I bring my dog only sporadically and the first couple of times he acted like he always does when I drop home off somewhere- like I'm abandoning him forever. Only a few visits in though, and he runs in like he owns the place- doesn't even look back at me. He loves little dogs (he is 65 lbs - not little at all) and I love that they recognized that and if there is space and the little dogs don't mind, they will put him in with the little ones. I always hear about what friends he made that day and he he always looks tired and happy. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a doggie cam. I was very stressed leaving him the first few times because you can't see the space at all and you're not allowed to tour it. I'm completely comfortable taking him there now, but would have gotten there sooner if I could have a tour or see the space for myself. read more

NOT happy once again, and always ONLY when Roxanne is working. Don't get me wrong, Poochies does have some great employees but she is def not one of them. I thought I wld give poochies another chance while she was working, ((had recent bad experiencesw her) so, I call ahead onky to be told "there was no room for my 2 dogs" interesting cuz any other time they have no room, they wld send an email out saying so. In all honesty it was my wife's idea (pls don't tell her, she's been rubbing my nose in it since the start) and at first I wasn't keen on it, but in the end it was a great idea. Busy at work and a bit too mischievous at home while in puppy phase, this is the perfect solution. After reading the overwhelmingly complimentary reviews we thought we were in great hands. From Shelby's first day, with very slight apprehension, to the next day she jumped out of the truck and never looked back. This is entirely due from Bond, the owner and every single lady working there!!! They ALWAYS greet you and the pup with the upmost enthusiasm every time. This provides the owners with a wonderful peace of mind, but a testament to the dedicated staff. While I dislike missing names (because all the ladies are wonderful), Sidney the manager is a sweetheart and you can see her love for the job and the animals. While I've never had any of my prio packs in daycare, if I was try to conceive and design one, Bond & Tom have achieved puppy (all ages too) heaven. My dog's favorite day of the week is daycare day at Poochie's! She can't handle her excitement at the word "daycare" I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My dog is very energetic and LOVES attention, and they have been so wonderful with giving her all the love and activity she needs while I'm at work. She mostly goes just for the day, however she has stayed overnight 2 times and I have never been disappointed. Even with scheduling problems around the holidays, they were so accommodating and helpful. If you want an evening of relaxation rather than entertaining your dog this is the place to go! read more

I've taken my now 2 year old dog to Poochie's since he was a wee 6 month old pup. He loves it there and so do I. The dogs visit Poochie's first for a temperament test to see how they get along with the other dogs and once the staff sees that they are a good fit, it's off to the races! I know my dog is happy and well cared for when I have to work long hours. He's also not confined to a crate, which is what makes Poochie's so amazing. I pick him up after work and he's exhausted from running and playing all day. He is a golden retriever with endless energy, but thanks to Poochie's staff and the other sweet dogs there that I call his "friends", he always comes home to nap for several hours. read more

I was referred to this Doggie Daycare from my neighbor who raved about how much her dog loves being there. My Jack Chi is a friendly little guy but overweight because i don't have a yard for him to run around & get the amount of exercise his breed requires. Daily walking isn't enough. I visited this place today to see if it would be a good place for him. First off, no one can enter because there's a security gate & it's far off from where the dogs play. Plus humans are not allowed where the dogs are. Also there is 5 or 6' galvanized fencing around 2.5 acres for them to play. That all impressed me. They test the dog with other dogs to check out their temperament before anything. Upon arriving, your asked for vet info, rabies cert & shots. They provide half says or full days. I opted for half which is 5 hrs or less. My cost is $20.00 You have the flexibility to drop off or pick up at your convenience. For larger dogs who love the water, they have a pool. They separate dogs by weight, another good policy. Your first day is free. They also have a shed they built for a Pet Store. It's super adorable filled with dog treats etc My dog is attached to my hip, my constant shadow therefore he kept watching through the fence looking for me instead of socializing with the other dogs. I think because he came from a shelter, he may wonder if he's going back? But I believe he will get used to it once he knows I'm coming to pick him up to go home. If your dog needs socializing or sitting for a few hours, this is the place. read more

Awful grooming and poor service all around. When I started to bring my dog there it was great. Slowly it went down hill really fast. Sadly I noticed it more once one of their main employees tragically passed away. I didn't get any type of an apology when the groomer hurt my dog which is only 10lbs. She was in pain for at least a week with her lady parts. It broke our hearts and on top of that the groomer did not follow the picture I sent for the look we wanted her to have. My other dog which just turned one year old was banned because she is still in a playful biting stage which of course our family does not allow. Unfortunately this is what puppies do. As a day care they are suppose to support discipline that behaviour just as you would with a child. Well I would purchase packages for their daycare services and once my rotti was banned I still had three days left. The owner was suppose to refund me, but it's like pulling teeth. Now mind you it's only a $150 approximately but it is more about the principal to me. What once was a great place is now a disaster. The owner can barely keep the place open due to staffing issues. I would stay clear of this place. The owner doesn't care about her clients at all. She shows no remorse for hurting my dog from the grooming and she likes to keep money that doesn't belong to her. My son's dog was driving me crazy missing him, as he's deployed, and the dog park was not doing it. Kai has been here before last year. I needed her to socialize and get tuckered out. Well they did NOT DISAPPOINT! By the time I got her, she was so tuckered out, that she was leaning against the car seat all the way home and fell asleep as soon as we got home.
