I ordered two vanities from here and the store was nice enough to deliver to me even though my house is 5 miles outside of their delivery zone. The vanities seem high quality and very nice. They also have friendly and responsive customer service when you're purchasing. HOWEVER the marble top of one of the vanities arrived broken and the company insists they're not responsible. The manager, Russ, says it was inspected before shipping and upon delivery when it obviously wasn't - the box was still sealed and the other vanity was laying sideways - how did they inspect it while it was laying on it's side? And why would they have taped and stapled the boxes back up? They are blaming it on my contractor, who received the delivery. Oh, and Russ accused me of trying to "blackmail" him with a bad review. I was planning to be there for delivery but the driver moved delivery up two days because it worked better for him - so I asked the contractor to receive the delivery. My mistake. I would buy from them again - maybe- but BUYER BEWARE and ensure you're personally there to ensure everything arrives undamaged because this company will not take responsibility for ensuring the items are delivered undamaged. read more

We bought our vanity at the Beltsville location in 2018, it's the Milan featured in the opening Yelp photo! Not sure if that location is still open. We still get compliments on it and have referred at least two people to the Golden Elite website. The quality for price is incredible value. Aesthetically, the vanity and marble counter are stunning. The cabinetry is practical. It was easy to find a faucet fixture and the cabinets hold up. I Like the tension when you open them, avoids slamming and adds longevity to the hardware. Really great staff too, friendly and responsive. No slick sell. These guys know they sell quality so they feel good about their jobs. You can tell when you engage with them. If you're local, go for it. If you're looking to ship, STEAR CLEAR. I purchased a new vanity via Craigslist but when I went to buy the matching cabinet and ship to me in Chicago, the process was PAINFUL. They were slow to respond via email, once I placed the order via phone and paid the hefty freight charge, it then took almost 10 days to receive the cabinet. I had to ask multiple times for am invoice, shipping timeline and tracking numbers while waiting for the cabinet. After receiving, days later when I opened it, the cabinet was cracked beyond use. I sent them photos and asked for a replacement and next steps. It took them 7 days to respond and tell me that they're waiting to hear back on the claim... then another 7 days passed and I demanded an update. I asked for a call from a manager with a plan of action or a refund, and they called me right away to refund me. Terrible customer service experience and now I have a large broken cabinet sitting in my garage with no idea what to do with and also no idea where to get the new cabinet. Net net: If you're local, maybe you'll have a better experience but if you're shipping - BEWARE. read more

J'ai acheté une douche à ce magasin. Dès l'installation la douche coulait. J'ai demandé une échange, ils ont refusé. Pas d'échange si la douche est déjà installée. Ok, comment je sais que la douche est défectueuse si je ne l'installe pas? Ils m'ont donné une pièce pour la remplacer moi même à mes frais. Revenue à la maison, je découvre que ce n'est pas la bonne pièce , ils m'ont donné le mélangeur d'eau chaude et froide au lieu de la pièce qui ouvre et ferme l'eau. Je suis retourné au magasin, ils ont commandé une autre pièce pour moi. Cette fois c'était la bonne pièce mais... pas du meme modèle :(((. Très mauvaise expérience dans ce magasin. La gérante impolie, pauvre qualité du produit. Je n'y retournerait pas. Je vais essayer d'obtenir la bonne pièce directement du fabricant. An unhappy customer, I was at the store 2 days ago and ordered a bathrom cabinet, faucett, and a mirror. They promised the delivery of all items for the next day. They did not the delivery the mirror. We called and complaint about it, and they told us to pick it up at the warehouse the next morning. The warehouse was sixty five miles away from our home. We made the 1.5 hour trip to find out that the mirror was not there. We suggested to give us the mirror on display at the store, and they agreed with it. Again, they made us go to the store for nothing since they could not give us the mirror on display.We end up asking for our money back. We had a bad experience, frustratión, and lots of our time wasted. I will not refer this store to anybody. read more

Time and time again, I return to Golden Elite and the quality of the products and excellent customer service are always consistent. I was recommended to come here by a good friend after venting my frustrations with other stores. Russ walked around with me, spent a good hour explaining everything and was a complete gentleman when I told him I needed a little more time to decide exactly which flooring I needed. Without any pressure, he sent me home with a couple of samples and told me to take my time. I left feeling like I found a literal gem. Within a couple of days, I returned and purchased the flooring. Any home improvement project that you (read: your poor husband) plan to do is already a stressful experience. Russ was able to not only make this process easy and pleasant, he gave us an amazing deal and tips and tricks to bring out the most in our basement. Very disappointed that I took a day off work to pick our items at the warehouse today only to find out one of the two items will not make it for a few more days. I got no notification from Golden Elite that there was going to be a delay in this delivery "due to weather". The warehouse Golden Elite uses, National Warehouse, is also a huge problem. It is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone or to answer emails to try to confirm delivery and pick up. While I am happy with the product we found, this will be our first and last purchase with Golden Elite. read more

We purchased a vanity from Golden Elite and were pleased with the price. However, the countertop was delivered seperately. When our contractor lifted the countertop from the box, it immediately broke under the weight of the attached sinks. While the counter appeared to be 1 1/4 inch thick from the outside, it was actually only about 1/2 inch thick on the inside and therefore was not able to support the weight of the sinks. When we called in to bring the issue to their attention, we were quickly dismissed and told it was the contractors fault. We ended up having to buy a new countertop elsewhere.
