Alway friendly and always consistent. We have been frequenting Golden Ginger for years. We have always had good experiences with their food; regardless of whether we arrange for a to-go order or choose to dine in. We are always pleased with our meals. One thing that I am most impressed by, is their price and quality of sushi. They has always provided a great selection of rolls. I have tried several and can honestly say, I have always enjoyed the choices and never worry about freshness. They do a great job of taking care of their customers and have earned a repeat business, that supports them well. I always appreciate local business establishments; as they understand the importance of customer service and pour their time, money and effort into making sure they do their best, each day. GGB is great! Their sushi is the bomb.com. That said, I wasn't loving the Orange Chicken I had on my last visit. I just wish it was a little LESS crispy.. some pieces are too crispy, almost hard. It's not pleasant. The taste is still good, but I've had much better tasting Orange Chicken as well. I look forward to trying Golden Ginger again, but I'll definitely try something else. I noticed the same crispy issue with my General Tao's Shrimp, but this Orange Chicken really took it too far. Just didn't feel fresh, that was part of it too. Trust me, you may be reading this thinking "But crispy is the best!" No, really this isn't a good crispy. Despite all that, I'm still a fan! We've heard lots of good things about this place and it's pretty close to us so we gave it a try tonight. I thought it was great! We ordered tempura vegetables to start and they give you a massive amount (of zucchini, onion, carrot, broccoli, and green beans) for only $4.95. My husband ordered a Super Spicy Roll. He is definitely not a heat wimp but was feeling the burn from this roll!! He also ordered the Orange Chicken and thought it was good. I ordered the Sesame Chicken. We really enjoyed our visit to the Golden Ginger in Clearfield. To be honest it's not much to look at inside or out, but the food more than makes up for it. We eat out regularly with a group of friends and when it's our turn to pick the spot we like to check it out before we invite them. We started with the Gyoza appetizer and then had a Las Vegas sushi roll along with General Tsao's chicken and sweet and sour shrimp. The food was very tasty and plentiful and their prices were more than reasonable. We took enough home for another full meal. Our cute little waitress, Presley, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We could tell that she actually enjoyed being there and loves their food. It's located the old Maverick Store. Well, based on the reviews of this place I decided to try them out. I've now gone here twice and absolutely loved them both times. The first time I got ham fried rice with only egg and onions. The flavor was perfect and I haven't had ham fried rice this good since Jade Terrace closed in Roy. I also had the chicken with broccoli which was awesome and the cheese Rangoon. Yummy!!!! The second time I had the ham fried rice again with broccoli beef. The beef was very tender as flavorful.
