I called DermAesthetics because I had a pretty bad random breakout and wanted LouAnn to look at it and see if she could help me. I hate going anywhere without makeup when I have a bad breakout - I feel so insecure - but she and the front desk staff were so warm, welcoming, kind, and compassionate. LouAnn is incredibly knowledgeable and when I mentioned I veer more towards a holistic approach to overall health and skincare, she immediately let me know a few different micronutrients I may want to incorporate into my diet to promote healthier skin. I loved that she wasn't judgmental in the least about it (some health care professionals I've seen in the past all but roll their eyes when I ask for a holistic approach to getting to the root cause of a problem). She had an incredible bedside manner. I am pretty sure I was the last patient of the day, and I didn't feel rushed at all. In fact, I was trying to speak quickly and speed up the process so she could leave for the day, but she was not having it. She patiently asked lots of questions, made notes, and helped me think about what aspect of my life could be triggering the rogue breakout I was experiencing. She really took her time with everything she did - from talking with me to explaining the small procedure she'd do, and then explaining the aftercare. LouAnn was so kind, so funny, so knowledgable, and above all, so compassionate that I immediately booked a facial that I'm really looking forward to receiving. Oh, and in case you were wondering, she *was* able to help my breakout. She injected a few pimples and they diminished greatly within two days (normally these suckers take two weeks at least to heal). Not only that, but the rest of my face - which was clear already - looked so healthy and fresh after using the two products she recommended. LuAnne is so knowledgeable and profession as well as honest. She told me that wouldn't try to sell me anything and that she only makes treatment recommendations based on her 20 something years of skin and injection experience. Her place is so beautiful and clean and the front desk girls were very nice. I enjoyed a glass of wine while Arlene the Aesthetician gave me a hand massage during my treatment. LuAnn also diagnosed a rash on me at the same visit! She still works at a Dermatology practice in some other town, and I liked the idea that was she is Dermatology APRN and smart about skin issues. She also works for a plastic surgeon who will soon be coming to her place, but I didn't meet him on that day. My only complaint is the limited parking in the front but there was a large parking lot in the back. On a side note I did eat at Denmos next door afterwards, which I loved. LouAnn is exceptional! I'm so happy I found this place. I've been to other med spas and have felt rushed and pressured to buy things but none of that exists at DermAesthetics. The place is really peaceful and clean, the girls upfront were wonderful, she was very honest about all my treatment options and didn't try to sell me anything. I finally decided to get filler, which she did painlessly with a canula and I left there bruiseless. I'm bringing my son back to have his warts treated and she's going to do a body check on me as well and possibly a biopsy of something she identified her in my cosmetic visit with her. I may even go see her plastic surgeon Dr. Fischer about a cosmetic surgical consultation. LouAnn is just the the sweetest person, the real deal and it's obvious she has a lot of experience. I had a great facial from Arlene this weekend. It was refreshing and relaxing without consuming my day, or making me feel all greasy where I had to run home and take a shower! The entire practice is extremely clean, inviting and places a lot of focus on each customer's experience. The staff could not have been nicer. I never felt like I was being carted in for a service only to be rushed out for the next customer like other larger spas. They also gave me several free samples of their skincare products, rather than pushing me to buy them OR pressure me for the next appt. I will definitely be back!! read more

I recently went to DermAesthetics for the first time on a friend's recommendation.The atmosphere is very inviting & the staff is very friendly & competent. I drove 1 hr. for a skin consultation with LouAnn and found her to be extremely knowledgeable about dermatology & appreciated the personable manner & the amount of time that she spent with me in discussing & addressing my multiple skin concerns. I love this place! Lu is so honest, experienced and 100% knowledgeable about everything. She is a practicing Dermatology Nurse Practitioner as well as cosmetic and laser guru. She found a skin cancer on my aunt while injecting her face. The staff and front desk girls are so kind and helpful, and I've never been disappointed with anything I got done there. My only complaint is that there's sometimes a wait to get in to see her but once you see her, you'll realize it's worth it. This isn't a fly-by night Botox in a box shop. Louann is amazing. Very knowledgeable kind considerate and personable. My skin has never looked better. I've suffered from acne/ scars for 20 years and have always worn a tin of makeup to cover it up after a year and a half of seeing Louann I don't even wear foundation anymore and I get compliments on my skin all the time. LouAnn was great! She was very honast and professional. I had 2 syringes of filler and some botox and my results were very natural with no bruising. Ive had botox before but this was my first time completely painless! I went out to dinner with some friends about an hour later and no one even noticed except to say I looked great. Don't go anywhere else! Lu is a VERY natural injector and no one has ever asked or noticed my filler from her. I work in a very public job and can't have drastic changes to my face. She just does a little at a time per visit, and she would rather have me come back multiple times for a little bit then to put a lot in at one time. I recently visited this very chic day spa to have my rosacea lasered and sun damaged on my neck treated. Louann did my procedures and I couldn't be happier with the results. After a week all the brown spots on my neck were gone and the red on my cheeks is 90% better than it was. I am definitely going back for further treatment.
