We have ordered from here several times and it has been very good each time!! We always have it delivered and they are always here by the time the say, the food is always HOT and the portions are huge, so there are always leftovers for lunch! Things I have enjoyed from here... Won-ton Soup Crab Rangoon's Egg Roll General Tso's Chicken Orange Chicken Pork Fried Rice I didn't LOVE the Chicken Lo Mein. It was just your average take out Lo-Mein. Nothing over the top. We always complain that there are no good Chinese restaurants around anymore. So many places may be good one time, but terrible every other time you try it. Then there are others that are so bad you won't even give them another chance! Running out of options, and craving one of all Americans' favorite cousins, we decided to give Dim Sum a try. Their menu is typical for a Chinese restaurant, so I ordered my standard orange chicken combo and hot and sour soup. Their orange chicken is flawless! The right amount of orange flavor and the right amount of heat (of course you can specify when ordering). Their fried rice is good, but not as amazing as the chicken. Their egg rolls are very good as well. Apparently there are as many ways to make hot and sour soup as there are places that make it. But Dim Sum does it the way that I like. Heavy on the tofu, egg, and mushrooms, and little to no meat. Flavor is spot on! If you go to their website you can order food online (always a nice feature). Their drivers are nothing but friendly and polite. Most importantly, we have ordered from here multiple times and they are consistent! One of my go to spots! Best Teriyaki Beef, Boneless spare ribs and Egg Rolls in the city! The owner Tony is a good guy and always polite. Any problems have always been taken care of right away. The portions for the price are outstanding! I love the General Tso which is a little spicy but perfect in my opinion. Always hot and received in under 40 minutes from ordering. Give it a try! Oh my god! The people who wrote these reviews must have cast iron stomachs! In August 2019 I took a chance and ordered the shrimp lunch plate. It tasted kinda funny so I fed it to the neighborhood stray cats. At 3AM I was awakened with the worst case of dysentery I have ever had in my entire life! And vomiting. It didn't stop and continued for 4 days. I finally had to go to the ER. I was so weak from fluid loss I couldn't stand. It turned out to be food poisoning. In a heat wave yet. I will never eat Chinese food again, unless I make it myself. Be for warned, you don't know what goes on behind closed doors I didn't want to give any stars but they make give one, why I don't know. I order takeout here once or twice per month--usually including sweet and sour chicken and general tso's. Their mixed veggies and crab puffs are also excellent. Some of their dishes are excellent and some are so-so, but as long as I stick to my favorites I'm always happy. The food arrives hot in about half an hour and is a really good value for the amount you get. We always have leftovers. read more

As a Fall Riverite, Chow Mein must be made perfectly! I love Dim Sum's beef chow mein! I'm not always a fan of their General Tso's chicken but we definitely have never had a bad egg roll or chicken fingers. Their lo mein is usually perfect, as well as their won ton soup. We ordered a pu pu platter, pineapple chicken, and a soda. The only consumable item was the soda. The teriyaki beef was like shoe leather, the shrimp toast was hard as a rock and impossible to chew, the chicken fingers tasted horrible, the spare ribs were so overcooked and dry they were inedible, and the flavor of the pineapple chicken was simply rancid. They say you eat with your eyes first, I really wish I had gone with my instinct and simply thrown the food out when I saw it looking so pathetic.... In short: Save your money, you can do far better for Chinese food in this city! read more

I am very impressed with the service and knowledge of the cooks at this restaurant. My daughter was having a Kung Fu Panda themed party for her 5th birthday and I wanted to surprise her with the dumplings from the movie that she had asked me for few times. I went to a few local Chinese restaurants and showed them a picture and they simple said they don't make them. I then went to Dim Sum and they knew exactly what they were and possible variations . They are called bao and are not on the menu, but they make the recipe for family. They agreed to make them for me on very short notice (I needed them for the next day) after I explained the circumstances. They gave detailed instructions how to reheat for the party and packaged them nicely for transport. They were delicious-pork filling surrounded by fluffy bread like dough. They looked exactly like the ones in the movie and they were a hit at the party. My daughter loved them. I've lived in Fall River for about a year now. I've tried a few Chinese places, and so far this is the best I've had. The food is excellent, my girl loves the Broccoli and shrimp, and I love the boneless spare ribs. I've tried China Star on bottom of president ave, which everyone said was the best, for me personally it sucked. Try this place, the food is great. I don't know what the last reviewer was talking about, probably a competitor cause the food is really good. read more
