If I could leave a minus star rating I would! We used Tracey, the previous owner, for many years and for several dogs, and we're always extremely happy with her ability and her knowledge. Unfortunately, she left town and the kids who are running the grooming salon now are awful! They are nice enough, however, they shaved my wheaten terrier's ears without telling us about it and gave him the worst haircut ever! I will never take another dog there again. We have used Golden-Do's grooming several times now. My Yorkies are not easy to groom. I used to do it myself so I was amazed how well they did. My older Yorkie is the most difficult, but always looks great. They were groomed today and when we went to pick them up they were sitting together calmly while other large dogs were there. I have been contemplating writing this review for 3 weeks now, because I really wanted to believe that the owners of this business care about me and my dog. But, it turns out I was very naive and optimistic because this woman has 0 knowledge of communication, humanity, and she is a full blown liar. If you care about your dogs well being and care, don't take them here AT ALL!!! My dog was hurt at Tracey's establishment on 7/29/23. Tracey initially lied to me and said that Luna had a scratch and a drop of blood on her leg. Once I picked up my dog, I opened her bandage and her leg was actively bleeding with a bad scar. I immediately took her to an urgent care where they told me they were happy I brought her in, because her leg would have NEVER healed on its own. They believe that Luna was attacked by another dog due to the fact that there was a scratch above the gash and the gash was in a upside down V cut on her ligament, but there was no hair missing and Tracey supposedly has "no idea" how it happened. Which even if she doesn't, it shows the lack of responsibility and care for the animals brought to this poorly managed establishment. I immediately notified Tracey of this update and she tried to tell me that Luna's "scratch must've torn into a scar because she moved her leg" even though Luna had been sitting from the moment I picked her up and the vet said that isn't even possible even if Luna was to run. Skin does not go from a gentle scratch to a full blown GASH from movement. She then said she would reimburse me for the vet visit and she was taking full responsibility for the fact that my dog was harmed in her establishment under their care. I told Tracey I would send her every update and the vet bills in emails and texts which again, she agreed to pay for. Tracey NEVER followed up to ask me about my dog or how she was doing and then completely started to ignore my emails and texts regarding bills and Luna's complications. We have paid well over $3K on this issue and I have yet to hear back from Tracey or her insurance company. My dog has been in agony for 3 weeks in pain with an infection, because a part of her skin was torn so terribly that they could not stitch it together. There was not enough skin for them to stitch it and we have had to go to the vet every 3 days to check on it and make sure the infection isn't developing which it is. I followed up with Tracey SEVERAL times since and I have yet to hear back from her. Do not take your dog here. Take them somewhere that actually cares about your pets nearly as much as you do. read more

My dogs have never been so loved or well taken care of by Tracey and her team! And they don't gouge you on costs like other groomers I have used. My dogs don't even mind going to the groomer because they know it's play time and they'll get lots of love and attention. And they always look so cute when they come home! read more

This is such a great place! It's in a super cute little shopping center. The ladies are very kind and they care! I took my pup Ringo in snd they noticed he had fleas.... Like a lot! He got them when we boarded him a few weeks ago. They took their time with him, and let us know what we can do to better help him. We moved down from Philly and we were in need of a new groomer for our Goldendoodle! The day we called they had a cancellation and were able to fit us in which was wonderful! When we got their they were very friendly and spoke with me about specifics of the cut. They actually were honest about the type of cut they thought was best which I loved. Tracey and Brittany are the best. My pup Bogart loves to go to Golden Do's; his tail becomes a propeller when he walks in the door he is so excited to see them. And when he walks out the door, the tail is still wagging and he looks dashing. Golden Do's make grooming fun for my pup. They do a great job making my bulldog, bearded collie shitzu mix look great! I would NOT bring my dog here ever again. I have had the opportunity to work with groomers in the past due to my occupation, and I am very disappointed with the service I received today. The people were very nice, but the work on my dog was clearly rushed. He had a wound on his paw prior to the appointment, and we made a clear point to make them aware of this injury. The wound was healing but unfortunately was reopened during the grooming process. In addition, when leaving the appointment we noticed his other 3 paws were also injured/bleeding that were in good condition before the appointment. Furthermore, when we arrived at the store there were dogs not in a kennel and were roaming around. That made me and my dog feel very uncomfortable. We also noticed more irritation on my dog's belly which is more understandable due to mats and such. All in all, I would not recommend Golden-Do's Grooming due to the unhealthy environment they have created for the dogs. read more
