So, I've been on a weight loss/fitness journey for about a year and a half. I've recently been trying to incorporate the right supplements to work out out smarter so I can continue to see results. I came in and spoke with Cameron who was super helpful in explaining what protein and aminos would be good for me. Everything tastes great, and I'm excited to incorporate them into my fitness routine. I went into Nutrishop and GNC and spoke with employees there and didn't get the answers or the explanations I was seeking. It was clear they didn't know the products they were selling. Cameron knows the products, he's nice, also (not relevant) but extremely good looking. There's also a kitten who roams the shop and is totes adorbes. I'm happy to start supporting this local business on a regular basis, they're the only independent shop I could find on yelp and I'm glad I came in. If you are looking for supplements to help you get to the next level athletically this is the place to go! I'm a 47 year old male who hits the gym regularly but I pretty much plateaued and wasn't really making any noticeable gains. Then in December a friend of mine turned me onto Gold Star Nutrition so I figured what the heck I will try some supplements (I was never really a believer before this). Well, since then the gains have been incredible. In December I was at over 14% body fat and now 4 months later I'm down to 11.6% body fat, and I went from 185 to 192 pounds on the scale. Of course I'm putting in the hard work in the gym but the supplements have allowed me to work out harder,longer, and recover faster which has lead to me being in the best shape of my adult life. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products and will get you on the right supplements to achieve your goals. Also, since this isn't a major chain they carry a lot of great products that you can't find anywhere else. My son is a loyal customer of Gold Star and has received tons of helpful and accurate nutritional advice from Cameron and Jeff, as well as high quality supplements. Recently, he (my boy) noticed I've been a little under par with my own workout regimen and after discussing it with Gold Star, they made recommendations for me that have shown significant improvements in just over 15 days. recently me and a friend visited the store, my friend was asked to leave the store because he did not have shirt on and was told by the boss other customers would be offend. so my friend left the store and we were the only customers to begin with, I handed the boss the money to make the purchase at which point the boss pulled back the products back and would not sell them.
