    Donuts

100% worth the hype. Some of the best donuts I've had. My mom who is a Krispy Kreme fan said she thought these were better - which is extremely high praise. I think I agree. The glazed ones are the best followed by the chocolate glaze. I didn't like the cake donuts as much. Parking lot onsite and they also have a drive through but it's kind of tricky to get to depending on which side you enter, so I just parked. No indoor seating just a pickup window. Staff were friendly.

Great fast service! I ordered my go-to, the cinnamon roll. It is so soft and delicious. The cinnamon pairs perfectly with the glaze. It's a treat to have Randy's donuts in our neighborhood.

Stopped by Randy's and got the chocolate crème-filled donut. It was fresh, soft, and had plenty of filling in every bite. The chocolate frosting wasn't overly sweet, which balanced the rich cream nicely. Definitely lived up to the hype, and I'd order it again.

Huge donuts! My group ordered a dozen but we only needed one each. Ample parking. Quick service. Clean parking lot. An unnecessary tip prompt.

I'm not really a Donut guy so I honestly wouldn't know how to rate them. I got the plain glaze and a plain glaze twist. They both were soft, sweet, and pretty good. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. I will say that this place is a tourist attraction and destination. You can't go to Randy's without seeing a bunch of folks from out of town taking pictures. There is always a long line outside and in the drive through so I'm guessing that it is for a reason and this place must be good.

Random side quest while visiting LA, while driving we stumbled upon Randy's and I couldn't believe my eyes. We had to get a donut and settled on a classic glazed to see if Tony Stark knew good donuts. It was great! They are freshly made, soft, sweet and delicious. Only complaint is it's a little bit pricey for the donuts but they are fresh. I would love to return if I'm ever in LA

    Glazed Rounds, Iced Rounds???

Used the drive -thru on 8/5/26, ordered 3 dozen rounds. Requested iced and glazed rounds. Paid $30. When i was handed the box I inquired if contained all 3 dozen rounds. I was told it did. Arrived at work and noticed that the box only had 2 dozen. To make matters worse, the donuts were stale and I was given Topped Rounds not the Iced Rounds I ask for. I called the donut shop a few times that day to report the discrepancy but no one ever picked up the phone.

We checked this place out before flying out of LAX and had a good experience. They have a wide selection of items on their menu. We tried the original glazed raised and the chocolate raised. The donuts were huge and delicious. For the price ($7ish total for 3 donuts) the donut size matches the price. It would be like ordering 2 donuts at our local place. We will definitely be back when in the area to try more items.

Tony Stark has been known to hang out here. But unlike the movie there's no inside to sit in.

Made famous by Tony Stark we stumbled onto Randy's enroute from the airport. We wanted to stop in so there we were. The donuts we had were pretty great with the exception of the long John that was light on creme. My chocolate crondy - a croissant donut combo - was really great. But we only ordered 4 because they were pricey and the wait was far too long. We watched easily 3 parties leave the line because they didn't want to wait longer. Made it better for us, but still. Two people should be able to handle a drive thru and walk up window far faster. And $18 for 4 donuts is silly. But I guess that's so SoCal.

My favorite donuts in Los Angeles! Also the best for deliveries. They secure the boxes with stickers.

Ordered a strawberry jelly filled, devil's food cake, and chocolate old fashioned this morning! Also got a mocha iced coffee. The devil's food cake and chocolate old fashioned were a little dry but our favorite was the strawberry! We'll have to come back to try the other ones.

As this was ranked one of the best donuts in Los Angeles, I had to try it out on my visit I've had many donuts in the past - but I think this one has the absolute best 'base' I've ever had The actual fried dough on this donut is absolutely incredible. It's a bit oily, unbelievably soft, and somehow the perfect amount of flaky and crispy. On my first bite I was basically in heaven due to how amazing this dough was. I've been to other famous donut places, and this dough just blows those out of the water. It's almost like you're biting through nothing - that's how soft it was The toppings here was pretty simple - a layer of vanilla icing and a few basic oreo pieces. I would've liked them to have been a little more, like oreo crumbles throughout or more oreo pieces added - but the quality of the pieces was very good, especially the vanilla icing The price isn't too expensive either - and there was basically no line when I went (albeit in the evening)

You've got to stop by here when visiting LA. There was abundant parking, a well explained menu (even though I still messed up on ordering what I wanted), and the donuts were soft and fresh. The staff was friendly, efficient, and i'd definitely visit in the future.

Randy's Donuts Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Randy's Donuts

I stopped to get donut holes, but while waiting, I noticed how many donuts are sitting out in the open.... (a flies or gnat's dream) What is being done to keep flies and gnats off of the donuts?

We've never had any problems with flies or gnats. You could mention your concerns to the manager. They are very nice and I'm sure would welcome your feedback.

Do you fry donuts in the same oil as bacon?

Randy's has a separate building next door where The donuts are made. The donuts are not fried in the same oil. They wouldn't do that because the bacon flavor is strong and would make every donut taste like bacon.

    Who owns Randys Donuts?

Purchase by Mark Kelegian. He has added multiple franchise locations

When or how often do they make their donuts (ie do they just make them in the early morning or several times a day?

We have bakers working almost 24 hours a day. With almost 60 varieties they are working on different kinds of donuts at different times.

Hey Randy's Donuts, wanna ship me some of your delicious, classic glazed donuts to NY 🤤 😢?

Same!!! I wish they shipped them to NYC as well... we can only get their merchandise delivered to us, and I'm not above wearing one of their big donut shirts! 🤣

Will you be making the LA Rams doughnut's?

We will have them back Friday, February 11!

Difference of raised and iced donut?

Hello! We have basic 2 types of donuts Raised and cake…

Does the iced latte have an almond milk option?

    yes it does!

Does Randy's have boxes of to go coffee like for a group of people?

Yes! They are 96oz. We call them a carafe. We serve them with cups, lids, creamers and sugars

Can I buy only 2 donuts? Not a box Thank you for answering ☺️☺️☺️

Yep, you can bring as many or as little donuts! You can even just buy 1 donut if you like. :)

Do they use lard in any of their donuts?

Nope! We fry in soybean oil. We do have bacon on our maple bacon long john. (Only other pork…

Any possibility of the mint raised being brought back? I'm sooo devastated it was discontinued :(

Why did they stop making tigertails?

Hi Julie! We are sorry to say, we stopped making the tiger tail. Unfortunately production of these speciality donuts was very time consuming and the demand for them was not…

What oil do they fry with?

Hi Juliette, I thought your question had a great deal of merit so I contacted Randy's directly and was informed that they use sunflower oil. I additionally asked if there was…

Does anyone know what kind of oil they fry in?

Soybean. I called them to check!

What type of oil does Randy's use for frying their donuts?

    Soybean oil

I can't find sizing chart for the merch, did anyone get their T-shirt/hoodie and can tell me what company makes them? Maybe I can check on their website. Thank you!

It looks like their baseball tee is made by Sport-Tek (or Sport-Tex). See the pic at http://randysdonuts.com/product/baseball-tee-red/

What is a vegan donut!? Same as a veggie donut?

Vegan means no dairy or eggs. Unless it's a bacon donut, all donuts are vegetarian. :)

Is their hot chocolate made with water or milk?

    There's milk and water

    Open on Christmas?

Randy's will be closed all day on Christmas. I just spoke with them personally.

Jackson market as a whole in terms of ambiance, variety, taste definitely overtakes bay cities but if you're just talking about comparing food quality sand which to sand which it will be a tough TIE (it's not less) than bay cities. Bay cities is loaded and so is Jackson but bay cities is a little more juicier where the inside sandwich ingredients shine more and you can definitely taste each of the ingredients eg banana peppers meats deli cheese etc. Jackson market's Italian sub had harder bread but I could see like some would argue it's more balanced. It definitely is a little less juicy and even though there were complimentary banana peppers I hardly tasted it at all as it was sprinkled far and few. If you paid for an added topping eg. Jalepenos they were definitely generous with it. Tip: DO NOT get the French baguette toasted as it'll be too hard. The market is fun because it also offers wine selections ($20-$60), not a fun cheese selection like bay cities, pasta salad, bomb tiramisu, has an entire PIZZA OVEN in the back, fun canned drinks including GUAYABA (an aloe tasting like drink), pastries, and chips/snacks. Ambiance - the patio in the back is spacious and big. They don't allow you to bring a computer to work there and the WiFi and service is pretty bad there. Parking - street parking along residential homes 2 subs ($14.99/each), 2 drinks, 1 large chip ($4.95) came out to be around $44. Overall an amazing find. The 10/10 would come back & especially try the pizza. Revolutionary in food taste ? Probably not but revolutionary in enjoyability and spot find? 1000%. Happy munching !
