Luckily we found Golden State Tires still open and I called to ask for a tire patch quote and drove over immediately. We were quickly taken care of by Tony. He popped my tire off and told me that he recommends a new tire because he cannot guarantee the patch will be able to fix the hole. (Only because the nail was HUGE). He went and got the price of the new tire and was able to switch out the old one in the span of 10 mins. We were back on the road and overall took less than 20 minutes. I'm assuming we got lucky as they were closing in an hour. My new tire was slightly over inflated so it threw off some of my car sensors but we were able to deflate it when we got home and reset it ourselves. I'm grateful for Golden State Tires and Tony's expertise!!

We thought we were well-covered with USAA Roadside Assistance, but after multiple delays from their contracted vendor (Agero) and over 2 hours of waiting, we took the matter into our own hands and reached out to Doug at AA Tech. He was there within minutes, got our spare tire on and proceeded with finding and installing a new full-sized tire. He was both professional and personable. We were on our way home within an hour. When the tow truck arrived, he suggested we take it to Alex and I'm so glad we did. I left the keys in the dropbox, and called Alex the next day. They love to help all us motorists who start to go up the grade and something goes wrong with your car, which is exactly what happened to us. Our car started shaking and we pulled to the side and called AAA. We got towed to Top of the Vine and were greeted so warmly by Donna. It was close to their closing time on Saturday but they took a Quick Look and ordered parts to start work on it Monday. So Unfortunately we weren't able to get back on the road but my family came and picked us up. Donna even gave us a ride down the street with our luggage to the flying J to sit and wait in their inside waiting area. Donna kept saying how much she values helping people and trying to get people back on the road quickly especially around the holidays. And she was sorry she couldn't get us going that night, we kept saying it was ok we just appreciated her help and kindness. We picked up our car Tuesday and they had a discount if you had AAA so our bill wasn't as bad as we thought. I can't recommend this place enough or speak more highly about Donna and her team. However, the column moved loosely, and the car would not go into gear. Upon my description over the phone, Lebec knew exactly what was wrong, and said he would be right there approx (30-45mins faster, and cheaper then tow). I had called some other mechanics who said they were too busy, didn't want to go, or told me they would help me in the morning. Lebec roadside managed to patch us up well enough to get us back to work on the road. We will see another mechanic for the needed part in the morning as He told us to. The guy didn't have the right tools, didn't want to go back to grab other tools. He wanted to tow the car and charge us and have someone else help us. He said he would be back in 25 mins. It's been an hour and he never came back. We called him four times and he forward our calls. If he wasn't going to help, should have just been honest. We were stuck since 9pm and it is now 2am and still waiting. Never will recommend this company ever and don't pay them to tow. This is one shitty, untrustworthy company. Lazy ass people who's just money hungry and helpless. The guy and the company don't deserve any stars. Apparently I have to put a star He's more like a negative star.
