So, I wanted to wait until I'd visited a few times to write a review. Their taro boba tea is delish as is the avocado veggie sandwich. Excellent service. As others have noted, the parking lot is so damn tight at times that it's scary to try to get in and out with even a compact car. Came here on a Sunday morning for my LA donut tour. I tried 3 different donuts that can make or break a donut shop; raised, cake, and old fashioned. I had a fruit loop raised donut where the donut itself was just ok. Not as light or fluffy on the inside as I have tried at other spots. The fruit loops cereal on top was also stale. I have been coming here since 2000/01. Lots of memories here, I remember when they had the little arcade area for kids, my parents would talk over a cup of coffee with friends while I played game with my friends lol. Anyways, this place is family friendly, the donuts are ok/good I guess? I'm not a pastry person lol but Inlove their shakes, bobas, and sandwiches. You can customize what you order too, their customer service is top tier! They're usually always busy, but sometimes you can catch them with little to no line. I have been going to Golden Donuts since I was 10 years old. I still remember the original two ladies and the owner always being so kind. Going before school or after school, just to go, before work or after work. As years went by they have never changed the food quality, of course prices for everything has gone up but they have to me and my family amazing prices when it comes to the food, drinks, and ice creams. You have been warned. My wife and I came to this place for milkshakes. I noticed they pulled the milk out of a refrigerator that wasn't plugged in. The door was just kept cracked open like no big deal. I asked if the milk was warm and spoiled and they said no the fridge is fine. I say no thank you never mind and they all of a sudden didn't know not one English word. They got defensive and continued to ignore me asking for my money. Keep in mind the milkshakes are never even made. They blatantly kept our money. No shakes no money. Saw that the place had bahn mi so I thought I'd check it out rather than drive 20 minutes to the closest Lee's. I got an iced coffee and a pork sandwich. The sandwich was excellent; the bread was toasted and it had all the fixings I was looking for - carrots, cilantro, mayo, cucumber, jalapenos and tender pork. Will definitely come back for another one of those. The iced coffee was way too sweet (and I have a total sweet tooth if that tells you anything) and I couldn't finish it, but the smoothies looked good, so maybe that's the way to go. Like some have mentioned, very small parking lot but amazingly inexpensive prices for some very tasty treats. Bacon & Egg Croissant $3.50, Boba Smoothie $3.25. Croissant sandwich was delicious. Crispy bacon, fluffy eggs. Boba Smoothie was also great. We had Mango Berry with Boba and strawberry banana with Boba.
