Imagine you're at the mall food court and want to grab some of the basic Chinese food they have there. Asia Grille is the same thing except it's a brick and mortar restaurant and they have alcohol. The restaurant itself is located in a nice location at the Lincoln Mall. The interior itself is dated but large and has plenty of seating. The staff are all kind and I've had nice interactions with most of them. I feel bad leaving a three star review because many of them are so pleasant. But, the food is average at best. I've never had something that has wowed me or blown me away. Tonight I did the sweet and sour shrimp. The portion size was great with plenty of rice but they should have put the sweet and sour sauce to the side instead of on top. It almost made the dish too sweat. I also ordered a Mai tai which was good but standard. I will say I did oscillate between a 3 and a 4 because of their pricing. Most of their special combos are no more than $12 and my Mai Tai was $10. With the portion sizes this is a great deal! Plus the food always comes out incredibly quickly. The food here is good. When there is a takeaway food line out the door and the phone is in constant ring mode, it is clear this place is popular. I had to order my barometer meal of General Tso's with pork fried rice, as this is the only way I compare. The food was very good. Hospitality though is lacking here. Which surprises me with Johnson & Wales down the road. We gave our name, and watched as they sat people. They called our turn about 30 minutes of waiting, with initial estimate of 10-15. I usually don't blame a restaurant for long waits but here I would. I will explain later. The young man walked us to the table, threw the menus down and then walked away. Our server came over took our order. Just a note here, the pork fried rice is made with egg. If you have issues with eggs you get white rice. They make it in bulk. (They make the General Tso's in bulk too). Our food and drinks came, and our server put them on the table, and then was gone. He showed up to hand me the check when we had been done eating for about 5 minutes. The fortune cookies were stale. Maybe they should check that too. As far as the wait goes. The wait staff did not work the table. I worked 5 years at a high end steak house. Clearing empty plates for a guest is subtle hint that they are done. Asking for dessert subliminally does it too. If the table is clear, the customer knows to leave. The table turns faster. When a waiter takes your order and delivers it and disappears, the table is free to stay. I've been here before, years ago. On my recent visit, we had a great experience. Service was quick and attentive. We were able to get a high chair for our little one. There were plenty of parking and the restaurant interior was spacious and clean. We started off with crab rangoons (came with 10 for $11.00) and those were perfection; definitely top 3 favorite crab rangoons for me. The wrapping paper was perfectly crispy and tender and the filling was creamy, flavorful, and plentiful. I like that the duck sauce was in a container that you can pour limitlessly. For my entree, I had the appetizer combo; it came with pork fried rice, Asia wings, boneless ribs, and Beef teriyaki for $11.75. The meal was huge and full of flavor. Overall, a great Chinese spot in the area, they also have a location in Garden City Cranston. Asia Grille is a solid choice for Chinese food in Northern Ri. Their menu includes lots of favorites such as General Gao's Chicken, Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, Wonton Soup, Beef with Broccoli, and so on. They have a very spacious dining room, and also have a bustling take out counter. My most recent visit to Asia Grille was with a group of 10 and they handled our large party very well. We had called ahead, so a table was already set for us and we were quickly seated, given menus, and glasses of water. Our server was very efficient with taking our orders and our food arrived in a timely manner. Nearly all of us ordered combination plates which are a really good value. They include fried rice, an entree, and an egg roll for around $13, give or take depending on the entree. The portions were large - I had plenty to take home. We enjoyed the environment - it is casual, comfortable, and we never felt rushed. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area. read more

I'm always on the hunt for the next best Chinese spot! From the outside, being part of a strip mall, you wouldn't think much. Honestly, their Chinese food is really yummy. Favorite thing- beef teriyaki. It is so flavorful, it may be the best beef teriyaki I've had. I will definitely order this again. The service- our waitress was so nice, she did a wonderful job, even repeated back all 8 of our orders and had all of the orders correct once placed on the table. (She even remembered who ordered what when the food was brought to us) it's not often nowadays that you get a food service worker who shows that they care about their job- attentive and kind. She was both of those things. I enjoy coming here, and I will be back again soon! Not pictured but I had the amazing sesame chicken with fried rice, and substituted the egg roll with beef teriyaki! We have gone to Asia in the,past, just not recently. We went last night and will never return. The condition of both restrooms should have told the story. They were filthy! So we got a table, had a waiter with zero interest. Gave us each a glass of water, then took our order. We had a very simple dinner, it it was all ice cold! Not the usual delicious food from there. It's a great place to take the family before or after the movies or to meet up with a group of friends. Upon entering, there are two host stands - one on the left for picking up take out orders and the other straight ahead if you are dining in. There's also a bar area to the right of the entrance. We were seated as soon as our entire group had arrived and menus were quickly passed out. They have a meal combo section where you can get rice, an egg roll, and a main dish - all on one plate. Since this option gives you a little bit of everything to have a complete meal, we all ordered from this section of the menu. The Chicken Teriyaki and Gold Fingers were dried out and over cooked. Seemed like it may have been old or reheated from the previous day. It was not edible. The Beef Teriyaki and the Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Fried Rice were ok. For the price that was paid over $80 we were very disappointed in the overall quality of the food. I always get an order of crab Rangoons (which are to die for yummmmm), Asia Grille Fried Rice (it's gluten free but I only get it because it is fantastic), also Singapore Noodles (I wish I knew how to make these because they're delicious also). My wife and I went to Asia Grill in Lincoln for dinner last night. We were seated in one of the booths. We ordered our food, when the food came our table became inundated with little black bugs. The bugs were flying around our heads, landing on our table and climbing up the wall between our booth and the adjoining booth. We asked for boxes and took our meals home. I told and showed our waitress the bugs she said "I'll tell my manager" and walked away. We paid our bill and left. We won't be going back anytime soon. read more
