I have a toddler and it looked like she had experience with children. Well, I had to suggest props for her to use and was trying to scramble around the office to see what would work. This is something that Audra should have done or had prepared, especially since the cost of the session included 20 minutes of time. She took several photos, but didn't take into consideration the background she was using. My daughter's outfit totally blended into the background, which wasn't pleasing when i saw the pictures. I had to wait way to long to get my cd of only 15 pictures, which i didn't see any editing on. Since they were Christmas photos, they should have been available sooner. Appointment to receiving cd was about 12 days.. and several emails later. Will not be a returning customer. Disappointed. .

I saw a few reviews on here saying that she lied and stole pictures and while im not sure the whole story I can say from experience amd using her to capture men's with my family since my son was born this has never been experience We've always gotten our pictures in the time frame she provides. She sends a text out prior to the date of the shoot and it is super detailed on what to expect All our pictures have alway come out way better then our expectations.

I'm updating this review because I recently received another promotional text from her business advertising holiday mini sessions, and it reminded me that this situation was never resolved. I would personally not recommend booking with this photographer, especially if you have young children or are coordinating a family. Things happen with kids, traffic, and getting an entire family ready. Based on my experience, there was very little flexibility or grace when there was confusion surrounding our session time--even though we were at the beach at 5:50 for what we understood to be a 6:00 PM session. What continues to bother me most is that no photography service was ultimately provided, yet the entire $175 payment was kept, and I was asked to pay an additional $125 to reschedule. Almost a year later, my opinion has not changed. I wish I had known how this situation would be handled before I booked, which is why I'm leaving this update for other families to consider before paying in advance.

She took my maternity photos at her studio while I was 37 weeks pregnant. She has a beautiful selection of outfits in her client closet. She asks questions before to get an idea of what your vision is. I always envisioned wearing my wedding dress with my baby bump, and she made it happen. She makes the experience stress free; she is prepared and provides guidance on how to pose. I am forever thankful that she captured that chapter of my life! She also took our newborn's photos at 2 weeks old. I was worried that we wouldn't have the best outcome because our baby wouldn't fall asleep, but once he finally did she did her magic. I appreciated how she moved around her studio like a choreographed dance. And again, she was open to ideas to personalize our session. We have also explored various locations and styles. Every shoot with Louis is easy and professional. Carrie was suggested to us from our wedding venue, the homestead at Wilshire Ranch, and as soon as I saw her work, I instantly knew I wanted to work with her. When first contacted her, her prices were a little out of our budget, knowing it would be high though since wedding photography and video is normally high, especially if their work is good. I informed her of our price range and she was willing to help cater to our budget. I was ecstatic since she had been my number one choice since the moment I saw her work. In her package she includes, wedding day photos of course and also an engagement shoot. With the engagement shoot we were able to get to know her a little as well as her get to know us. We fell even more in love with her. Her personality is so personable, really made us feel like her friend since most know, being photographed isn't always the most comfortable. She made us laugh, smile, comfortable, and warm (we shot our engagement session in the mountains with 40 degree weather!!) didn't even notice how cold I was though. Our big day, she arrived right on time and began to work her magic!! She was so attentive, kept our group in Check when things started to get rowdy, and with my family and friends, it gets rowdy hahah... she was so kind about everything though and you can tell she was working so hard to make sure everything was perfect. Like others said before, she seems amazing at first, until we put our deposit down. She disappeared. Sent our contact over a week later, then again no responses after that. EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of. Almost made me think she wouldn't show up on my wedding day. Day of, dressed unprofessional, had an attitude with videographer and family. It was such a beautiful venue and photos were only taken in 3 spots. One being the freaking dirt parking lot! My dressed was covered in dirt before my reception. Photos also look mostly unedited, not in a good way. Sadly, she was one of the venues recommended photographers.
