Great great food hidden away in the Seabra strip mall. Definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem.

Downtown joint dabbling in both old school Chinese American classics and authentic dim sum. Most of…read morethe Yelp photos hit the dim sum, but most of the customers in the large room stick to memory lane. The place is divided into two halves: tiny bar and three rows of booths on one side; large tables with chairs on the other side. Combo plates available both at lunch (M-F) and dinner (any time). -- Sticky Sweet Soy Garlic Sauce Wings: Wow-worthy, with the darkest sauce I've ever seen, looking like someone poured Hershey's syrup on them. Characteristics of teriyaki, soy, and garlic, and intense sweetness, but all balanced and very different, and there may even be Hershey's in there afterall. More importantly, quite delicious. The wings themselves were really good too, bringing firm to crispy skins and tender, juicy interiors. The sauce hardens over time, so eat these fast. But you'll want to anyway. Near-elite to elite. -- Rice Noodle with Shrimp: Lackluster compared to other versions I've tried. Noodle not as fresh and slippery. Sauce not as flavorful. Shrimp were good but spaced out. Below average. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken (on a dinner combo): Ping pong sized/shaped balls of chicken instead of the usual fingers, but these were excellent. Very high meat to batter ratio, good crispness to the exterior, and decent tenderness inside. Sauce served in the side. No pineapples or cherries, but good contrasting flavors to the sauce and no glop. Well above average, even without the fruit. -- Pork Fried Rice (on the combo): A mixed bag, this had light grains with pleasant but subtle flavor, long-in-the-tooth dry pork nuggetry, and some onions. Flavorful or not, that rice had freshness, moistness, and bounce. All things considered, a little above average, but with potential for higher. -- Egg Roll (on the combo): Felt limp to the touch but had a delicate crispness to it. Inside, a mix of celery, cabbage, and pork, with decent flavor and a moo shi feel. Not bad. A little above average. Lots of ups and downs here, but a reluctant 4 stars thanks to the brilliance of those wings. I scouted plates on other tables on my way to the restroom and saw similar highs and lows, but more highs. Even if the potential goes unfulfilled (and I have higher hopes for the old school than the dim sim), the wings alone would bring me back.

They were good. We also got the aromatic chicken clay pot (delicious) and the black pepper steak. A dish of garlic bok choy completed the meal selection. Good food, nice flavors, good prices.

Was so pleasantly surprised. NGL based on the name I always assumed Jahunger was Jamaican but it is indeed a Uyghur restaurant. I got the Jahunger Noodles with tofu and I really liked it. Good flavors and love that they have tofu / are accessible to other diets. I did think the dish was a little too oily but I still would get it again and have since I first tried. The honey cake is also delicious! They call it "not your average honey cake) but I've not had an average one to compare to, so the hunt continues lol. My only complaint is that all the dishware is plastic. I ordered one of the teas and the entire pot with the boiling water was plastic...not a fan of that.

The lamb skewers were tender, light seasoning and little gamey but not overly. I really enjoyed the meefeen, it definitely has a kick to it. The rice noodle was nothing I have had before. I was expecting the typical thin rice noodle from a package but these were the real thing. They were thick and the perfect texture. It's like the thickness of udon but texture of rice noodle. It is a tad oily which makes sense because I think the sauce is made with chili oil. I also tried the honey cake. The cake is moist, and paired well with the ice cream. I did not put much of the honey on top because it was already really sweet as is. It was an enjoyable slice of cake to finish the meal off. Great place and delicious food! I would order here again but open to try their other items than re-ordering what I had today.

The prices definitely reflect being in the heart Downtown but I love that they still have the VIP rewards program. I've gotten takeout and dined in- I feel the prices are a little more justified when dining-in since the view is fantastic- a nice place for a fancy splurge! Sushi in general is pretty ok here- for example, the uni didn't seem super fresh, tasted a little bit off- but not everyone has uni these days so it's a nice treat... Large menu with something to please for everyone including a good beer/wine and alcohol selection. My bandmate craves the Shanghai noodles here so i'll usually grab a simple spicy salmon roll when we go (or a French Crunchy Roll if I'm feeling fancy). I love a good yellowtail jalapeño but the sauce on this one was a little bit thick/heavy in comparison to the North Providence Jacky's- still good but I prefer the lighter/fresher one. Overall, I would recommend for a fancy Downtown splurge with great city views but I think the N.P. location is more consistent as far as the sushi quality. *If you order takeout, make sure to check your order before you leave I would say price for value this place is 4.5 stars but I always round up for local places that I like to support- plus, the service here is also super friendly... did I mention the views?!!!

I started with a lychee martini and it was excellent -- strong, clean, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. You could actually taste the lychee instead of just sugar. The wonton soup was a great way to start the meal. Good depth of flavor, light but satisfying, and a perfect portion. The tuna tartare was the standout for me. It's easily my favorite item on the menu so far -- rich, fresh, and really well composed. For my entrée, I ordered the tricolor, which features three varieties of fish. Each one was prepared thoughtfully and cooked well, with distinct flavors that didn't compete with each other. Overall, a really solid dinner. Great drinks, strong seafood options, and a lively bar atmosphere. I'd absolutely order the martini and tuna tartare again.

Their menu selection is extensive and well priced! They also give rather large portion sizes, and have an " all you can eat" option starting at just $35 per person! They have a variety of options, including those for meat lovers and vegetarians alike! The addition of sesame balls and shrimp dumplings on the side is also a must, as they offer ( as the name says) various selections of delicious dumplings! In regard to the restaurant ambiance and layout, the Hot Pot section is located on the second floor and offers large tables with the heated pad for the hot pot. They also have a large selection of condiments and add-ons to the hot pot on the side of the restaurant. Lastly the servers were very kind and apologetic even after they gave us a non-fully vegetarian broth ( the mushroom name was misleading) and even offered to give us an entirely new pot. I thought this was very sweet and considerate of them. Overall, the experience at this restaurant was wonderful and we will definitely be back for more.

We looked at the different options - AYCE hot pot and hot pot value combo meal. We went with the AYCE hot pot. There are 2 course options - A or B for a 2 hours time limit. Different items are included with each course option. The dipping sauce and fruit bar are included in both course options. The dipping sauce bar had many different options. The fruit bar included oranges and cantaloupe. Also, there was pickled radish and this was a great side. The A COURSE is $35.95/per person. First step is choosing a soup base. We went with half Japanese Style Pork Bone Broth and half Mala Beef Tallow Broth. We ordered all the seafood/ball options - Cuttlefish Ball, Shrimp Ball, Fish Ball, Fish Tofu, and Quail Egg. From the meat options, we ordered Chef Selected Beef, Australian Lamb, and Pork Belly. From the vegetables options, we ordered Napa Cabbage and Baby Bok Choy, From mushroom options, we ordered both the Enoki Mushroom and Black Fungus. From the tofu options, we ordered Fresh Tofu and Fried Tofu. From the noodles options, we ordered Glass Noodle and Ramen. All the items were very fresh and the staff were very attentive. They came by to refill the broth and ask if we wanted to order more. We all had a great time around a giant pot of flavored broth and took turns dipping in raw ingredients at 12 Dumplings. It is perfect on a winter day and we were stuffed. I can't wait to come back to try their dumplings and dim sum.

Come on ... how much does it cost you to actually throw in a tiny cup of hot mustard? I mean, who doesn't eat hot mustard with Chinese food? It used to be that Chinese food was a fast and cheap dinner ... a combo meal here is $18, after substitution. I want to know ... who the fuck has ever actually eaten a shitty chicken wing from a Chinese restaurant without substituting it out? Probably nobody. You eat fresh BBQ chicken wings at a tailgate, not from a dirty restaurant the size of a college dorm room. Of course they know any sane person with working taste buds will substitute nasty skimpy wings for something else ... so they include them in every combo meal knowing people will pony up the extra $1.50 - $2.50. A combo with 3 crab rangoon, 3 chicken fingers (substituted for wings) and an egg roll now costs almost $20. The quality here is on par with a mall food court ... which is to say, not great. Dry AF fried rice with fatty cubes of pork which have the consistency and taste of a pencil eraser. The rice was almost chewy it was so dry amd barely tasted like pencil shavings it was so bland. The crab rangoon was decent ... filled with fake cream cheese and almost no crab. If you are drunk, it's fine and filling. Nothing you couldn't throw in an air fryer from a frozen box. The chicken fingers were okay. Likeky frozen a year ago and thrown into a deep fat frier hours before you ordered and kept under a heat lamp. If you are drunk or high, you'll leave a 4/5 star review. If you are unfortunately sober when you eat this, it will remind you of the dsys you'd scrape your lawn mowing money together and splurge on Chinese food from the mall food court when you were in middle school. Overall, this is buffet food served as fresh made. The fact that everything had almost zero taste ... they better start putting hot mustard and soy sauce in orders unless that want continued 2/3 stars. Bottom line ... I was hoping for good old fashioned American style strip mall Chinese food. What I got ... sucked.
