He told us his wife had made a booking error and had booked a graduation party for Sunday. He asked if we would mind cleaning the venue up after our wedding and told us how it shouldnt take long. We told him that really wasnt in our plans..because who wants to get married and then clean afterwards? He then says ok, can you come early Sunday to clean it. I said I didn't think thatd work..because again..wasnt in our plans! My husband & I sat and talked about it and decided we would ask if he would refund part of our money for the total inconvenience he was causing. Total cost was $2,000. $250 is refundable to everyone who cleans up after. So we decided to ask for an additional $250. Well..he did NOT like that idea. He said he'd toss it around & see about moving the grad party. I text him later in the day and asked if we were good to use it Sunday or if he was going to give us the $250 we asked for? This man proceeds to tell me how he paid for new mulch to be laid down this week, the $150 flowers he hung up and other upkeep and that the graduation party was still coming. He offered us $150 back because he said "I'm already not making much this week". He tried guilting us initially and then again about his maintenance like that was somehow my issue. And if I'm not mistaken ..he took two bookings for the same day which would mean he got paid twice for the same day & made more then he normally would have. I felt $250 was super fair considering he ruined all of our plans, making us clean after the wedding and change our Sunday plans..not to mention losing a whole day we paid for. And essentially TELLING US we couldnt have Sunday regardless. I just feel the whole ordeal was very unprofessional & showed a total lack of regard for a couple who chose his venue out of all the places we could have chosen. Long story short..WE made our wedding amazing and unforgettable but the owner really did us dirty and I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with someone who treats guests like that.

The continental breakfast was served in a very small room; with 10 other people in the room, it was very difficult to move around. When I walked barefoot on the carpet, my feet got dirty. There was some kind of gooey substance in the bottom of the wastepaper basket in the living area. The bathroom toilet was exceptionally low profile; it was very noticeable even though I'm a short guy. Only one of the two elevators worked. No info about the hotel or its services was located in the room. The evening staff were very unfriendly and not accommodating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! Pros: Surprisingly quiet. Good air conditioning. The refrigerator and microwave oven worked. Good Wi-Fi.
