I brought my daughter and her friend in to get gel nails, and unfortunately both girls ended up with small cuts during the service. My daughter's cut was worse, and I felt the nail technician was not careful enough while working on her nails. She also came across a bit rough and not very warm with my daughter, who was very well behaved the entire time. The salon did give me a discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but I still don't think it's acceptable for both kids to leave with cuts. A nail appointment should feel safe and enjoyable, especially for children. I hope they take more care with younger customers in the future. read more

I've been coming here to get my nails done for 10 years. Today I came in for my fill with Lynn and ended up having to bring my 2 year old with me last min. I was nervous bringing a 2 year old to the salon. But from the moment we walked in everyone was so sweet with her. Lynn asked if she wanted her nails done, my daughter said yes and they did a cute little pink manicure with a flower for her and even gave her a little treat. The whole trip to the nail salon turned into a fun first time moment for my daughter and I. The service here is always top notch and I can't wait to have more mommy daughter manicures. read more

Came back for a gel mani and express (basic) pedicure, and really happy with everything! The interior is always clean, all the ladies wear gloves, they have a great selection of colors, and something is always playing on TV to help the time pass. Han did a great job with my almond-shaped gel manicure. I really liked the sweet romance color, which is like a light mauve pink. My pedicure was done meticulously as well. They did a great job getting rid of all the dead skin and cleaned up my cuticles so well. They require their tips to be CASH only even though you can pay for the services with card. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon on and off for years. But more recently I have been more consistent. I usually get a gel mani and regular polish pedicure and occasionally will have my eyebrows waxed. Call to make an appointment is the way to go but they're flexible. I once had a polish chip and nail crack. I called that in and spoke with Lynn. She told me to just come back and they would fix it. Sure enough that they did and didn't want to charge me either. But because I've had a generally great experience with the salon, I did pay for the fix. There are plenty of pedi chairs and you can get both fingernails and toenails done simultaneously provided there are enough free Nail techs. Went in for a regular mani and gel removal for $26 (which is not the issue). The nail tech was polite but the service was just subpar. She used ice cold water to soak my nails. After using the drill to remove the gel she didn't wipe any of the dust off of my hands. She just proceeded to give me a "massage." Which was painful and short lived, rubbing in the dust from the gel polish into my skin. Then when I got to the car I realized she had left my clearly broken nail unfixed. I normally don't try to get nail designs because it costs too much or the nail techs don't do a really good job, so for a long time, I didn't do different nail designs. I absolutely adore this tucked away gem of a nail salon. i haven't been here in sooo long but am glad to stumble upon it again and will now be a local regular! Idk why but people often can't tell I'm Vietnamese , so I'll never bring it up to just listen to what the workers say. Whether or not mail salons talk shit on me in Vietnamese plays a huge factor on determining whether or not i'll come back or write a review. Haha This place didn't talk any crap and did a great job on my gel manicure & pedicure. I got the luxury packages for both my hands and feet so they took extra care of me with massages and scrubs. I even got an actual shoulders massage which started putting me to sleep. Ive been overwhelmed with work, a one year old, and a whole house move so I haven't been able to treat myself to anything since December. Thank goodness I stepped in for some TLC. I came here a few weeks ago to get ready for my anniversary celebration. I got a full acrylic set and gel pedi. I don't have anything bad to say. The staff was polite and the work was decent. But I don't normally go to a nail salon because of my very busy life, and I wanted to feel pampered and relaxed while I was here. I felt kinda rushed and the service was a little hectic because I had 2 girls working on me at the same time. Once my hands were done, however, the pedicure felt great once I was able to actually rest my hands. This place is clean and efficient. I found Golden Nail Bar because I was looking for a luxurious pedicure. I wanted a pedicure with a good foot massage to relax after a long week of work but the Luxury Pedicure ($40) I got here had terrible execution. The Luxury Pedicure comes with everything a regular pedicure comes with in addition to a callus treatment, exfoliation scrub, mask, warm towel wrap, paraffin wax and a fifteen minute foot massage. The nail shop itself was really nice with massage chairs and they use a plastic lining for sanitary purposes. It was the nail technician who was weak in both skill and strength. She was sky and meek and her personality reflected on the service. She gave me the most miserable pedicure where she barely removed any cuticle. The callus rub was weak. I notice other technicians at the same shop had a tool for callus removal, but the one I had did not. She just used the regular pumus and weakly rubbed barely anything off. It was terribleeeee. And even her massage was weaker than a child rubbing lotion on your leg. Biggest waste of money ever. I left more annoyed and stressed out than when I first walked in. I would never come back, but I recognize how other technicians would have been better. Still, the owner hired this individual, so I'll let the good and bad reviews balance itself out. read more

I got my toes done too I didn't catch the ladies name but the shape was awesome My bf and son came with me and they got deluxe pedicures no polish and they loved it Our feet are so soft . It was busy for a Wednesday which is a good sign . I was referred by some moms in my local mom group and they were right. Everyone was so nice and they were taking people like 10 mins before close. They were all super sweet very professional and talked to us which is always a plus in my book . My toes came out so bomb but I wont post them not everyone likes seeing feet . Nancy did amazing shaping and she listened to what I wanted and how I wanted it. She was super patient I wish I would have brought her a bigger tip . The lady that did my toes was asking questions and getting to know me which I love . I used to do my own nails for many years so I am very particular on what I like and man they did a great job . I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting my nails done; however, this place did not disappoint. I'm not sure if it's the person I got or the place over all, but Lyn was very good and meticulous in her work. I got a full set for $35 and was out of there within the hour. I love the way Lyn did my nails because she applied just enough powder to not have to go over it again with the machine, which could take extra time if the manicurist packs on too much powder. Lyn paid attention to the little details that only customers would notice; I didn't need to let her know where needed work because she would notice it before I did!
