I'm a newbie to glasses and Dr. Chu and Alicia made the entire process so easy. Dr. Chu was helpful in letting me understand my eyes and showed me a fun diagram model of an eye annnd I got to see a picture of the inside of my eye. Pretty neat with the tools they have here. Alicia helped me pick out such cute glasses that fit my face well. I'm glad I didn't have to figure out which glasses framed me well, she just knew which worked for me to when she shared with me the options. She let me try some other ones too that I was curious to see in me that I chose outside her suggestion and it didn't look good on me so, really I should've just trusted her. My dad was a long time customer of Golden (San Diego), but our favorite person is Mimi. She has relocated to the newly opened store in Irvine and my family all moved to Oregon. We still decided to do business with her remotely. I must compliment on how Mimi made the whole process super easy and simple. She contacted the SD office and retrieved all of my dad's previous records for reference. I only needed to fax her my dad's new glasses prescription. My dad had a pair of Cartier glasses which he really liked and wanted to keep the frame. I mailed the frame to Mimi and then she was able to assist us with what we needed. She took the time to go over the different lens options and explained in detail what my dad was getting. Also she was able to help my dad select a completely different shape of lens for the job. We communicated back and forth for a few hours and then she was able to fulfill my dad's order. The glasses took about 3 weeks to complete because there were many features added, but we didn't mind waiting since we want to make sure the lens turns out perfect. What was amazing is that although the lens shape changed completely, it didn't seem to bother my dad when he put the glasses on. Since normally progressive lenses require in person measurements. My dad was super happy with his glasses. Thank you Mimi for your expertises and excellent customer service. You always go out of your way to satisfy our needs and we are grateful for that.
