Offering better amenities & cheaper admission prices. I really enjoy coming to this AmStar by Santikos Mooresville location and have been for many years. The staff are always very kind & helpful, & the reclining chairs in the auditorium are the best in the area. There's plenty of room to get in & out of the aisles also. I adore the well lit & vivid colors of the lobby, white & lime green (my favorite color)! This theater has been properly kept up with & reasonably updated over the last 5-6 years. Earlier this year, they finally got the Coca-Cola Free-Style machines & they also now have super cool self serve popcorn machines. Popcorn, Soda, and ICEES are ALL REFILLABLE regardless of the size you order. The ticket prices are also reasonable given the updates made recently (and still less expensive than Regal Birkdale). Just saying! There could be some better "real-food" options, but other than that AmStar by Santikos Mooresville is currently the best theater for a movie going experience (aside from the AMC's at the malls) in the Lake Norman area! The theater has plenty of seating and the staff are all so friendly! There are stairs so be sure to check the website which tells which films are being shown upstairs for anyone who has limited mobility. The seats are surprisingly newer & very comfortable. They "rock" or "give" a bit for anyone who likes to lean back instead of sit on what feels like a wall of bricks (like most old theater seating.)
