The Filipino-inspired donuts here are Filipino approved! I got the Ube Overload and Pistachio Calamansi donuts here and both were delicious. Both were fluffy and did not feel too heavy. The Ube Overload had great Ube flavoring and the cream filling was light and enjoyable. My favorite of the two. The Pistachio Calamansi was great as well and I like how it wasn't too tart since it is a citrus flavor. However, I would've liked a little more Calamansi flavor for it to be perfect. I love a good donut, and SK was the perfect pick-me-up! And I loved all of the unique flavors. I couldn't decide between the pistachio and Ferrero Rocher, so I got both to share with some friends. The staff were so sweet and were so excited to discuss the flavor profile of each donut. To honor my first time visiting, they offered me a glazed donut to try complimentary with the two-donut purchase. I love that the donuts are more of a cake consistency. Very decadent, very good. -- Red velvet cream cheese (12/10): my favorite of the bunch. It's pretty to look at, and it's pretty in taste. Soft, moist, and with the slightest tang of the cream cheese from the thick, marvelous frosting. I do love a cake donut, and this one takes the cake! -- Boston cream (7/10): sadly, this was the weakest of the group.
