When they questioned what was being sprayed on the rat they were told it was nothing just to clean it. When my daughter finally came home to me and we investigated into it , it turns out the rat is infested with mites. I explained this to her mother and she contacted the pet store manager and primarily told her to screw off. To keep my daughter happy and for the health of the rat i took the rat to the vet. Currently a $200.00 bill and three medications there will also be a $90 charge for a poop test and costs of a follow up visit. Keep in mind when you purchase a pet what the quality of the establishment is and if they know what they are selling and if they will stand behind what they sell. Some may have been lucky purchasing from here but i advise it is not a trustworthy pet shop.

I went into redeem some coupons I had and the exact items I needed were not available and the owner was willing to see if she could order them. Since it was trial sized and just two cans of food, I did not want to bother her with it since coupons were expiring. The following week, I got a coupon for a size of dog food that I saw that the shop carried. I was able to get a $18.99 bag of premium dog food for just the cost of sales tax which made me very happy. They carry lots of specialty treats for your furry companions.

Pike County is a NO KILL shelter that has had dogs there as long as 4-5 years and even adopted at that age. He was very honest with me that Biscuit was not housebroken so that there would be no misguided expectations. She's a wonderful dog and she's in the process of being trained and she's responding well. I love her to pieces and will be giving my yearly donation to Pike County going forward.
