I had a terrible experience with this place, I took my coverlet to be cleaned, after 11 days I picked up my coverlet from the cleaners. I took home when I opened the plastic I realized that it wasn't washed at all, I could still smell the dust in my blanket and there was a stain, I took it back and I asked the woman who was super rude to smell. She doesn't want to accept that it never been cleaned and she finally took it back. Although, I got for another 10 days my blanket back. I am not happy with their cleaning machine. By far, the most expensive cleaners/ tailor I have ever been to. The quality of the tailoring is decent at best. The quality of the dry cleaning is sub-par at best. It's not the closest one to me but it's the best one I've found and I've tried several in the area. I picked up some sailing gear earlier in the year for sailing over to Avalon Harbor on Catalina in case we encountered inclement weather on the three day trip. The jacket I ordered form Amazon was a little large but perfect since I was going to be layering my clothes. The pants however were too long. I recently used them for a San Diego sail last month and quickly remembered what I forgot to do; get the pants tailored. A week after we returned I made it a point to bring the pants down to be corrected for better fit. I walked in and was greeted, friendly, helpful, and professional as I remembered from the last time I was here. The lady behind the counter asked what I needed to have done. I put on the pants, she safety pinned her adjustments & I was out the door in fifteen minutes. It was a Thursday; the pants would be ready next Tuesday. I wasn't in any huge rush. I didn't have plans on sailing a multiple day trip anytime time soon. Work performed: 1. Hem shortened and velcro reattached. 2. Seat taken in (Clearly these pants were made for someone substantially taller then myself... 'Or with a much larger arse; I'm not complaining.) One of the last places where I had the hem taken in, the new stitching was wavy and looked like someone was hitting the bottle. - "Don't drink & sew." It wasn't just a little crooked, it look like something from Trigonometry and calculating the sine of an angle. This is your business, sewing; how can you not sew a straight line around a hem? Service was extremely poor. Lady at the counter wanted to argue with me over her mistake. I have been using this cleaner for nearly 20 years. "Milly" was the previous over and sold the business approximately 2 years ago. If I ever had an issue Milly would work to resolve it. I left my dry cleaning several weeks ago, as I counted the pieces the lady took my clothes and started counting (I thought that fine if she wants to count) however, as she counted I told her to please press one pair of pants a certain way. I returned the next week to pick-up my items, the pant I requested be pressed did not get dry cleaned, only pressed. I left the pants to be cleaned and returned a few days later to pick up the pants. The lady at the counter charged me $4 extra for pressing. I said why are you charging me $4 for pressing when you charged me the week before. She said she had the press the pants when she cleaned them and that it was my fault! I tried to explain she should not charge me if she presses the cpants as part of the dry cleaning process. She said to me "it's your fault". I will not argue with people over their mistakes. She was willing to lose me as a customer of 20 years over $4. I will never use this cleaner again. I saw the good reviews on Yelp for this place so we went there. The woman who assisted us was extremely helpful and took her time as we explained what was important to us. She said she could have it ready by Thursday after 3 although she would have preferred more time. She had it ready and it turned out great. Really like her helpfulness. My own family used to own a dry cleaners so I definitely know a good dry cleaners when I see one and Eco cleaners is just that! I had just moved to the area a year ago and spent the longest time trying to find a good cleaners around the area. This place has the most reasonable price for their above and beyond cleaning. Myling noticed I was putting tape on my blouses all the time so she put in a tiny unnoticeable button so I didn't ruin my clothes with tape. How thoughtful and helpful is that? Absolutely thrilled with the way they handled my crazy expensive Cal King down comforter and Nordstrom Home duvet! Cannot believe the quality and service in this tucked away storefront on CVP at Niguel. i wish will be less then one start be aware this people do what they want to do, not what you ask then. i took 5 new and expensive pants they did the man slacks they do the single hem and not the cufs of course is nothing then can do and then charge like if they will do the cuffs after and then my 3 slacks the hem was so narrow that look awful i give the 5 pairs new slacks to donation because is nothing i can do. my husband pick it up. and i don't notice until i was parking for our trip. i call then and angela told me that is want i ask for it, and i know i took two other pair of pants to show then the way i need then to do and so they will understand what i need it i think they sound learn english if they want to be in this country and work. be aware does not happen to you and waiste you money the way happen to us. of course they dint want to be responsable for there incompetency. read more
