As she let me touch the ring she grabbed it from my hand and took it right back as if I was going to take the ring and run away with it or something which Honestly as a jewelry business you should have better customer service but now I can clearly see why your business is not doing so well and is going Out of Business. They claim to have a 70% off but they seem to have marked up the jewelry so high once you add the discount it's still as if your paying regular price for it. I had the money to buy as it was my birthday but thanks to them I rather go to a big store like Macys instead of giving a small business my money when their being quite rude, disrespectful and racist to top it off!!

While we were waiting for the person working at that time to finish up with another customer, we waited at the front & looked at the back of the rings displayed in the window. We were NOT behind the counter but off to the side to give the couple in front of us room when the person working stopped her conversation with another couple to instruct us not to stand behind the counter & to come to the front. She treated us as though we were about to steal or didn't have the money to purchase an item. Basically, if you don't "look" like you have money, be prepared to not look "suspicious." We chose to take ourselves (and our money) elsewhere.

I drove 20 minutes and the guy said " we don't have the same one, but this one should work" and I said OK let's do it. Boy was I wrong, the chain broke, and I had to buy another clasp somewhere else. Well, visiting one of my favorite stores down the street I thought I would browse some of the silver. I immediately found two pieces. I was interested in and immediately had a lovely young gentleman blonde with a little mustache come and open one of the wall cabinets and then one of the glass tables. Easy Peezy I was enjoying my experience. I said I will definitely take that piece. I said I'm not quite done shopping yet and started to look around about five minutes later, I was done, but the gentleman who had been helping me was helping someone with a watch so I was waiting until he was done. while waiting for the guy to be done with the lady with the watch I noticed a ring that matched the pendant, you see in the pictures and realize it also matched a pair of earrings. I had there were two very similar rings, both size 10, but in different display holders, but the same cabinet. I went up to the register because the gentleman who helped me originally was still busy and asked to see two rings from two different display trays. He pulled the first set of rings out and said he could only take one tray out at a time which was not a problem. I was surprised when he wanted to go all the way back to the front of the store instead of on the jewelry table right there where the rings are and I said could we please just take the one ring out of one of the displays and that ring so that I could look at both of them I'm only interested in those two rings that's when I met Jennifer Jennifer was on her way to lunch and I really wish now that she had gone on her merry way because she inserted herself in ways that mean I will never walk into the store again. Literally I was not going to be able to compare the two ring. I could look at one ring at a time at the front of the store but separately So I went ahead and said never mind. I will just purchase what I've already decided on and walked back to the original gentleman. He was super nice at this point Jennifer came walking from another part of the store because the gentleman helping said I don't mind showing you the rings ma'am that's when she lost it. She told me that maybe I didn't need to buy something from the store today. The gentleman pursued and continued to help me. I said let's not even bother looking at the rings. Let's just purchase the pendant instead of leaving for her lunch hour. She continued to harass me and follow me to the register. At which point I asked for her name, she gleefully thrust her card at me and said that she was the assistant manager and I said I didn't care if she owned the store the way that she treats customers is not OK. I went ahead and purchased the $78 pendant because it's so well matches a pair of earrings. I already have. It's too bad. I don't have the ring also to match it, but I am never stepping foot in the store again. I would also like to mention Jennifer the assistant manager for a third time said to me maybe I didn't wanna shop at the store she didn't ask me to leave but the threat was clear three different times she says maybe you shouldn't shop here. To be fair I understand being short staffed to be fair. I understand only wanting to take out one display at a time, but not allowing a customer to compare two rings to decide which one they are going to buy is absolutely ridiculous. Super clear that I was only interested in the two size 10 turquoise rings. Unfortunately, they were in separate cases in the same locked cabinet. I'd also like to point out. These were not expensive rain. It's not like we were talking about diamonds and sapphires here we're talking about rings under $200. I'm really hoping Jennifer finds lunch because she's not really very pleasant when she's hungry. A huge shout out to the gentleman who helped me because on three occasions, he literally paused, helping me because Jennifer was telling him maybe I shouldn't be purchasing. I have never in my life had an experience like this.

I originally came in hoping to redesign the set (as it was damaged), but after exploring several options, I realized a full redesign wasn't financially realistic for me at this time. Rather than pushing me toward something outside my budget, Thomas worked with me to find a solution that honored both the sentimental value of my original ring and what I could realistically afford. He repaired my original setting, replaced my stone with a beautiful lab-grown opal, and helped me creatively use inherited family jewelry toward the project. The end result feels deeply personal and absolutely beautiful -- I now have my wedding set back in a way that feels meaningful, unique, and affordable. What really stood out to me was how much personal attention Thomas gave throughout the process. He took time to walk through options, answer questions, and genuinely get to know me and what I was looking for. He's warm, funny, easy to talk to, and the experience felt very much like working with an old-school local family business that truly values relationships with their customers. If you're looking for a jeweler who will take the time to work with you, think creatively, and help you find something that fits both your vision and your budget, I'd absolutely recommend stopping in to Scotts Valley Jewelers!

( Try over ten years! ) As I celebrate my ten year…read morewedding anniversary AND being a bridal consultant too I can honestly say that my ring still makes my heart flutter! When the big day is over and the cake is eaten and the flowers die there are few precious items that can take you back to your special moment. And with my occupation as a bridal consultant I see amazing rings EVERYDAY of my life. So when I get compliments on my ring it makes me feel so special! When my now husband on the hunt for the perfect engagement ring he knew it had to be a antique piece. I am a lover of vintage clothing as well as antique furniture. So there was no question in my mind that the engagement ring that I would wear for a lifetime would be a antique piece. I gave my husband an idea as to time frame I wanted for the ring. If you are buying a vintage or antique engagement ring it is important to know the era in which you want to focus on. Since with each era there are different little details as well as the stone cuts are different from stone cuts of modern rings. I love the Victorian and Edwardian eras but not not anything 'newer' than the Art Deco Era. My husband went to many stores including Lang Antiques, Dianne's Old And New Estates and a host of others just to name a few. But nothing seemed quite right. He knew that I wanted my dream ring to have a hearts and flower motif on the filigree metal work on the ring. (I know I am that detailed!) But Judy kept my husbands information since he did not find 'The Ring' on his initial visit. Judy went on a buying trip to the East Coast and when she returned she called my husband to say that she may have my ring. My husband went to look at it and it was quite simply the one. Since our magical day ten years ago this ring that has lived a past life continues to see a life with me. And it makes me feel special and beautiful and special every time I put it on. I have taken it recently to Judi Wyant Antiques to have the diamond tightened and reappraised and much to our amazement and delight it appraised for more than what we paid for it. And it was a significant price increase as well. I have noticed that buying a antique or vintage engagement ring has been in vouge lately. I feel that if you are looking for the perfect antique or vintage engagement ring please start your search at Judi Wyant Antiques. Her staff is excellent as well as knowledgeable in the various eras as well as the diamond cuts of the eras. You will not be disappointed to visit such a elegant and well curated store. I have sent many brides to Judi Wyant Antiques who have admired my ring and they too have been nothing but delighted and have come away well informed. Thank you Judi and staff for taking the time to not only educate my husband on the world of antique or vintage wedding rings but finding my dream ring. I cannot thank you enough for helping us find a ring that was just so perfect. It has carried me through ten years and will go on through our lifetime together. Thank you for your passion for what you do as well as your excellent customer service. Jane who also works with you has always been gracious and courteous every time we have ventured into your store! Thank you again!
