He helped us arrive at a suitable energy-efficient Simonton models to replace 5 of our windows at a reasonable price. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. (The self-latching worked a bit differently than I expected, which actually was an improvement!) The windows look great and are a pleasure to use! Nice work, JWG!

We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. It's been about a year and the windows still look great and work well (they're also much easier to slide open than our old windows). I would definitely recommend them!

I had all of my windows replaced with the Phifer No-see-um insect screens, which have a tighter mesh designed to keep even the smallest bugs out--and they've made a noticeable difference already. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. I chose to communicate via text, and the process was incredibly easy and efficient. Konstantin arrived right on time and immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. He replaced one screen first to make sure I liked how it looked (which I really appreciated), and then completed the rest quickly, with great attention to detail. Max did an outstanding job making new screens for my entire house (13 screens and frames). He was punctual and professional. Before setting up he took his time to show us different materials explaining the pros and cons of each. Also, my window frames were modified by the previous owner making it difficult to get a good fitting screen with no gaps. Max was also able to find a creative solution that works great. We can finally open our windows and enjoy the breeze without inviting insects in at our new home. This should more than pay for itself in energy savings as now we are using AC much less. Just had 4 screens replaced today by Golden Screen Services. They showed up on time and had the work done promptly. Highly suggest using them when you need a screen replaced or a frame fixed. The price was about $60 a window for my house not sure how much variable there is but hopefully this helps others shopping. read more

Called Don around 11:30AM. He was able to stop by that afternoon. We examined all my screens and with his guidance I decided he would take them all (16) to his shop with a promise to return around 10:00 the next morning. The screens look great as the old ones were showing the wear and tear of many seasons. The price he quoted me was reasonable for the work required. There was a small upward dip on one of the frames. Don smooth that out. It has been a pleasure working with him.
