Todd was extremely friendly, helpful and went over the services in detail with me. My gift certificate consisted of a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. We decided to break it up and I had my appointments on two different Saturdays one following the other. Considering I have small children and I am a stay at home mom, that worked out best for me and I was happy that they were so accommodating. I went for my manicure and pedicure early on a Saturday morning and was greeted warmly; I had a couple of minutes to browse around the front shop which is absolutely adorable. They have everything from scented candles, jewelry, gifts, perfume, clothes, robes and lots and lots of fun make up! I was taken care of by Brittany and she was absolutely fabulous; very sweet and very talented. I loved my manicure and pedicure; it was nice and quiet and relaxing. I am very pleased to say that the polish on my fingernails lasted over two weeks (we used Chanel polish). I would absolutely see Brittany again. The following Saturday is when I had my facial and my massage. My massage was very nice and I hate the fact that I forgot both of my beauty technicians names, however if I do find out who they are, I will make an edit because they were both lovely. I really enjoyed my facial; we had nice light conversation and she was telling me everything that she was doing and how beneficial it was for my skin. I was so relaxed I honestly did not want that facial to ever end. I would have given my experience five stars however one thing that brought it down; there is no private place to sit and relax in between services. Yes, there is a small waiting room but it is right behind the main front shop and you can hear all the hustle and bustle. Having a small dimly lit room with maybe some comfortable chairs, some tea, coffee (champagne on the weekends), candies burning, soft music etc kind of like a hidden sanctuary. I'm sure there's probably not enough room for it however that's just something that I thought of because in between my massage and facial I was literally standing in the hallway in my robe waiting...for technicians to pass by, for my girl to be ready for me etc...it was a little awkward. Other than that it was a fantastic experience and I would absolutely go back and plan on it very soon.

What a way to end a reputable business. Not a Christian business as stated in a Green Street Baptist publication. Does anyone know how to contact the owners? They sold us an $1800 gift certificate and closed down without even contacting us. My sister who purchased the certificate spoke with them many times trying to plan the perfect birthday for me and my sisters. We are all senior citizens and this is a lot of money to lose. We had to cancel our March appointment because of coronavirus and had hoped to reschedule. We are sorry that coronavirus made it difficult for them to stay in business but we are surprised and disappointed that a business who was so reputable for so many years would do this this. Rituals Spa offered a pleasant experience with friendly and attentive staff who gathered details about my skin and routine prior to the facial to ensure no negative interactions. The facial provided a relaxing environment, leaving my skin glowing. While the therapist was sweet, the outdated facility was underwhelming, needing some major attention. I wished for more explanation on products used during my facial, as no information was shared & would have liked if the therapist ensured no irritation or discomfort during the facial due to products. Despite this, the therapist respected my preference for quiet time. I payed $65 for my "custom facial" which I thought was a fair price for lasting almost an hour. However after the treatment I did not feel it was worth the price. Being a longstanding establishment, Rituals Spa appealed to me as a choice to support a local business over a big conglomerate med spa. Recognizing each therapist has their unique approach, I would be intrigued to explore other practitioners for a varied experience.

I was hard-pressed for a little stress relief and paid almost twice as much as I would at my regular spot. It would normally be totally worth it for a last-minute appointment but, unfortunately, it wasn't. The therapist seemed rushed, spent a lot of time talking (She was super sweet, I just didn't want to talk...) and didn't take direction very well. When asked to dig in a little more, she'd say something to the effect of "Oh, just wait for it," but never actually did. I will say, there seemed to be a TON of treatment rooms which leads me to believe they have many massage therapists. I'm sure many are very good. (And if you like lighter massages, it may not be an issue at all.) Buuuuuuut, for me, spending money on a massage is a rare treat. I probably won't be back only because when I do shell out the cash, I want to know it will be worth it.

I felt like royalty. Their pressure and strokes matched almost exactly. It felt like I was being massaged by one person with four hands in a very rhythmic fashion. It was a very relaxing massage. Unlike many others that I've had where the therapist will focus on knots they find, this massage was more like a choreographed dance, which was a nice change of pace. I also liked that at the end, they spent a lot more time than normal on my neck, head, & feet. The room was very comfortable and I liked the table warmer. I whole-heartily recommend them.

The scrape portion was hit or miss and parts of my foot and hers was incomplete and massage of legs felt phoned in... I would've left this at a 2, but it was my friends birthday and the tech working on her sloshed water and the jelly bath substance all into her leather/suede Birkenstocks, completely destroying a nearly $200 pair of shoes. We understand that accidents happen, but there was no sincerity or offer to reduce price or make it better. Wasn't looking for a handout, but we tried working with tech and manager and they just stared at us as we left with this poor memory. Will not be returning.
