They have their own parking lot behind the store! Super nice people just not well versed in a Vegan diet. They do, however, carry a Vegan Protein Powder in three different flavors. But I question all the other supplements not labeled Vegan. Vita was a recommended Multi-Vitamin. I asked if it was Vegan and was told it was but there's actually honey in it. He wrote up a specialized meal plan for the gains in muscle and loss in fat that I wanted to see. He also gave me recommendations for supplements that would help get me there faster. This is the place to go if you want some serious GAINZ. but seriously...I don't usually shop at nutrition stores, therefore I must proclaim fivestar nutrition is the best in its craft. I first started going to their other location in Pocket, but now they are centrally located in Sacramento, in Midtown/East Sac. The store is slightly bigger and the display on the outside gives it a good vibe. Every time you enter the store the manager, Chris, greets you with a smile and is always openi to answering any questions you have. This guy is yoked aka swoll aka ripped, you can tell he's been putting hard work in the gym for years. He's the type of guy YOU WANT to get advice from, he's not your typical overweight 24 hr fitness representative that say they are a "personal trainer." This guy really knows his stuff, and is genuine in wanting to help others achieve their fitness goals. Every product he sells, he can break down and explain to you the function of the supplement and how it will impact your workout. I highly recommend this nutrition store, it's the best in Sacramento. This place is the only store to sell Intek Evolution protein, which is what I come here for. It's a pure protein with very little fat and added substances. There are so many different products out there nowadays, Chris really does his research and backs his products, which again shows how he's so knowledgeable. The products and supplements here are high quality, so the prices are going to be a little bit more expensive, just a side note. Went in there for Intek Protein because it is impossible to find anywhere locally. Fivestar has a lot of products that you can't find at other shops including Quest bars for only $24 a box. That is cheaper than online so I will definitely be coming here more often. The other thing I like a lot about Fivestar is they have a great looking staff. Eye candy for daysssss. Been going to Fivestar since they opened in Greenhaven. Chris and everyone I've spoken to in there is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I've witnessed the same exact in detail and helpful customer service for beginners to advanced weightlifters. While this sounds like it should be a given at any retail store, the gym atmosphere can be intimidating to beginners and many larger chain or supplement stores don't lend themselves to fight that stereotype. I go to Fivestar for all my supplements and vitamins: pre-workout, protein, BCAA's, you name it. I'm moving to San Diego, but plan to keep my business through them by ordering online. They have a huge selection of Intek protein (cookies&cream my personal favorite) and Pro Action chocolate covered strawberry is the . Aside from their huge stock and awesome deals they also offer a nutrition plan that will fit your fitness goals. When they first opened I was set up by Chris with said plan and have achieved a massive weight loss and gained a love for bettering my knowledge and understanding of my body. I would choose this place over GNC or any other supplement store hands down. Everyone that's works there is knowledgeable and eager to help. My visit today was amazing. After reading the reviews I realized I was helped by the owner, Chris. I had a few questions about flavors of the preworkout, vaper (which I love), and Chris was so kind and helpful. He opened a shaker cup to let me taste the coconut workout and then proceeded to give the cup to me on the house. Then he gave me samples of the passion fruit and coconut preworkouts to try at home. Chris also informed me that if I didn't care for one of the products I bought I could take them back. He honestly didn't have to do all that. He went out of his way to take care of me as a customer and I really appreciate his time and knowledge.
