They are the sweetest couple and literally had smiles on their face the whole time while working in super hot rooms! They answered every question and even gave us more information that we needed and didn't think to ask. They worked well with our insurance and helped us know what was covered and immensely made that process easier. They were very efficient and curteous. They worked around our crazy schedules and always wore shoe covers and never brought any smells or dirt in with them (they definately aren't smokers which is a huge plus for me). Their time estimations were super accurate as well. They boxed everything in our rooms up and moved it to the garage for us and constantly checked it to see how it was doing. After an inspection, Joe said he couldn't justify the high cost of a restoration clean for our level of "dirt". He felt it would be cheating us. I was disappointed but you don't find this level of integrity often. He did sell us a few bottles of the enzyme cleaner they use for urine/feces/biological dirt and we were able to clean it ourselves for a fraction of the cost. SLICK SALES PITCH - POOR PERFORMANCE…read more Southlake Builders re-roofed my home. I had numerous issues in the process. They demanded payment before they finished their contract and threatened to file a lien on my home if I didn't agree to pay them before they completed their work. I'm still picking up nails and roofing material in my yard that was supposed to be removed. They also broke all of my flowerbed yard lights and a ceramic bird bath. I ended up contracting another company to finish the job. I have since found out that other companies charge much less for the same work. There are several good roofing contractors out there but Southlake Builders isn't one of them.
