nail tech spoke up and said, "she did tell me," " and then he continued to speak and said: "The manufacturer sent me that box color and it doesn't match. That's not my problem. If it doesn't match it is not my problem." What? How is that not your problem? It was the tech's mistake that she didn't read the box. If it didn't match he should have crossed off that color off the demo. Yes, it is your problem, especially since I had spoken up from the first coat. The tech apologized and Henry did not and he got mad at me. I was just very disappointed with that interaction. I have been a costumer for over a year and the fact that I got a response like that? Very rude and unprofessional and for that reason I will not be going there anymore. read more

My all-time FAVORITE nail salon in Chicago! Being a girl who values keeping a fresh mani and pedi, I've tried nail salons all over the city. However, the QUALITY & SERVICE at Organic Nails keeps me coming back to them time and time again. When I get a no-chip mani here, it last 3 weeks. No questions asked. It lasts. I work with my hands, washing them constantly, and have never found another nail salon whose no-chip I can count on lasting 3 weeks. Their pedicures are also phenomenal. They really take the time to entire they properly maintain your toenails and scrub your feet so they're nice and smooth when you leave the salon. I love that they include a sugar scrub with the pedi at no additional cost. Their pedis are $20 and last literally an hour, it's one of the most luxurious ways to treat yourself. Additionally, the salon is clean. Everything is well-kept and the ambiance is warm, comfy, and inviting. This isn't a "high-end" salon by any means, but you will receive service BETTER than a fancy salon at a FRACTION of the cost (seriously, the prices here are excellent). The best part is this is a family-owned business. The hardworking owner Henry is supporting his wife and children. He is a true family man and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Short: Clean, quiet, and very calming salon with a TON of colors from which to choose. Very affordable and with a wide variety of ways to pamper yourself and only a short walk from the Irving Park blue line stop. Fantastic and friendly service. I can't believe I've been driving to Lincoln Square/Wicker Park/Anywhere Else to get my nails done. This place is right around the corner from me and I must have passed it a thousand times while strolling around the neighborhood. I finally booked myself an after work session to get rid of a no-chip mani (from another salon) that only lasted about a week before very obviously chipping and peeling. I booked through their Facebook page and within a minute I had an appointment set and ready to go. I was greeted (by name!) by Henry, who gave me one of the best manicures I've ever had. He was so attentive, quick and friendly and he meticulously shaped up sad nails into a very sturdy set. I have a lot of hands-on activities coming up this week so I'm excited to see if this treatment can take a beating but I will be back soon either way. read more

Kind staff and great prices. I get my nails done very rarely so I'm always nervous going to spas, but the staff was great! I called ahead to see if they were busy and they set up a mani/pedi appointment for me for just 30 minutes later. The pedicure was my first in almost ten years and it was amazing, I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! They have lots of gel, dip, and regular polish colors in different styles. I went with a neutral pink because I have a wedding this weekend but I'll definitely be back to try some of their funkier options (chrome, cateye, they have it all!). This place used to be Diamond Nails, and I am SO happy it changed hands. What a difference! I stopped in today for a no-chip and ended up getting a pedicure too (because their 20% off promotion was too good to pass up). The inside of the place hasn't changed much but the upgrades the new management did make, like the new marble nail stations, make a huge difference. It is also noticeably cleaner than the last place, and all the tools they used were extremely clean. The pedicure was incredible. I can't believe how reasonably priced they are, even at full price. It had been a while since I had a good pedicure and my feet needed WORK. The nail tech was meticulously thorough, and my feet have never looked better. The no-chip manicure was also excellent. Again, the attention to detail was better than I've ever gotten at high-end salons. The color selection is amazing, and the staff was super friendly. I will gladly pay a few bucks more to come here instead of my usual cheap-and-dirty place. All in all, it was a perfect experience. Highly recommend. read more

Organic Nails is absolutely the best place to go for great nail care. My nails are always beautiful because I am there every two weeks. You MUST get the luxury pedicure. The gels, lotions, hot towels, and hot stones are heavenly and make your feet so soft and smooth. My daughter lives in Los Angeles. Whenever she comes for a visit, getting a mani-pedi at Organic Nails is always at the top of her to-do list. The customer service is phenomenal! Kim, Henry. and Phil are so thoughtful and considerate. I appreciate all of the extra little touches such as a cup of coffee on a cold morning, a bottle of water on a hot afternoon, or dashing outside to put more money in my parking meter. Poor customer service I'm a neighbor whose been coming here. Had a gift certificate from 8/20/18 with 6 mo expiration. I came in January to use it, my service was more than the gift certificate so I handed them my credit card with certificate . He rung up the whole thing on my credit card and didn't apply the gift card, apologized and asked if I wanted him to refund and re-ring. So they didn't have to go through the hassle I said don't worry I'll be back again. Busy mom don't get to get pampered often and JUST got back in today 3/22, where my gift certificate was refused for being a month expired. I should of just made them go through trouble of refund in January- nice guys finish last. PS there's nothing organic about this place read more
