I dropped off my engagement dress for dry cleaning. When I came to pick up the dress, there was pilling all over the front and the color of the white dress had darkened in shade. I asked the lady and she said she would take it back to the vendor. I told her the inside of the dress was the true color, a true white dress and the color of the outside was changed to a faded, dull, as of something else was washed with my dress. She said she would sent it back and that sometimes things like this happen. I came back a week later to pick it up, the color was the same, but the pilling was gone. This is an engagement dress worn for a total of 3-4 hours. The gentleman that gave me my dress accused me saying the dress was old and worn several times and that their service was done. I asked for reimbursement for my ruined dress but they asked to keep my dress for evidence! I don't appreciate the customer service, accusing me that I have worn the dress many times. I have proof of when I bought the dress and the date of the event, exactly 24 hours apart. My engagement dress is ruined. It's not about replacing it. I have been a customer with many changes of ownership. recently, I dropped off quite a few pieces to be dry cleaned. three of which were re-dos. I had put many pieces of red tape prior to leaving the clothes for cleaning. Three of the eight pieces needed re-doing. terrible quality control. also, since there are a number of employees that work there, none of them seem to no what the other promised. the right hand does not know what the left hand said. I am now missing at least two or more items. Ok so this cleaners did a real good job before. I never reviewed them before, not for any particular reason. However, I came upon a need to alter some leggings (short people problems) by tapering the mid-calf and lower so they weren't so wide at my ankle (aka, leggings calf width for normal people!) and my husband's crotch area needed reinforcement in a pair of pants that cost less than the repair itself (cheap quality pants). I would regularly bring in some alterations to the previous ownership. So speaking of which, I came into the cleaners and noticed the business has new ownership and is named Ladera Ranch Dry Cleaning (unofficially for now til January). Anthony at the front desk is very nice as well as Martin, the quiet but efficient and skilled alterations aficionado. The last alterations person (under previous owner) did an okay/decent job. Martin let me tell you -- did phenomenal. When I came in I was already wearing the leggings for ease of jumping right into the alterations. I was skeptical on how good these alterations would be, just because we all fear change. Well... worries be gone. Martin did not disappoint. Their changing room is nice and bright with a nice wooden door and is completely private. Previously it was a curtained off area. This is like a legit changing room. It has a chair and it's own lighting. Both Anthony and martin were masked up. The stitching was expertly done copying the same inseam style of stitching with strong thread and the tapered opening was stitched so perfectly. The reinforced crotch of my husbands jeans was done very strongly, I would be surprised if he burns through this pair within the next couple of years. One of the neat features of this new ownership is that their mode of receiving payment can be done wirelessly. For moms with littles who don't want to schlep their kids inside just to get clothing (considering covid as well), Anthony can bring the payment device outside for ApplePay or via credit card without you having to leave your car. Just mask up for everyone's consideration and protection. So not only has the new ownership completely revamped the looks of this place with a complete facelift, the efficiency and quality seems to have improved as well. Prices here are pleasantly lower than many nearby locations, so much that I'm happy to drive 10 min out of my way from the closest cleaner to my home (which is walking distance but 2-3x more expensive) to come to Ladera Ranch Dry Cleaners/Crown Valley Cleaners. Take your stuff here. NEVERMIND how much my review jumped around. The quality and customer service here is wonderful. Hopefully they still are able to survive covid with continuing business here. read more

I brought in my husband's long sleeved, collared dress shirt and asked how much it would cost to wash and press it. The woman at the counter told me the shirt would have to be dry cleaned even though the instructions on the label stated it could be machine washed. She quoted $9.99. When I asked why it was so expensive, she said that was the cost for a woman's blouse. I told her it was a men's dress shirt and she said it would be $6.99...so the price suddenly dropped on the same shirt because it was identified as a men's shirt...I took my business elsewhere. read more

This place is absurdly overpriced. Since when did it cost 19.98 for 2 articles of clothing to be dry cleaned? And 19 to clean a pillowcase? I could have just bought another one for that price. Never again. Ask how much it will cost before you leave so you are not surprised by sticker shock upon picking up your items. The actual cleaning seems good and it ultimately is my fault for not checking pricing so just be aware. I had a bunch of clothes that my family wore to a wedding dry cleaned. I spent a lot of money doing them all at the same time. When they returned the clothes to me, they package their stuff all under one plastic. You really have to go through each one of the items to make sure they cleaned it. Some of the clothes still had spots and one pants were steamed but returned with water spots all over. Luckily I checked then. So I had them do it again. But I also dropped off a dress that I forgot and had them do the dress with the clothes that I asked them to re-clean. When I picked up the clothes, it was right before Thanksgiving and I was busy so I didn't check the clothes closely before picking up this time. Again, they just gave me a bunch of clothes all under 1 plastic so they were all layered together. But I regret that. The dress I had them do still has stains and spots all over. They aren't apparent unless you lift the skirt and open up the pleats. But it's a really horrible job. Again, I went back to ask them to redo it. But this time, I went back after thanksgiving because who has time to keep going back for a dry cleaner to keep re-cleaning clothes that they keep messing up on. But when I went back, they accused me of wearing it on Thanksgiving and were asking them for free cleaning. I DID NOT wear it after I picked it up. I even told them I would let them scroll through my pictures to show when it was worn and that Thanksgiving was a casual family affair. But it is their word against mine right? So I get that, I really should have checked immediately and asked them to redo it right away. But.... Who actually sits there and opens up the plastic at the dry cleaners and inspects the clothes right when you pick them up? I'm busy! Anyways, both times, clothes came back super dirty and they won't take ownership. They just accuse you of wearing it in between pickups if you don't inspect it right there in their dry cleaning business. I'd recommend people not to come here at all but if you do, please please inspect everything you've dropped off because most likely, it won't come back clean lol read more

I went in to get some yoga pants tailored. This was my first time ever getting something tailored for myself and was super nervous about the outcome. I chose this place due to the good reviews and I'm glad I did. With my situation I had to go in a total of 3 times and each time the staff was super helpful and kind. The COVID-19 enforced rules were masks were required and staff was also wearing them and they offered hand sanitizer. When I went in the man at the desk let me know that I could leave a inseam measurement for the actual person that will stitch them because she hadn't been there that day. He told me to get the best thing to do was to schedule an appointment to get measured and that's what I did. I tried them on and she got right to pinning and was very mindful of important details. I love how they turned out and the stitching was great quality and they look like they were never touched! Definitely go here if you need anything tailored.
