This is my 11 month old pup, Denali. It broke my heart to have to board her at all however Kristy at Golden Delight Kennels took much of my angst away right from the first call. We spoke as if we were old friends and she even suggested a diet for me to put Denali on while we were away to keep her thin. Well, to be honest to get her thinner. I followed her suggestion and when I dropped her off for the 11 day stay it was with what I thought was a full stay's worth of Green Beans for my beloved pup. From the first to the last days Kristy kept me in the loop how Denali was doing with text messages, Facebook Messages and lots of pics. It looked like Denali was having so much fun that she wasn't going to want to come home! I just picked Denali up and thank G-d she remembered me and literally leapt into my arms as she recognized the whistle that I have for her. She looks GREAT! The green bean and kibble diet has worked like a charm and she is back to her svelt self! I was also pleasantly surprised that while I had not packed enough green beans that Kristy and Allen had gone out of their way and purchased enough for her to last the rest of the stay. After about 2 years of doing business with this kennel( and never was I late) I was 3 min late one day, after offering to pick my dog up early if it was easier for the kennel (paying for the full day of course - cash only as I was informed I must do). As I was getting my dog I was informed in a very nasty tone that I would not be charged this time but next time I would be. When I questioned this, being that it was literally 3 minutes, I was attacked. I was screamed at...cursed at...told I was inconsiderate, that we could no longer do business together. I was then blocked from and bashed on the personal Facebook page of the owner. This has happened to not one, not two and not even three other people that I know of....there have been several incidents of this nature that I have been told about. I have seen the unprofessional bashing of customers on Facebook as well. If this is the type of customer service that would make you want to do business with this establishment then I would highly recommend Golden Delight Kennels! After how I was treated I would rather drive to the other side of the County or even into Orange County before doing business with an establishment like this. read more

This kennel boarding services are horrible, wish there were no stars as option to rate. I left my Husky in Kristy's care for the 3rd time in my life. At 1st we had no issues and this last time we went for 7 days vacation across the continent. The moment we dropped our pets in the GDK, Kristy complained and whined how our dog is unsettled, how she is howling and crying. The next day she was saying my dog left her a surprise in the kennel. She kept text bombing us while we drove to the airport and texted us early in the morning. I am talking many long messages with expectations to reply while driving.Then she kept going on and on, and finally when we were in Florida she wrote "im sorry to break your vacation but you have to come back home and pick up your dog" The bunny is doing fine though. So this is a professional boarding service who should give you piece of mind while you are gone and rely on her. She provides all that for $24 per day. She said she didn't charge me for the whole stay with "you're welcome" sarcastic remark.Then she had the audacity to ask for immediate pick up of my dog, right after she wanted an instant payment to her personal PayPal account before my dog can be picked up. Without a payment she wouldn't release my pets. I am not sure what this woman wants. While trying to set up any pick up arrangements with our family, Kristy would be literally harassing us with her texts and wouldn't give us even time enough to think nor or less to talk someone else other than her. Then she was getting really nasty. She took pictures of both my pets the moment they entered her facility, posted them on her Facebook and didn't even ask for our permission. Her policy states she doesn't take care of complicated and stressed animals or pets with a separation anxiety. Now Kristy is telling me my dog has a separation anxiety.I am calling it neglect, as she kept locking my dog up in the kennel instead of walking her long enough. My dog sleeps most of the day as she tires up easily due to Lyme disease history. My dog gets so exhausted that she doesn't like to get up sometimes. Of course, if my dog doesn't like to be locked away like a cattle, she will howl and cry as all huskies do. According to Kristy, this is not normal.Mind that Huskies are pack animals, they like to talk and be part of our life. They are smart. Please, consider your pet's care elsewhere if your dog might show any feelings or is vocal. Because that's unacceptable behavior in this kennel. I couldn't stress you enough to stay away from this boarding facility unless you are looking for trouble. This is by far the worst boarding facility I have dealt with. Kristy will tell you "she runs the show and nobody will tell her how to do her job" She failed miserably with my girl and I have to say, she should be ashamed of herself for being a provider without a proper knowledge of a breed and needs for a such breed. read more

This kennel is immaculate. I recently rescued a dog so I didn't want him in my house when it was being cleaned as he's a runner. I took him to Golden Delight for the day and I was so pleased with my experience. Kristy texted me a couple of pictures during the day and Max looked so happy. I would definitely use this kennel again for overnight stays. read more
