He was so comfortable that he felt like he was at home. As for me, I could not be happier with the care they provided. I would visit my father at least twice a week and check him out for the day at least once a week. They always had him ready to go. I was often amazed on how easily they could work with him and honestly to get him to do things that I could not. I had my father in several other facilities, and the care was nowhere near what Everlast provided. Within a couple weeks, I knew I found a great place for Dad. Communication and recommendations, Brett was always on top of it. Something didn't look or feel right, we were talking. Brett always had suggestions on how to make it better. Things like compression socks, additional padding for the bed, creams, lotions, and powder for his feet. My father was also on Hospice for 2 years, and their incredible expertise on how to schedule and help me navigate with Hospice was amazing. The facility, always clean, well maintained and in a peaceful neighborhood. I especially liked the layout and how easy it was for seniors to move around. Unlike most facilities, when I would visit, other residents would be in the front room, living room, or kitchen table being interactive with each other, or the care givers. Unfortunately, all good things do come to an end, but the loving and care did not stop. I invited them to my father's Celebration of Life, which they happily attended. Vanessa, the Activities Director, was especially amazing--she runs an outstanding activities program that truly brings joy and engagement to the residents. We're welcoming the new clinical nurse's assistants (CNA) & Med Techs to lessen the overall workload of those already here. Our meals have improved in size & varieties. New pasta & seafood dishes,(salmon, shrimp) have been delicious standouts. The activities director keeps residents engaged with fun things to do, but a lack of enthusiasm from most residents make actually going little more than a time suck. I'm still getting really settled in after 14 mos, so it's understandable. What I find just as hurtful as it is unprofessional is the caustic, back-biting demeanors of Some of the top managers. It's really quite stupid to bring such mean, middle school,cliche-ish behavior to work. Serves only to put how little regard u have towards the people u work for on Blast! ESPECIALLY,those residents who suffer with dementia-related issues, who may lose their way or not comply with salty directives given by employees who "are just sooo tired of a res's limitations!" Whether I have to literally force the director to say a greeting is one thing, but the next time I overhear a certain sawed-off worker berate any resident by loudly making one of us feel "Less than" crap , I'll have to speak to Karen about it. Karen, Kindly concentrate on your resident's health & safety, like the filthy hallway carpets that we all spread germs to & from our rooms. Taking the time to walk me through next steps in planned or unplanned meetings, sending pictures of Mom at activities to me for my family, giving counsel and letting me know that Mom is loved by everyone. I find the facility to be well kept and inviting during whatever time I come to visit Mom. Even during times when Mom has been a bit of a challenge they have treated her with respect and consulted me with the best plan of action. When we had challenges with hospice they fought for the care Mom deserved and needed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

We…read moredidn't realize how bad the first place was until we came to Serenity Haven and saw what an assisted living facility should be like. She has been at Serenity Haven for about 9 months now. The staff is kind and generous. They really care for their patients and work well with family members to provide the care that is needed and expected. My Mom loves it there and rarely wants to leave because she is so comfortable with the staff and her surroundings. Maryann and Vicky are especially great! The facility is clean and neat. The staff provides activities, like bingo, make-overs, exercise classes, and even take the residents on outings. The staff threw Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations for the residents and their families with all the trimmings and even gave personalized gifts to each resident. My brother and I went to five different assisted and Memory Care Facilities around the Temecula Murrieta area, and all of their memory cares look like zombieland. Very few caregivers, everybody sitting around doing nothing, no music, no one doing activities no laughing and very very depressing. And then we found Vineyard Ranch. The facility is beautiful and very well-kept. When we walked into the memory care, everybody was out of their rooms and doing something. People were laughing, talking activities were going on everywhere, and staff were visible throughout the rooms. Completely different environment and that made us very, very happy. She has been there for 3 weeks now, and she doesn't mention going home at all. She tells everyone this is her home and that she loves it there. She's always doing an activity and keeping busy. She's made a lot of friends. The food is good and she finishes all of her meals. Staff are always there to keep an eye on everyone. After any exercise, the staff brings everyone protein smoothies. Every Thursday they have an excursion to someplace fun and stimulating. At a time when dealing with a situation like this, it can be extremely stressful and create feelings of guilt. Vineyard Ranch has made the transition smooth, easy, and very pleasant. We are so happy to see Mom happy laughing and involved. Couldn't ask for more than that.
