Customer service was flawless she had the whole place running smoother than my truck after the service. Meanwhile Cesar looked like the final boss of diesel mechanics. Dude walked up to the truck like he'd wrestled lifted suspensions in hand-to-hand combat before breakfast. I'm pretty sure at one point they needed FAA clearance to work underneath my truck, but somehow they got the oil change and fuel filter done fast, clean, and without launching a socket into orbit. Truck came back running perfect, no leaks, no problems, and no 'check engine light surprise package' two miles later. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. I came in the afternoon and was pressed for time so it was my mistake not to review the quote. They add on items that should already be part of the repair. Other things to keep in mind with this Glendale branch: (1) If you buy tires from Firestone they charge extra for balancing unlike Discount Tire Centers or America's Tire where it is included, so you save money buying tires elsewhere, (2) They do not deduct diagnostic fees when you authorize the repair unlike all other Service Centers even Dealerships, they also don't tell you that beforehand, (3) Firestone will overcharge you for parts. Granted dealerships will do the same but it's just a sleazy practice that no one should be doing. (4) They will not thoroughly explain what's included on the costs. Like I said I should have reviewed the quote in detail. They added hazard protection for the tires without letting me know, which added $125 to my bill. My verdict is go elsewhere. These people will pad your invoice and are dishonest and deceptive. BE FOREWARNED!
