Made famous by Tony Stark we stumbled onto Randy's enroute from the airport. We wanted to stop in so there we were. The donuts we had were pretty great with the exception of the long John that was light on creme. My chocolate crondy - a croissant donut combo - was really great. But we only ordered 4 because they were pricey and the wait was far too long. We watched easily 3 parties leave the line because they didn't want to wait longer. Made it better for us, but still. These donuts, man. Whenever I have guests from out of town, it almost feels like you have to go to Randy's. People ask about it, they see the pictures, and when you bring a box, they do not disappoint. I usually just get an assorted box. They literally have something for everyone. I try not to get too many for myself, but that maple and the lemon old fashioned are hard to pass up. There are a couple of favorites I always look for, and they are usually in the box along with new ones for other people to try. I also really like how they set up the pricing. They have the donuts listed as classic, deluxe, fancy, and premium, so you know exactly what you are choosing and how to mix and match. It makes ordering for a group a lot easier. There is often a long line, but this last time I walked up and got helped right away, which was a nice surprise. Randy's Donuts continues to be a go to spot for me. I woke up with an absolute hankering for Randy's Donuts which I've ironically only had in Las Vegas (Moved to LA last year). I went from sleeping, to being in a car heading to Inglewood in a matter of five minutes and the mission was on. The Inglewood location had a short line in the drive through and we were able to get in and out in maybe three minutes. I ordered a glaze donut, an m&m donut, and a cookies and cream donut and let me tell you, all three of them were absolutely fantastic. The m&m one has always been my favourite at Randy's and this location was no different. The dough is soft and the candy and chocolate on top were fantastic. The glaze donut was also really good and let's be real, obviously so was the cookies and cream one. Overall, Randy's Donuts is probably my favourite donut chain and I'm not sure it even has competition. The staff here was great, the drive through was super quick, and the donuts were fantastic. We make frequent trips to Los Angeles, and every time we go, we always try to stop at this Randy's location. We do have a Randy's in Vegas now, but honestly, it just doesn't compare. Nothing beats the quality we get from this location. On our last visit, I was in desperate need for a good cup of joe. The coffee here was exactly what I needed, piping hot, flavorful, and delicious. The donuts were on point as always, fresh, soft, and everything you want in a sweet treat. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I absolutely love. Randy's donuts is that spot! Prepare yourself, the drive-thru may have you blocking traffic but the staff moves the line pretty quick so you won't have to spiral for long. It's worth the hassle but parking and walking up to the order window is less stressful if you have the time. The crondy! Croissant-donut hybrid had me AND my kids in a chokehold. This place deserves so much. I love the idea of a 4$ discount on a dozen of donuts. I got 35 donuts and 8$ off my order. So the total of 35 donuts came down to be 76$. Regular price. I was buying it omw to give it out to restaurant workers and I had to go there quickly, but the speed of preparation of this facility is insane. They got me all those donuts in a matter of 2-3 minutes. I thought I would have to wait at least 10-15 mins but no - the speed is awesome. The cleanliness of the location could see some improvement and the location speakers were a little bit confusing or was it a guy taking my order - idk. I didn't understand if he was asking me or saying smth so at the end we just decided to roll up to the next window. I've always seen this iconic donut spot in a few movies and I pass it on the freeway all the time, so I finally drove in to check it out. I grabbed two donuts. The Oreo and the red velvet. The Oreo donut is exactly what you expect. Soft donut, chocolate glaze, and real Oreo pieces on top. You get the cream and cookie in every bite and the donut itself still comes through. Sweet but not over the top and the crunch from the cookies makes it really good. The red velvet was different but in a good way. Light donut with white icing and red crumbs all over it. For me the cake donuts were a little too dense and the flavors weren't there, especially the cherry which was our least favorite. Ordering takes a little while depending on the line. Randy's is one of those LA institutions that you have to try at least once, whether you like donuts or not. Though they now have several locations around LA, visiting the Inglewood location with its giant donut is a necessary thing to tick off the bucket list. They do a small dedicated carpark right where Randy's is located. It's located on a pretty busy street without any street parking. The only times I've been here are in the morning, and though there have always been other customers there in the morning, the line has always moved quickly. Service is always friendly but quick, and we generally receive our food within five minutes. This is very much a grab and go place, there is no seating whatsoever. I've tried a number of different donuts here, but on my most recent visit, I got the cinnamon roll. This happened to be the first cinnamon roll that I'd ever tried, so I don't have much of a baseline for comparison. It was very sweet, as expected. At times, they have a blue Dodgers cream-filled donut, which is always delicious. I do think their donuts are superior to the cinnamon roll. read more
