I can't speak for everybody who there, but the lady that did pedicure was very rude. Not sure if it had anything to do with the language barrier. but she was not friendly at all. Well... this is my third set of nails done here. My first set came out great, very cute. Second set two of my fingers chipped i went and I fix it. Now this is my third set (only 1 week) , I already went one time to fix one nail because it chipped and now all of them started chipping (pealing off, "and It's supposed to be no-chip"). I love this place and is always my go to every two weeks after I come out of work. Although, I started noticing that my nails started to chip, and I decided to take them off and was going to go back to get a no chip full set. Then I noticed that some of my nails had green and yellowish coloring under my real nail. I've never had this happened to me after the many times I would go there, but since Covid-19 I would expect more cleaning from them and tools to be cleaned after every customer, because it could cause for fungus as well to build up. These people used to be friendly, now they make you feel like a product, the faster they're done with you the better for them, so they can work on another person. My concern is that they don't clean work stations after they are done with their client. I was told to sit right after a Customer was moved to another seat. I had to ask the girl to clean the table, if hadn't she was ready to start on my manicure. I cleaned the seat with a Clorox wipe that I carry on my purse, I could feel the the seat was still warm from the prior Customer. This place was a complete waste of money . I went in for an acrylic long stiletto no chip. First the guy that did them didn't know what shape an stiletto was . I should've left then. I had to show him a picture of it . Then he just filed my nail bed , didn't clean my nails, didn't pushed the cuticles back . Nothing . He just went straight to glueing the tips . He glued my skin to the tips and then forcefully pulled them apart . It was horrific . My nails were uneven . Had bumps and dips . Worst mani/pedis on the northwest side of Chicago. I thought I'd give them another chance because it's been 4-5 years and they're only 3 blocks away from home, but I was wrong. Still horrible. They rushed me in and out because I was the last one there. This woman kept shoving colors in may face telling me to "pick one". I was trying to explain the color I was looking for and she kept acting like I was annoying her, and I know she was saying horrible things about me in the process. She did my hands while someone else did my feet and she kept throwing my hand down and telling me I came too late. I told her I would've come back tomorrow if they would've have asked me. Half way through she tells me to pay and before I could get my coat on they were shoving me out the door. The whole thing was about 20 minutes, no chip manicure and pedicure. I left in flip flops and ruined the polish as soon as I left because I didn't have a chance to dry. My pedicure was non existent, but the manicure was actually okay considering how rude she was. I came back the next morning and showed them the pedicure and asked that they do it again, no attitude very politely. I paid for a service I didn't get so.... They were equally rude and never said a kind word. They acted like I was the jerk who took THEIR money and have them crap in return. They threw some oil on my feet and re-polished one toe. It's close to home and I've had the same experiences at other nail shops. My nails are natural and not acrylic. I tend to keep them shorter for my work.
