He moved pretty quickly and didn't do a lot of verbal communication, so some people might feel uncomfortable with that. I have many massages over the years, but have not experienced the type of immediate relief I got from Mary's massage technique. I went back the next day and got a massage from Tomas, a male masseuse. This guy knows his stuff! He's strong and his knowledge and skill are remarkable. As with many Asian massage shops, language can be a little challenging at times, but we worked through it. All-in-all, two great massages from friendly, professional people. I'll return if I make another trip to Ft. Collins.

She returned about 15 minutes later (apologized "for being late"), and while the actual massage was excellent--one of the best I've had in years--it ended roughly 10 minutes early. The session felt rushed toward the end. The real issue came with tipping and payment. The advertised rate is $100 for 90 minutes (plus tax, making it $105). I tipped $50--a generous 50%--but Tina seemed very disappointed and pressed for more, saying she usually gets $60 tip for an hour (implying even more for 90 minutes). She became confrontational, comparing me to her other customers who tip higher. When paying at the counter, there was confusion over change (language barrier didn't help), and the manager/owner? joined in, escalating things. They positioned themselves in a way that felt blocking, and despite yielding somewhat, paying well over the service cost (total around $175+ including the large tip), they still pushed for more with overflowing sarcastic "thank yous" as I left. A strong massage shouldn't come with guilt-tripping or high-pressure tactics over tips. Standard tipping etiquette for massages is 15-20% (higher for exceptional service), and $50 on $105 was already well above that. If the business relies so heavily on outsized tips to make up for low base prices, they should be upfront about expectations. I won't return, and I'd advise others to clarify all costs--including expected tips--before starting. There are plenty of legitimate massage options in Greeley that treat customers with respect and transparency.

She asked me what kind of massage I wanted and I told her where I was feeling some pain and knots and she recommended the full massage which I agreed to. I was directed to a room and the ambience is as you would expect from any normal massage place and after preparing myself she proceeded with the massage. Professional throughout the whole process and kept conversation to a minimum. After the massage, I was told the price and told that if I paid with credit card, there would be a surcharge, which is pretty standard nowadays. I paid and tipped her and thanked her for the excellent service and great experience. I personally recommend coming here. The staff are very professional and courteous and I love supporting small businesses. Some others may not have had a good experience and sometimes that may be due to a misunderstanding but I always recommend coming to check it out for yourself. I will be coming back again on my next visit to Colorado.
