Jared Galleria of Jewelry - $25. "Charity" link adjustment at Jared. I have to bring it home to attach it myself.

Normally, the store would need to send the watch out to another location, which would take several days, but when the saleslady saw my dilemma, she was incredibly helpful and offered to go above and beyond by changing out the battery that same day at the Watchung store. We are both so very appreciative for just how helpful this knowledgeable and technically accomplished sales lady was and would recommend this store to everyone!

I knew I should have turned around when someone greets you "Hi Hun" as soon as you step in (such an endearing greeting to welcome clients in.) Of course I greeted back "Hi Dear", but I forged on to speak to the blonde woman with bright red lipstick directly to the front and not to the greeter on the left. I asked for watch links adjusted (fast forward to crux of the matter). How much do they charge? Her: "Oh, we don't charge, we only ask for donations to St. Judes for Children, whatever amount you chose (something to that effect). She gave my watch to the gentleman and I follow. She follows, I gave her $10. She looked at me like I pee'ed on the floor, Her: "We usually charge $25. to have the links removed". Me: You should have said that to begin with when I asked you & NOT under the guise of "donation" to charity. Donation is what I give & not what you dictate I give. No wonder they ask for all your information, they want to inundate me with emails which I also reiterated I do not want to receive. She stood there right next to me most of the time & asked the man if he can do it, and again came back to give me my receipt and to explain their "donation". I didn't want to hear none of that and just explained to her the difference between donation to charity and getting charged. I couldn't wait to get out of that Toxic environment. If I could, I would have high tailed it out of there except he already started pounding on the links. Yes, pounding. My philosophy? If you want to donate to charity, do it in your own company name and not through others in the guise of "Oh we do not charge, it's just what you are willing to give" and shame you if you fall short of what they think you should give. 3 links removed, $25.00. My Agita- Priceless!!! p.s. I also have to put the links back on my watch myself because he didn't have the tool to get it done. Hahaha! My $425. watch is now valued at $450. courtesy of Jared in Watchung. It's not allowing me to leave with "0" star. Ugh!

BEWARE - of shopping for clothing here. You may find something you like at a reasonable price…read more.. BUT ... there is no place to try it on (common these days unfortunately) AND if you get it home and find it does not fit properly? Too ******* bad - No refunds, no exchanges, no returns, no store credit. I can buy into either ONE of the policies - no trying on, or no returns/exchanges. But not BOTH. Anytime you buy an article of clothing at this place you risk wasting your money. Oh sure, something you can try on over your clothing, give it a shot - a jacket, a sweater. Or even something that is very "forgiving" like sweats, or t-shirts. On Saturday, I found a few pairs of pants I was interested in, asked a clerk where I could try them on, and was given the standard response. I asked what people do about that, she softly recommended I go to a back corner "by the tools" and quickly/surreptitiously try them on. Fortunately, under my jeans, I was wearing not underwear, but a pair of shorts. Ones that are not "risque`" at all - less so than say gym shorts, or swimsuit, or even bike shorts. Even more fortunately, I found a rolling screen that I wheeled over to said corner to be even more discreet. Got one of the pairs on, and as I was about to try another when a very polite staffer came and stopped me, telling me that some vague "they" said it was making "them" "uncomfortable." Really?? Bike shorts - "Uncomfortable"? What's UNCOMFORTABLE is wondering if I am throwing money away buying something that wont fit and cant be returned or exchanged. BAD POLICIES, will not return to this store - or any store that wont let you try on OR return/exchange
