The attendant at the Chevron we stopped at recommended Golden State Tires because everybody in town went there . I checked their hours online and they didn't open for another hour but since it was Labor Day I called just to see if they were going to even be open since it was a holiday. Someone actually answered! Spoke with Tony who was super friendly and told us to come when they opened at 8 am. We got there a little early after changing to our spare and he was able to take care of us right away! We ended up needing a new tire altogether, which was a bummer, but they were quick, did great work and got us back on the road. We couldn't be more grateful!

We thought we were well-covered with USAA Roadside Assistance, but after multiple delays from their contracted vendor (Agero) and over 2 hours of waiting, we took the matter into our own hands and reached out to Doug at AA Tech. He was there within minutes, got our spare tire on and proceeded with finding and installing a new full-sized tire. He was both professional and personable. We were on our way home within an hour. Doug was also helpful in getting us the proper paperwork so we could get reimbursed (partially) by our insurance company. They are worth it. Many thanks!

I imagine that probably a lot of people think of them that way. I was in Bakersfield towing my boat over the Grapevine and right before I got on the freeway I five north. It sounded like an M80 was going off. Turned out it was my trailer tire. Seemed like a simple fix. I had a spare course, the spare was extremely difficult to 26 years old no sign of anywhere, when Ron inflated it the valvestem went. So grateful that Ron and Jan knew what to do, and he just hustle that 20 foot trailer with my ski boat on it onto his beautifully, well equipped, flatbed trailer, and Syd I will see you at your house and Woodland Hills. Hour and a half later he was unloading it and all I could think of was how grateful I was to have been sent these Angels.

We pulled off on the 5 fwy heading south , at the top of the hill of the grapevine. As soon as we got assigned we called Edmonds to be more specific as to our location. The dispatcher informs us that he has no one to send. He would call us back in an hr with an ETA. I am 2 hrs away from home, exhausted and this was the last thing I wanted to hear. I called AAA back wanting another company. The AAA dispatcher called Edmonds to get more information and AAA was told they would be there to help within the hour. Never happened. We kept getting texts postponing the arrival time. We called Edmonds multiple times and they wouldnt pick up. When the dispatcher finally picked up he was laughing and said, "I can really give you an explanation as to why I didnt pick up. What do you want me to do, I am trying to locate a driver." This was two hours after our intial call. I was flabbergasted by the response. Luckily after multiple calls back to AAA to get help from another company, a good Samaritan stopped to help us. The stress of being stranded and add lack of empathy from the dispatcher was unreal. I am just grateful it wasnt bad weather or a big emergency. I can only imagine what other people have had to deal with and their terrible service.

However, the column moved loosely, and the car would not go into gear. Upon my description over the phone, Lebec knew exactly what was wrong, and said he would be right there approx (30-45mins faster, and cheaper then tow). I had called some other mechanics who said they were too busy, didn't want to go, or told me they would help me in the morning. Lebec roadside managed to patch us up well enough to get us back to work on the road. We will see another mechanic for the needed part in the morning as He told us to.
