We had a blast at the Golden Nugget. We booked a 2 story suite in July 2025. It was perfect! It was such a great room that I wish we could've have spent more time in the room. We didn't get access until 400pm and check out was 1100am so it was a quick one trip before heading to the strip. We had 3 people in the room with one sleeping on the couch. We also had a Cabana at the adult pool upstairs and that was perfect for escaping the sun when needed. Drinks are just as expensive as they are on the strip. $20 a cocktail throughout the hotel and pool. They did have $10 and $15 tables which was nice for a casual gambler. Golden Nugget is always chill and fun!! Room was very clean. We stayed in the Spa Tower so it was very quiet since our room faced the pool and not the street.

This is an amazing property in Downtown Las Vegas. Sits at apex of Fremont Street Experience. The lights, music and nonstop action are a sight to see! Hotel is clean and staff is exceptional. I loved that I was able to check in via a kiosk in the lobby. It even printed my room keys. You can get a max of four keys which will come in handy as I am always losing or desensitizing them! They have a Box Office for shows, tickets and events which is nice to have onsite. There's a beautiful wedding chapel and each room has a mini refrigerator. There's ice machines on every floor...very convenient! Also can get same-day dry cleaning and laundry services for a fee. There's a pool with a super large aquarium, an ice bar and plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel has three towers with a variety of room types, including quiet rooms. Since Fremont Experience is noisy, they even provide ear plugs! Note room service is available starting Friday. My King guest room is newly renovated and features a sitting area, big screen TV, and a Keurig coffee/tea machine. Decor is very subtle with warm earth tones throughout the rooms and hotel. Casino on the main floor with a variety of slots, table games and tournament poker. Reasonable prices, with early check in for a nominal fee and room upgrade options. My first time here but definitely not my last!

The iconic vision of Fremont Street. When we could see it from the taxi, we knew we'd arrived to our night out. Visit Golden Nugget to find the slot machines you remember from years past and cheaper tables for cards.

The Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas is very old, as one of the city's first casinos and a historic landmark on Fremont Street, I think you shouldn't miss this iconic establishment if you ever visiting this area. I've been here a few times, always like its classic Old Vegas atmosphere, although really not a big fan of its bad air and smoke smell inside the casino.

Clearly, not wipe down at all this was our first room that they try to give us

Extremely disappointed with this hotel stay. We stayed for 4 nights, and not once were the sheets changed or the bathroom properly cleaned. The room was visibly dirty from the beginning -- dust everywhere, grime under the sink, and surfaces that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We called housekeeping THREE different times asking for the room to be cleaned, but nothing was done. One day they came in only to drop off towels and leave a roll of toilet paper, then left without vacuuming, making the bed, changing sheets, or cleaning the bathroom. A supervisor even came up to inspect the room herself and admitted that housekeeping hadn't vacuumed or made the bed. To make things worse, housekeeping randomly showed up one night at 11 PM, which was completely inappropriate and disruptive. lack of cleanliness and customer service was unacceptable. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting basic cleanliness or decent service. It's a shame because the staff is really nice and welcoming. We ate at the bar in front of the aquarium and spend some time at the pool and staff was really nice and had a good vibe.

I only stayed here because I was with a group and this is the hotel that was decided on. I stayed in the Rush Tower because I heard it was the newer more updated side. While I did have a larger room, the room was dirty. It didnt look like they vacuumed and they definitely don't dust. The bathroom looks nice in the photos, but in reality it's awful. Because the way they have the bath I think it makes it difficult to clean and so they don't. Also, the ceiling inside the shower has mold. To get in/out of shower, you have to be careful. The door handle that was on my showers door was loose, probably because people have to hold that to get out. I never used their internet and never used their pool. A very small pool for so many people. Still had to pay the"resort" fee, so ridiculous.

Clean, convenient and reasonably priced. No charge for parking if you're a guest. Was having trouble with the checkin kiosk but thank you Amanda from LA for taking me into the VIP lounge for my checkin. She was so kind and patient with me. Asked about my family and the recent rains in SoCal. Put me in a wonderful room, king-size bed, very quiet. Room feels newly remodeled with impressive decor.

On what can I say.... I love this place! It's a total bargain when it comes to places to stay in Vegas ..... our three night stay was cheaper than one night on the strip. Let's be real we come to Vegas for what is OUTSIDE the room. We wanted a clean space to store our stuff and sleep... score! Bummed the pool was closed (off season) and some of the downstairs shops and amenities like Starbucks's close pretty early. But the access to Fremont street is perfect.

Can I ask the concierge to plan a trip to another golden nugget property?

I believe the only other Golden Nugget property not crazy far from Vegas is in Laughlin, NV. Not sure concierge "plans" trips for hotel guests? Sorry.

When they will let is upstairs to our rooms?

Usually by 3:00 PM sometimes earlier if they are cleaned

Does anyone know how much of a hold for incidentals there is for there suites?

Usually between 50$ and 100$. I would prepare for 100$.

    Charge for parking?

No they do not if you are staying at the hotel.

Does gold tower rooms have a fridge?

    Yes it does..

    Is it noisy?

It depends on your room and what's happening the night you're staying. There have been nights that are fine and nights that are so loud the windows were shaking and we couldn't sleep at all in the same room.

Is the pool open? Is it heated?

    Yes

The one bedroom suites from pics have leather sofas. Do these happen to be sofa beds?

    Nope

    Is the fitness room open?

    Is the sushi restaurant operating?

Do the TV's in room have a usb connection in back? This could be used for charging devices or streaming a video/show from your smaller device to the tv screen.

Some do some don't. It's really depending on what room you get and then the tv and how old it is. The WiFi is really good and we streamed Netflix on my iPad but didn't try the tv.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget about 2 years ago and had a view of a festival I attended and instead of watching from the crowd I just watched from my room, anyone know which tower that would be? I called but the agent didn't give me a sure answer

It depends on where the festival is located.

Are lounge chairs free in the pool area?

Yes. Chairs are .... Cabana for a charge

Is there a way to check in online and bypass the front desk?

No, you must check in at the front desk.

Can I bring my dog? Is the Golden Nugget pet friendly?

Aloha Brian,I'm not sure but I did see a number of dogs walking in the lobby and casino with leashes on. Of course they all had service dog vest on but as usual none of them acted like a real trained service dog. I would recommend calling front desk… Read more

Hello, what is the difference between the rush tower and the gold tower? Also are they both newer? Thxs

We are considering booking the "One bedroom Spa Suite Pool View" suite for a long-time employee of ours as a thank-you bonus trip. Can 3 adults stay in this suite comfortably? Is the couch a pull-out couch?

The couches do not pull out, but they are plenty big and comfy enough to sleep on. I also noticed one of the rooms had a rollaway bed, so that is also an option.

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Housekeepers were great. *other Wynn workers (e.g., food/booze servers) were usually good and reasonably personable. *Wing Lei (Chinese Michelin-1 joint) had top-tier service and although we could only sample a small number of dishes, they were all copacetic. *due to last-minute vacancies, the Wynn upgraded us from a $400/night room to a suite that ordinarily sets big-spenders back to the tune of $1,150/night. *Great friggin' ice machine - on my floor - never let me down when flask-time came around! CONS: *the Wynn, even at their extant "nosebleed" rack rates, will effin' nickel 'n dime ya' (*coins on steroids) every gol-durn chance they get: -NO refrigerator in the room unless you want to rent one for $25 a night. (Yep- let's make it hard for guests to bring their own, reasonably-priced booze. And leftovers from "market price" (i.e., "mark-it-up") menu pickin's at various and sundry Vegas kitchens? Meet Sal: Monella! *The pool situation is absurd and offensive: Not only can't you escape the aural pollution that pervades the whole property (more on that later)...but it's actually hard) to find an unoccupied (and unreserved) chaise lounge. -I got KICKED OFF one because it was "reserved"....NO SIGN...NO ONE "claiming it"... *Gotta pay EXTRA for even a G-D pool chair - Hell, $500. $1,000, $1,500 a night - AIN'T ENOUGH! *Booze prices are beyond absurd! Paid $15 or so for a "pour" of ordinary Tito's vodka. Needed an ELECTRON MICROSCOPE to see the likker! (But I only did it once, as my flasks of Toki and Pikesville and a Hamm's 12'er...took care of me.) *The bellhops move at a comatose pace, and when we arrived, we were informed that there'd be a "slight delay" of 45 minutes in bringing up our bags. After an HOUR had passed, we just took the G-D things ourselves. Yeah - now ain't THAT first-class service! *The concierge on duty was a dullard and a do-nothing doofus who couldn't do "jack" for us. Needs a job at the 'Boreyard by Mary Ott.' *NO smoking allowed at the OTB (Sportsbook area) Huh??? Effin' VEGAS and I can't even smoke a good cigar (or even a bad one) while play the races? S-H-I-I-T-E!!! **GOONS everywhere -had to use my key just to take the elevator to my floor, and had to withstand the glaring imprimatur of "security" people every time. (My favorite guy, who appears to have been either a "Blood" or a "Crip,"...received the moniker...'SMILEY!' -Although I wouldn't consider buying the wildly marked-up "luxury" goods peddled in the Wynn shops, I couldn't help but notice the scowling dorks in dark suits who stand outside the portals, arms folded. (No buddy - I ain't buyin' yer' lousy $50K watch; so shove it OK?) __________ Now, neighbor - are ya' ready for the veritable TOP-TWO reasons NOT to wander into the Wynn? 1) NONSTOP high-volume pop-schlock aural excrement THUMPING throughout the place. EVERYWHERE. Pay exorbitant room rates and then be subjected to lowest-common-denominator NOISE? WHO likes that garbage? ("effluencers?") -How about QUIET? -If that's not possible - how about actual MUSIC played at moderate levels? WHY must we endure moron-music and WHY were we not warned that it would be infesting the air? 2) EURO/MIDEAST TRASH guests swarming like maggots, pushing in front of you and invading your space without so much as an "EXCUSE ME!"... ...Mega-wealthy SCUM that shouldn't even be allowed in America - much less catered to by an ostensible "top class" hotel! The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again

It seems as though their renovations have been completed. If you stayed here when it was the Mandarin Oriental, you will remember you had to go to the 3rd floor to check-in. WA kept that process until the most recent reno. You now checkin upon entry, like most places, however, you still go to the 3rd floor to access the guest room elevators and restaurant. I really love all the new touches and also enjoy the touches they kept from the previous franchise. The check-in staff was above and beyond friendly and looked for ways to make sure you would best enjoy your stay. After a long drive and plane ride, it's nice to chat with people who are genuinely engaged in getting to know about your stay. We had made reservations for spa treatments for after we are arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed that time. I would go as far as to say the WA spa is one of the best spas on the strip. Fabulous. The WA is a wonderful strip hotel in a great space and a lot of convenience in and around.

Speaking of location this place is in a very good location putting many establishments within a short walk or inexpensive rideshare. This is one of those hotels where there is plenty to do within the walls of the hotel........except gambling. There is no casino in this hotel as with many hotels and I enjoyed that aspect. The great part is that this location is located near what was once known as CityCenter and is now known as the Aria Campus. This is where plenty of newer buildings are located and plenty to do in this area. Check in and customer service were spot on. Of course, this being the Waldorf Astoria there are aspects of customer service you expect to find here that goes beyond other hotels. I especially like it when all your included amenities are explained without having to ask or even explain it to the front desk. The hotel staff comes early in case your room needs a refresh but if you leave your room later, they will leave a nice little paddle on your door to let you know they stopped by. It is very easy to reschedule a time for them to come back and may not be needed since they clean your room everyday. I mentioned to the front desk that I needed something and from the time I spoke with the front desk to going to our room on the 17th floor it was already in the valet door. A good stay but there were a few attention to detail aspects that could be worked on. I noticed there was a significant accumulation of dust at one of the vents. Also masking tape was used to keep the shower door sweep in place. Not something you would expect to see in the flagship brand within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.
