By the time I've enjoyed a coffee, grabbed a bagel, and done a little shopping, Franchesco is ready to go home looking his best. One thing I really appreciate is the salon's open-floor layout. From the lobby, you can hear what's going on, and if you peek in, you can see the dogs being groomed. At first, I was a little nervous because Franchesco is a grumpy old man, but he's done surprisingly well in this environment. He has been groomed by several different groomers over the years and has never had a bad experience. The owner works the front desk herself, and she is always kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about dogs. It's clear that she genuinely cares about both the pets and their owners. They also offer fun little extras that make each visit special, like a "Scent of the Month" after grooming and an adorable Halloween costume contest.
